Chapter 1350: Thirteen’s Plan C [Part 1]
After clearing out Valac’s forces in the Samara Desert, Thirteen led the way to their next target, heading southeast.

Given the desert’s vastness, it would take some time before word of the tragedy of Valac and his army reached the Majin Princes. Paimon’s domain served as a buffer, which prevented them from knowing what happened on the other side.

“Tell me more about our next target,” Thirteen said to Jar Jar, who had witnessed his exploits for the past week.

The Red Salamander no longer questioned the teenage boy’s decisions and simply followed him like a subordinate.

“The army we will face next belongs to Lord Sahard,” Jar Jar replied. “Most of his subordinates are flying Jinns, like vultures and the likes. It will be hard to fight them in the air.”

Thirteen nodded in agreement because flying Jinns were quite annoying to fight.

If you didn’t have any flying Avatars, you would have no choice but to wait for them to swoop down and enter your strike range.

Also, not all Flying Monsters were equal. Some flew faster than others, so this also had to be considered when fighting against them.

When Thirteen was choosing Land Mounts and Air Mounts for the 69th Battalion, he chose the Night Wolves for the land and Gyrfalcons for the air.

Both moved fast in their respective terrains, allowing them to outmaneuver most of their enemies.

If he had the 69th Battalion with him, he was confident that they would put up a good fight.

Unfortunately, he had a rag-tag group of Wanderers, and not all of them had a flying avatar.

In fact, within Zion’s monster army, only the demi-human Roc, Zed, could be counted on in an aerial battle.

“Are we really going to fight them?” Jar Jar asked for the second time.

“Yes,” Thirteen replied. “Don’t worry. I have a Plan C.”

Jar Jar chuckled because the teenage boy had also said that he had a Plan C when they were wiping out Valac’s forces.

However, they didn’t encounter a lot of trouble in fighting against the Majin Prince’s army, so Zion didn’t need to implement his Plan C.

“I really want to see what your Plan C is, Zion,” Jar Jar commented.

“You might see it soon.” Thirteen smiled faintly. “Just don’t be too surprised when it happens.”

He sounded quite confident, which finally put the Red Salamander’s heart at ease.

“Just remember, we cannot help you once the fighting starts,” Jar Jar stated. “You said that my Mistress must not be suspected of cooperating with your faction.”

“That’s right.” Thirteen nodded. “So after we reach the border of Sahard’s domain, you guys will no longer accompany us.”

The teenage boy had already sent the High-Ranking Jinns in the Order of the Apocalypse, where they were being brainwashed by Evuvug, Glenn, and Ossan.

They would act as the bulk of his army, but right now, they couldn’t be used against the Flying Jinns.

However, Thirteen wasn’t too worried. His trump card would be arriving soon.

A week later, the Wanderers finally crossed over to Sahard’s domain.

And to his surprise, countless vultures were already circling the sky, as if waiting for their arrival.

It seemed that news had finally reached them through some other channels, and they had come prepared to face the teenage boy and his ragtag army.

“Master, that doesn’t look good.” Derek felt intimidated because the enemies were too numerous.

Even if he and Roland had powerful Flying Avatars, they weren’t confident that they would even last half a minute in facing off against such a powerful aerial army.

The Wanderers also felt intimidated and were having flashbacks of the war that had happened on the Cygni Continent.

Back then, the skies were filled with countless flying Jinns, almost blocking out the light of the sun during that great battle.

The only difference was that their side didn’t have that kind of flying army, and the only thing they could do was look up at the tens of thousands of flying monsters eyeing them all like prey.

Jar Jar watched this from afar, wondering what Zion was going to do.

He mentioned Plan C more than once during their conversation, so the Jinn wanted to know where the teenage boy’s confidence was coming from.

“Don’t worry, we will win,” Thirteen said with confidence as he stepped forward. “All of you stay here. I’ll handle this on my own.”

Roland and Derek wanted to accompany Zion. But they stayed, fearing that they would be more of a hindrance than help in whatever he planned to do.

Raising his hand, Thirteen summoned Rocky, whose entire body was nearly a hundred meters long.

The Hell Lord Balboa roared defiantly, not fearing the vultures in the slightest.

The weakest vulture was a Rank 4 Monster, and the strongest was a Rank 9 Red-Eyed Carrion Lord that goes by the name Harron.

He was the Commander of Sahard’s Army in the Samara Desert, and he had been given full authority to use any means to annihilate anyone who trespassed on their domain.

“Kill!” Harron ordered.

The vultures under his command unleashed a barrage of Wind Blades that blotted out the light of the sun.

Thirteen stood right behind Rocky, and the Hell Lord Balboa unleashed a Fire Breath to disperse the attack that was about to land on its body.

Some of the Wind Blades dispersed, but the majority of them passed through Rocky’s preventive strike, hitting his body like rain.

The Defense of a Rank 9 Hell Lord Balboa was nothing to scoff at, but the sheer amount of Wind Blades that hit it made Rocky cry out in pain.

Even so, it held its ground because its Master was right behind it.

The Hell Lord Balboa’s body then turned red like hot coals, as it increased the heat to mitigate the Wind Blades that were hitting its body.

Thirteen looked unfazed and were simply looking at the sky. It was as if he was waiting for something to happen while Rocky bought him some precious time to put his plan into action.
