Chapter 320: Chapter 320- Drezzle (2)
“Lord Drezzle.”

Right after entering, the two demonically possessed humans fell on their knees and bowed. The demon did not answer; it continued to relish on the taste of blood and the despair of the human it had just killed.

Finally, after licking its hands clean of blood, the demon turned its attention slightly.

“Report, how are the preparations going? Remember, if it’s disappointing, the next heart I’ll eat will be yours,” The demon; no, the high ranking demon, Drezzle threatened.

It had two dog like heads and a muscular frame covered in black fur from head to toe. On its head, it had four horns, showing how high up the rank it was.

“Y-Yes,” the demonically possessed human, while cowering, gave their full report.

“I see in that case, I can report it back to Lord Demon General.” The demon nodded. The next second, though, it started cackling ominously.

“Kekeke… Since Lord Skarnyx, the Twelfth Heavenly King, has already sent his divine message to all those churches, then there is no longer any need to keep false saints like you two alive”.

“Huh? W-What is Lord Drezzle saying?” the two humans, with their faces pale, asked.

“Kekeke… it is so easy to entice you humans. You all are the culmination of sins and negative energy. A little temptation and you’re all already willing to betray your own race. Don’t you think there is no need for such a useless race anymore?”.

Its other head spoke, “You all will be better becoming my meal”.

At that moment, one of its heads lunged forward, becoming bigger and bigger by the minute. The humans tried to run away; however, the head was faster. It reached in a second or two and gulped them down in one go.

Cruch… Cruch… disturbing noise rang out inside the building.

“Kekeke… their taste is not bad. But as expected, once corrupted, there is no longer that pure taste to them anymore. Well, there is one currently hiding. I wonder what this one tastes like.”

Its other head looked towards the direction where Reinhardt was hiding. In that split second, a magic circle appeared in front of the mouth of the demon, and it spat a black, viscous liquid that burned and ate through everything.

The steel beams and walls quickly melted, revealing the figure of Rienahrdt calmly standing in his place. In his hands was a metal shield shining with the light of divine energy.

The latter looked at the black, viscous liquid that ate through the metal shield like acid and threw it away. The shield was an ordinary shield, and he only used it because he instinctively abhorred the thought of receiving what looked like the demon’s spit, with his armor.

“Kekeke… human, did you think that you could sneak inside the barrier without me realising?”

The entire place, despite being underneath the city, did not have any water because of the magical barrier that he set. Any fish or even sea cucumber that enters his barrier will be immediately sensed by him.

“That said, I have to give you credit, I didn’t think that any human was capable of diving this deep inside the water,” Drezzle cackled. It needs to be mentioned that the pressure of the water around this parts was so great that it could even crush reinforced steel much less needs to be said about a human’s body.

“You underestimate humans too much. Any knight, as long as they possess the will of steel, can make it here. It’s nothing too great”. Reinahrdt entertained this demon who looked down on humans too much.

“Kekeke… for a human who is about to die, you talk too much,” Saying that, the Drezzle spat out multiple more of those viscous black liquids.

His eyes twitching, he quickly dodged those abominable spits.

“You dance very well for a human. However, this is your end; sneaking here was your mistake. I will eat you relishingly…gugh” One of its heads was busy spitting while the other talking when…

BANG… Reinhardt appeared like a ghost in front of the demon and punched its ugly mug. Immediately, one of its heads was blown apart and the force carried its huge body airborne, smashing it far away.

“Stopping spitting, you vile creature” He spoke, his tone a little mad. Be it magic or whatnot, he really didn’t want to touch that mucus.

“Grrr…Kuh!! W-Who are you, human? W-Why were you sneaking around with that strength?”

The demon pulled itself from the gauge it made on the ground and placed its attention on the human, this time with caution and a little fear in its eyes. To send its enormous body flying and destroying one of its heads with a single punch, the man warranted its caution.

“Hmph, bold of you to assume that I was sneaking. I was not hiding, I merely positioned myself behind the wall so that no one could see me and I could better observe the situation”.

In the first place, it was a mistake on the Drezzle’s part to think that Reinahrdt was sneaking. A man as inconspicuous as him was so easily spottable that if he tried to hide, it would rather be laughable.

“Isn’t that just another way of putting that you were sneaking?” The demon was lost for words.

“Shut up!! A knight does not hide.” Another punch and the demon’s remaining head popped like a balloon.

That said, it did not die. As a high ranking demon, its regeneration was frightening; even regrowing its head was no difficult matter. Within a minute, it regrew both of its heads back.

The moment it did, it let loose a barrage of magic, completely destroying hundreds of meters of area. At the same time, the barrier was also released, causing the water to flood the place.

The demon did not stop to check whether it killed the human or not. After suffering two punches from that human, it knocked the sense into the former that it was no match for the latter and ran at the first chance.
