And once she saw that Mira was asleep, she opened the door slightly wider and entered the room. Janet ran a hand through her hair with a small frown on her face, and she tiptoed towards the drawer on the other side of the room with her bare feet. But before she could leave, Janet planned to leave a letter apologizing to her mother. Janet hadn’t planned to do this before, but she knew that her mother always worked hard to keep the family together, and there was no way she could leave her mother again after what happened last time. Janet was sure that the family would be fine. After hearing about all the money that Jason had made last night and how successful the shop was now, Janet knew that they didn’t need her for anything anymore. Even if Janet vanished again, it would be like nothing even changed.
