Chapter 1597: Elders
The Venom Overlord stood before numerous people. They had gathered over 100,000 people from various tribes.

The Venom Overlord stepped forth and shouted, using the spiritual energy to transmit his voice to all the people.

“Uoohhh!” The five tribes were led by their respective chieftains. They were hungry for blood, as they knew how hard the beast kingdom was toyed with by those demons. It was time for them to show that no matter what tricks the demons had, it would be broken by their strength.

Due to the time they took to assemble their forces, even with the previous preparation, it took them quite a while.

That was why they had only marched a few minutes and they finally saw the hundreds of thousands of demons that were about to hit their kingdom.

They saw the overwhelming number of enemies, but none of them felt scared. They were confident in their strength. And with the strongest elder leading them, there was nothing they needed to fear.

“Charge!” the Venom Overlord commanded out loud.

“Uoohhh!”

The Dog Tribe and the Cat Tribe sped up, showing their specialty. All of them pounced on the demons, not planning to lose against the demons who had taken over other beasts.

They dragged the demons, scratched them, or even used their weapons to cut them apart.

The Bull Tribe and the Rhino Tribe came not long after, showcasing their overwhelming strength. Their warriors were the fiercest as they overpowered their enemy head-on.

While those four tribes handled the head-on confrontation, the Snake Tribe was circling around their army. In the end, the number of the enemy was too great. The Snake Tribe was there to ensure that they were able to continue the head-on confrontation, allowing the other tribes to display their strength to the fullest.

The Venom Overlord turned his head, staring at Andreas. Andreas had grown mature since the last time he saw him. He now had a much cooler and more resolute look.

Andreas nodded with a serious expression, still not knowing what had happened to Old Ru.

“Help me a little-nya!” The Phantom smiled playfully. “I can take care of the rest. There is still no ancient demon in sight, so it should be doable.”

The Venom Overlord couldn’t help but agree. The ancient demons hadn’t shown themselves yet, so this was a perfect chance to begin.

“Alright. I will open a path for you.”

“May I do it as well?” Andreas suddenly stepped forward.

“You sure? Your power is much more useful in a one-on-one battle, no?”

“I’m sure.”

“Alright.” The Venom Overlord agreed, not planning to restrict Andreas’s growth. He had promised to take care of Andreas, but he never planned to shelter him the whole time. After all, Andreas was a fighter. If they caged him up, he would become useless. That wasn’t what Old Ru wanted.

“In that case, follow my lead.” The Venom Overlord raised his hand. “Come forth! Nine Poison Calamity!”

Suddenly, a huge snake appeared out of thin air. The green snake gathered its energy in its belly.

“Go forth!” The Venom Overlord supplied all the energy that the snake wanted as the latter spat out a high-pressure poison that looked like a water jet instead.

The poison beam hit the demons in a straight line as the snake gradually raised its head, allowing the beam to continue traveling forward, ultimately creating a line in the enemy’s rank.

“Go!” the Venom Overlord shouted. In that instant, both the Phantom and Andreas leaped into the gap and used their fastest speed to travel.

Still, the poison line didn’t stretch all the way to the end. The Phantom was prepared to handle this, but Andreas sped up first.

“Haaaa!” Andreas roared as his hair grew longer and turned pure white, letting out a dim white glow like that of moonlight. The powerful burst of energy coming from his body was directed to his sword.

Andreas might have a power related to the soul, but he was originally a swordsman. That was why he swung his blade like Noel once swung it.

“Moon Cleaver!”

The energy from the sword erupted and ran through the ground, cutting everything in its path.

“Nya?!” The Phantom was impressed. The gap might not be as big as the one the Venom Overlord made, but it was more than enough for the Phantom.

The Phantom rushed forth as the demons were trying their best to patch up the hole.

Unfortunately, it was useless.

The Phantom’s eyes turned bloodshot as she waved her hands, her nails cutting the demons in her path into pieces, ensuring that the gap remained open.

It took her only a few seconds to finally pass hundreds of thousands of demons as she took off to the Ardagan family right away.
