Chapter 473: Together in The Bathroom
“Hey, babe. I see you’re having fun.”

Jason spoke up calmly, and he saw the smile on Gina’s face grow even larger as she walked over to him and leaned down to give him a deep kiss. Gina grinned once they separated, and she turned when she heard Riyala whisper from behind.

“Gina, do I really have to do this? This is so embarrassing.”

“No, it isn’t. We’re both in a relationship with Jason, so this is fine. Come on, let’s wash up so we can join him in the tub.”

Gina pulled Riyala closer and Riyala swallowed as she finally looked at Jason in the bathtub! Riyala’s face seemed to turn impossibly red once she did this, and she quickly looked away in embarrassment! Jason grinned at Riyala’s cuteness, and Gina rolled her eyes as she dragged Riyala over to the shower so they could wash together. Riyala snuck another glance at Jason when she was passing, but Riyala’s face grew even hotter once she saw that Jason was also watching her, and she quickly bowed her head again as she ran after Gina! Jason just smiled and let out a small sigh as he leaned back in the tub.

“Wow, I didn’t know you had more scales on your back. Oh my god, they look so cool. Can you feel this?”

“Gina, where are you touching? Stop, Gina! Of course I can feel it!”

“Oh, come on, I just wanted to see what the scales felt like! And we’re both girls, so it’s fine to touch you! Just like this!”

“Gina! Get your hands off my breasts! Gina!”

Smack!

“Ow! Jason, Riyala hit me!”

“Because Gina’s acting like a perverted old man!”

Jason chuckled as he listened to the girls arguing in the shower, and he felt his amusement grow when Riyala cried out as Gina started touching her again while ignoring her protests! By the time Gina and Riyala were done, Riyala’s face had grown even redder from both embarrassment and anger, and Gina now had a small lump on her head from where Riyala had hit her multiple times. Jason leaned his head back slightly to see Gina smiling in victory while Riyala looked away with a frown, and Jason finally spoke up.

“Alright Gina, I think you’ve tormented Riyala enough. If you push any further, she might end up burning the house down. Riyala, ignore that menace, come here.”

Jason put his hand out to Riyala, and Riyala felt her embarrassment growing as she realised what Jason wanted to do! Riyala hesitated for a moment before she finally reached out to take his hand, and Jason gently pulled her into the tub with him and made her sit between his legs. Riyala was so red at that moment that the bathwater immediately began to boil once she stepped inside, but Jason didn’t mind, and he held Riyala close to his chest as she leaned back into him. Jason asked Riyala if she was comfortable, and Riyala nodded shyly as she felt goosebumps traveling across her body from where Jason was holding her.

“Riyala’s just too uptight. I don’t see what the problem is when it’s just the three of us.”

Gina spoke up with a small laugh as she stepped into the tub as well, and Gina smiled at Riyala’s glare while sitting on the opposite side of the tub so that she was facing Riyala and Jason. Jason grinned, and he told Gina to handle Riyala with care while pulling Riyala closer to his chest.

“You wouldn’t want to make an enemy of the Priestess of Fire. She could bring the full might of Radagan down on you with a single word.”

Riyala would have laughed at Jason’s joke, but she was too busy blushing at her proximity to Jason’s chest! Riyala could feel Jason’s erection pressing against her back, and Jason felt more goosebumps travelling down Riyala’s skin as she fought against every instinct to get up and run away. Riyala drew her legs up to her chest, and she held onto them as she heard Jason speak up from behind her in a worried tone.

“Are you alright, Riyala? You’ve been really tense for a while now.”

Jason had noticed since they went with Cercei to speak to the Gaia scholars that Riyala had been a little lost in thought. Jason was sure that Gina had also noticed the same thing, and that was the reason why Gina tried so hard to make Riyala relax in the bath. The only reason Jason could think of for her to be this tense was the hearing that was coming up, but Jason decided that rather than dancing around it, it was better to just come out and ask her what she had been thinking about. Riyala was a little surprised by Jason’s question, and she was even more surprised when she saw Gina looking at her with a curious expression as well! Riyala realised that both Jason and Gina had noticed her absentmindedness, and she hugged her legs tighter against her chest as she spoke up softly.

“It’s nothing much, I’m just worried about the hearing tomorrow. Uhm… you know I just became the priestess recently, and there’s a lot that still needs to be done in Radagan before we’re back on our feet. I’m just wondering what will happen to us if the council decides not to overturn the Overlord’s decision. Giving that many gold coins is going to put us back by decades, and I don’t know if our people will ever recover. I feel like… I feel like I failed my people.”

Jason tightened his hand around Riyala’s waist and drew her closer when he heard all this. Jason already knew that her worries had something to do with the hearing, but it turned out that Riyala’s mind was just bringing up the worst possible scenario and making her anxious before they even got to the hearing. Jason spoke up calmly.

“You’re being too negative. We’ve been working hard on a counterargument all this time, and what we’ve found is good enough to get rid of the Overlord’s demand altogether, so there’s no way the council can ignore us. The whole point of this hearing is so we can fix this.”

Riyala pressed her chin into her knee. Normally, Riyala would have never allowed her worries to show like this. Riyala was the priestess of fire, so it was her responsibility to always show a strong front to her people and make sure that they knew she was in control of every situation. But when Riyala was with Jason and Gina, she couldn’t help but let her guard down, and her actual worries about the future and what could happen to all of them came bleeding through. Riyala spoke up in a slightly depressed tone.

“But what if it’s not enough. You’ve heard the rumours about the Council being partial towards the Overlords, right? What if the council hears everything we have to say, and they still take the Overlord’s side? What if we lose?”

“If we lose, then we’ll lose together.”

Gina spoke up from in front of Riyala, and Riyala looked up at her with wide eyes. Gina was giving Riyala a serious look, and Riyala could see an intense resolve shining in Gina’s eyes. Gina hadn’t been as involved as Jason or Riyala in forming the counterargument with the scholars earlier, but Gina had seen just how hard everyone worked towards making this succeed! If they were going to go into this, then they needed to be confident that they would win! And even if all the cards were against them and they ended up losing, then there was no need to put their heads down because they knew they tried their damn best! Jason smiled at Gina’s confidence, and Riyala felt her body shiver as Jason spoke to her softly.

“We already know this won’t be easy, Riyala. We know we’re at a disadvantage, and we know there’s a chance the council won’t take our side. But even still, we’re going to fight against these bastards.”
