Chapter 490: Greet Your Superiors Properly
The people in the hall were the escorts of the various Council members. There was a group that had green skin, red eyes, and stood at more than three meters tall, and another group that was made up of dwarves that carried large axes and swords. The short creatures had various inscriptions all over their bodies, and Jason could immediately tell with a glance that this was the Aruna language.

‘So the dwarves are expert Rune Crafters.’

Jason hummed as he read this message from the system, and he then turned to another group at the side that had large angel-like wings sprouting from their backs and halos of various colours on their heads. This group also had the Aruna language inscribed on their bodies, and Jason could feel both Alpha and Devon reacting violently when he looked at them, so he realised that there must’ve been bad blood between the two races.

‘Angels and Demons. It’s obvious that they wouldn’t get along.’

Jason scoffed as he said this, and he finally turned to the group that stood out the most to him. The group was made up of three people – two men and a woman – and they all had various bionic implants attached to their bodies. Jason could immediately tell that those three were from the Machina race. The three of them had been standing beside the audience seats and talking in hushed whispers, but the moment Jason’s group appeared, they turned to glare at the group. Jason could sense the tension in the room rise immediately as most of the other groups also looked over at them, and Jason just turned to speak to Gina and the others.

“Ignore anything they say or do, and don’t get into a fight no matter what. We can’t afford to have any more issues right now. Do you understand?”

Jason looked around to make sure that everyone was listening closely. Jason knew that there was no way the other groups wouldn’t talk to them. They were basically the ‘new kids on the block’ and unless the other groups just didn’t care at all, they would definitely try to do or say something that would get on the nerves of Jason’s group! In fact, the Machina group was still glaring at Jason and his group right now, and Jason was certain that if they would have any issues, then it would come from those fuckers! But Jason trusted his group not to cause any issues. The Faceless Keepers had already warned them enough times not to get into a fight, so no one would be stupid enough to ignore all those warnings!

Gina nodded to Jason’s words, and she came closer and gave Jason a kiss before wishing him luck. Gina then turned to Riyala and gave her a hug, and she told her to try her best to remain calm. Riyala nodded, and the rest of the group wished both Jason and Riyala good luck before they watched as Jason and Riyala began heading to the stage in the middle of the Hall. Gina felt some nervousness rising in her heart as she watched the two of them leave, but she easily stamped it down since she knew her nervousness wouldn’t help anyone and she just turned and began moving to the seats at the side with the rest of the group following after her.

As they approached the seats, Gina noticed the group from the Machina race still looking at them, and Gina wasn’t surprised when the group began moving towards them once they were close enough. The group was made up of two men and a woman, and the woman looked like she was about to pop a fucking blood vessel from how deeply she was scowling at them! The woman came to stand in front of Gina and the others and levelled them with the most condescending look that Gina had ever seen. Gina scowled right back at them and spoke in irritation.

“Can we help you with something?”

One of the two male Machina stepped forward in anger when he heard Gina’s tone!

“Hey, what’s that tone you’re using with your betters? Don’t you know who you’re standing in front of right now?”

Gina didn’t even argue, and her eyes just glanced over the female Machina like she was appraising her. The female Machina was dressed in a long battle gown that had a split down one side to allow her to move her legs freely. Her gown was sleeveless, and that allowed Gina to see the two robotic hands that had replaced the Machina’s real hands! The woman’s eyes were also shining with an unnatural blue light, and Gina figured that her eyes had to also be robotic! The two male Machina behind the female one only had minor robotic enhancements, and this showed that the female was far stronger than them. Gina already learned a lot about the Machina in the past few days, and she knew that a Machina’s strength was proportional to how much of their body they could replace with machinery! The fact that the female Machina could replace two hands and her eyes meant that she was probably somewhere in the low to mid-level SS Rank! But Gina really couldn’t care less!

“We aren’t interested in having a conversation with you. Please move so we can take our seats.”

Gina tried her best to be as polite as possible, but the female Machina frowned as she stepped closer to Gina and looked up at her! The female Machina was a head shorter than Gina, but just from the way she moved, it was obvious that she had an extremely difficult personality. This woman was named Freya, and she was one of the fastest-rising members of the Machina army as well as an SS-Rank fighter. Freya had only graduated from combat school one month ago, but in that month, she managed to rise through the ranks of the military at such a rapid pace that it even drew the attention of the Supreme Overlord! Freya’s rapid growth as well as her unwavering loyalty to the Machina and the Overlord granted her the Overlord’s favour, and that was the reason why the Overlord made her the youngest member of his personal protection detail! It was a great honour for any member of the Machina race, and Freya held the Overlord in the highest regard for granting her this honour!

But right now, Freya was pissed! From the moment Freya laid eyes on the group from Earth and Radagan, Freya had felt an intense rage fill every cell in her body, and now that Freya was standing in front of them, she felt even angrier! Freya couldn’t believe these fools would dare to go against the orders of the Overlord! Who did they think they were!? Radagan was just some pathetic world that only had the Rank III rating because of the dragons that they possessed! But if Radagan was the only world that went against the Overlord, then Freya wouldn’t have even been this angry! But the fact that a pathetic Rank II world like Earth dared to stand up to the Overlord as well was what made her blood boil! Who the fuck did these fools think they were to question anything that the Overlord commands!?

Freya’s eyes narrowed at Gina, and she seethed at her in anger.

“Why the fuck are you not greeting the member of your superior world properly?”

Gina’s face immediately soured!
