Chapter 402: Dive Vlogging
Liam was already barking out commands at the police and the SMD agents and telling them to get the reporters into large transport vehicles that would take them back to their offices! Liam was absolutely pissed about what had just happened! This suicide bomber had managed to not only get past the police but also evade all the superhumans and agents positioned around the building! He even managed to get a seat in the fucking conference! It was obvious that this was an oversight from the SMD, and it was their fault that the reporters had almost died! Liam just hoped that Jason wouldn’t hold a grudge for this oversight!

Jason helped Juliet walk back inside the building and sat her down on one of the chairs so she could catch her breath. Jason crouched beside her and watched her calmly, and once Jason was sure that she wasn’t going to break down, he nodded and told her that she had to go back to the guild building.

“It’s not safe here, so go back to the guild and wait for me. While you’re there, tell the guild that there’s a mission for them. They need to get to New Hampshire immediately so they can take care of an orange Gate.”

Juliet blinked in surprise at Jason’s words, and she could only wonder how the hell Jason knew about this! There hadn’t been any news online about a Gate opening in New Hampshire! Jason could see the confusion on Juliet’s face, and he understood. Jason decided that the best way to go about the missions the system was still giving him was to pass them off to the guild. Jason already knew that his Legion could perform solo missions without him, so this meant that the Legion subordinates he left with the Alpha Squad in his guild would be able to open the Gate and go inside with them! This would help Jason kill two birds with one stone! He could help the Alpha Squad get stronger since he wanted them to be his insurance against any enemies on Earth in case he was on another world when a problem happened, and he could also use this as a means to get stronger since he could just resurrect any monster killed by his subordinates to increase his strength.

Jason looked Juliet in the eye and told her to trust him even if she was confused, and Juliet released a calming sigh before she smiled and said that she understood. They’d go to New Hampshire as soon as possible. Jason nodded and stood while speaking.

“Take about five million from my account and use it to buy a private jet and some cars. The guild can use that to get there quickly. I’ve already prepared all the paperwork for when you get there, so follow my subordinates’ lead, alright?”

Juliet’s eyes widened when she heard Jason say she should buy a private jet! Five million was more than enough money for them to get a private jet, but she had already thought they would have to use some sort of commercial flight to get to New Hampshire! Having a private jet would change everything, and it would also make moving across countries for missions a lot easier! Juliet nodded to Jason in understanding, and Jason called out to one of the Rook Rank nuns that he had gotten during the raid on BloodRaven and handed her the key that the system had given him.

“Open the Gate when they reach the location, and stay on them as my eyes and ears. If anything happens, then let me know immediately.”

The nun bowed to Jason, and Jason watched as the nun grabbed Juliet and immediately pulled her into the shadows to leave. Once it was done, Jason turned his attention to Liam. Liam was still giving orders to the various superhumans around, but once he noticed Jason’s eyes on him, he turned and began to come over with a slight frown on his face. Liam ran a hand through his hair and spoke once he was close enough.

“Jason, I’m really sorry about this. I have no idea how we didn’t notice that man. The agents said they checked his ID and everything, and he checked out as a journalist. We’re reaching out to the news agency he works with now to try and get more information.”

Jason hummed curiously and turned to look at the various agents running around again. So the man was actually a journalist. This was bad. The man being a journalist, meant that he wasn’t just some terrorist that had managed to sneak into this event! He was a normal person who had somehow gotten involved with a terrorist organization, and the terrorist organization managed to convince this normal man to give up his life for their cause! This meant that anyone could be from the New Order! There was no way they would be able to tell who was a terrorist or not until the person announced themselves! Jason let out a small curse before he shook his head and focused on Liam again.

“It’s no problem. You couldn’t have covered everything on such short notice. But I’d suggest you keep your eyes open for any strange movements from your agents. Maybe track their recent activities to make sure they aren’t working with that man.”

Liam’s frown deepened at Jason’s words, but it didn’t take long for Liam to understand what Jason was trying to say here! Jason was trying to tell him that any of his agents could also be a terrorist? Fuck. Liam felt like pulling his hair out. He knew that Jason was right, but this was only going to cause more problems in the future. They were going to have to go through the files of every single agent to make sure no one was related to this, and it would probably take a long time. But Liam knew that it was necessary, so he decided he would put somebody he trusted on it soon. Jason spoke up again before Liam could get lost in his thoughts.

“I’ll need a permit from the SMD for an orange Gate raid in New Hampshire. It’s in the lower district, so give us jurisdiction over the entire region.”

Liam was surprised, and he asked Jason what the hell he was talking about. Liam hadn’t heard anything about a Gate opening in New Hampshire. The last Gate that opened there was a Red Gate two days ago, so it was almost impossible for there to be another Gate so soon! Jason didn’t bother to explain himself, and he just said that he was willing to pay any amount that the SMD asked for to get the permit quickly. Liam was still confused by what Jason was trying to pull here, but he just shrugged and decided that it wouldn’t hurt to give it to Jason. If Jason was wrong, then there would be no issues, and even if he was right, then it would be a good way to improve their city’s reputation by cleaning out a Gate that no one else predicted would appear!

“I’ll write up the papers and send them to New Hampshire SMD within the hour. You said the whole lower region, right? Alright, that should be possible. It would cost almost a million for the permits since it’s such short notice, but if you’re right, you’ll make back all the money from the Magia Crystals, so it’s not a problem. Oh, I’d suggest you tell your guild members to start a Dive Vlog. It’s a video that guilds make inside Gates and post on social media when they come out. It’ll be a good way to improve your guild’s standing with the regular citizens.”

Jason hummed in understanding. Jason wasn’t really interested in trying to improve his reputation with the masses, and he didn’t even care about what the masses thought about him, but Jason knew that he couldn’t apply that same thought process to his guild. Jason wasn’t going to be getting involved in the guild a lot, but he still needed to help the guild rise quickly, even if he wasn’t a part of it, and the best way to do that was by improving the guild’s reputation. So Jason quickly sent a message to Juliet and told her about Liam’s suggestion. The nun that Jason sent with Juliet would be in charge of the Dive Vlog, so the rest of the guild members would be able to focus on their fighting.

“And I was wondering if you would be willing to help me out with something.”

Jason raised a brow when Liam suddenly said this, and he asked Liam what he needed help with.
