System's POV - Chapter 1351
Chapter 1351: Thirteen’s Plan C [Part 2]
As Rocky’s entire body blazed like a pillar of flame, the number of Wind Blades raining down on him steadily increased.
The Hell Lord Balboa had asked its Master to hide inside its Mobile Fortress to ensure his safety from the bombardment. But Thirteen asked his loyal friend to endure for just one more minute.
Suddenly, the ring in Thirteen’s hand gave him a tingling feeling, which made the teenage boy smile faintly.
“What took you so long?” Thirteen asked the sky, as if it was going to give him an answer.
The Wanderers and the Jinns thought that Zion had gone crazy after seeing a helpless situation.
But against everyone’s expectations, laughter spread across the sky.
“It’s because Heroes always arrive last!”
Everyone then heard a loud sonic boom that spread across the heavens. A few seconds later, screeches of pain, disbelief, and horror reverberated in the surroundings.
Several of the Vultures crashed down from the sky as if they were knocked down from the air by something fast and deadly, leaving only devastation in their wake.
By the time the Red-Eyed Carrion Lord realized what was happening, a tenth of his army had already crashed on the ground.
“Now, it’s our turn to counterattack!” Thirteen raised his hand, and his monster army materialized around him after exiting Rocky’s Mobile Fortress.
Giga roared and charged forward.
Blacky followed behind him, and Hercules moved like a truck that would send anything it hit flying.
The trolls, the ogres, the monkeys, the goblins, and the apes charged like a raging tide.
They were led respectively by their leaders, Harahon, Lord Zorca, and Khan.
Meanwhile, Zed screeched loud and clear as it attacked the other vultures with a speed that was second only to the Death Bat, who was currently rampaging across the heavens.
Yes, Thirteen’s Plan C was Camazotz.
The Death Bat had traveled from his domain for nearly a week straight before arriving in the Samara Desert.
Camazotz could travel at the speed of sound, so although his territory was at the far north of the main continent of Solterra, he managed to reach the western side after just a week of flying.
Thirteen understood that this mission was hard, so he decided to ask the members of his Trinity to help him in battle.
Paimon only agreed to help him after the teenage boy told her that Camazotz was already on his way to assist him in battle.
Since the Death Bat had defeated Paimon in their duel, she understood that the chances of them winning were high if they teamed up.
It was quite unfortunate that Kamrusepa and Zapar didn’t have the ability to travel just as quickly, but they agreed to meet Zion somewhere along the way so the four of them could join forces.
“Hahaha!” Camazotz laughed out loud. “Finally! I can now vent my frustrations! All of you will become my subordinates! Anyone who refuses will die!”
Thirteen’s shamelessness had rubbed off on the Death Bat, and just like Thirteen, it planned to increase its army by forcefully taking them from the armies of others.
After his initial surprise attack, Camazotz circled the sky and targeted Harron, which was immediately knocked out by a single hand chop at the back of its head.
With their leader crashing toward the ground, the rest of the vultures panicked and decided to escape.
However, how could Camazotz allow such a thing to happen?
Flying at the speed of sound, his sonic booms knocked the vultures unconscious, making them fall from the sky.
Countless dust clouds made up of sand rose as countless vultures crashed to the ground.
Thirteen’s army slapped, punched, kicked, and body slammed anything that was still moving in front of them.
Because of this, some of the vultures decided to play dead. They hoped it would prevent them from getting mobbed to oblivion by the monsters that were one-sidedly dominating the sandy desert.
“So this was his Plan C…” Jar Jar muttered. “Just how did he get such a strong Majin Prince as a helper?”
Despite being a newly promoted Rank 9 Sovereign, the most that Jar Jar could see was a red blur in the sky that was passing over the densest formations of the vulture army.
He found it funny that the vultures were falling down on the ground like rain, unable to defy the Majin Prince that came out of nowhere.
The Wanderers, on the other hand, still had no idea what was happening.
Since they couldn’t see Camazotz properly, the only thing they could do was watch in awe as the once-intimidating vulture army turned into helpless monsters that couldn’t offer any signs of resistance.
Twenty minutes later, not a single vulture could be seen in the sky.
All of them were either lying motionless on the sands or being slapped, punched, and body slammed by Giga and the rest of Thirteen’s Monster Army.
The Desert King Snake, Sharak, had also appeared in the midst of battle.
It didn’t join the monsters in subjugating the vultures. Instead, it eyed them with pity, knowing the fate that awaited them after the battle was over.
With a Majin Prince personally fighting on the front lines, this outcome was already set in stone.
‘Unless Lord Valac and the other Lords join hands to fight together, no one will be able to stand against that hateful human.’ Sharak sighed internally before shifting his gaze to Zion and the black snake staring back at him.
Sharak subconsciously shuddered after meeting Tiona’s gaze.
Her imprint was already firmly rooted inside his heart, so he couldn’t do anything to betray her and Zion.
When no vulture was no longer in sight, the Death Bat finally descended and landed gently a few meters away from Thirteen.
Seeing who their helper was, Roland and Derek were genuinely surprised. They didn’t expect to see Camazotz in the Samara Desert.
The other Wanderers also recognized the Majin Prince because he had fought alongside them during the war in the Cygni Continent.
In fact, Camazotz was now very popular with the Wanderers of Pangea. He even participated in many interviews as part of Thirteen’s propaganda.
He wanted the Wanderers to think that the Jinns weren’t mindless monsters who ate humans just because they wanted to.
Because of Camazotz’s help, the hesitant Wanderers chose to take the chance to return to Cygni and Rigel, where they once lived in peace.
“Are you satisfied with my performance?” Camazotz asked with a devilish smile plastered on its face.
“Yes,” Thirteen replied. “Thank you for coming. You’re the only one I can depend on during these dire times.”
The Death Bat rubbed its nose because it was very rare for Thirteen to praise someone. However, since the teenage boy’s words sounded sincere, Camazotz felt that his long and arduous journey, which took nearly a week, was worth it.
“Don’t worry. Since Big Brother Cranky is recovering from his injuries, I will be taking his place.” Camazotz patted his chest with confidence. “With me around, we will be able to gather more manpower from our enemies.”
Thirteen nodded because this was the true way to build an army from scratch.
Although his current forces were still not able to contend with the Celestial Army, he still had time to recruit more powerhouses that would allow them to stand a chance against the hidden mastermind that was pulling the strings from the shadows.
