“Do you feel anything different?” That was the first question that I asked when she came back to her senses.

Dorothy just simply shook her head before saying, “Nothing’s really changed.”

“Even though you absorbed that patch of corruption energy.” I said with one brow raised.

With a simple nod, Dorothy said, “There wasn’t much of the corruption energy to begin with, so it wasn’t as if it would have that much of an effect on me.”

A very strange look appeared on my face when I heard this, but I didn’t say anything in the end.

I just looked at Max who seemed like he already wanted to test Dorothy.

After thinking about it, I allowed him to do what he wanted to do and test her. After all, I was concerned that something had changed with her that she wasn’t telling me about.

“It didn’t cause any change with her since the amount of corruption energy inside of her is much greater than what she absorbed. One could even say that the amount that she absorbed is nothing more than a drop in a bucket.” He said in a disappointed tone after using his equipment to test Dorothy.

Then in a more bitter tone, he said, “You should have just left that sample for me to study.”

I couldn’t help looking at Dorothy with a strange look when I heard this, but there was something else that I was concerned about.

As if he could guess what I was thinking, Max said, “The divine energy net is still working as it should, so it’s suppressing all of the corruption energy that’s inside of her.”

With a snort, he added, “You shouldn’t look down on the things that I’ve created.”

I couldn’t help revealing a wry look when I heard this, but I didn’t say anything to him.

I just continued looking at Dorothy with a gaze filled with deep thought.

If all of that corruption energy was nothing more than a drop in a bucket for her, then it really went to show just how much corruption energy was coming from her…

But then again, it wouldn’t be that strange with all that I knew about her.

Since she was something that was created by the forces of Destruction using the source of destruction energy, it was only natural that she would be able to do something like this.

In the end, I just said with a sigh, “Don’t do anything next time unless I tell you to. There’s no telling what kind of things will happen and it’s dangerous for you.”

Dorothy just gave a meek nod in the end.

Even after all of this, it showed that she really was just a child.

I turned back to Zeldir and said, “Take us to where the pests are.”

Zeldir gave a nod before leading the way again.

With Zeldir leading the way, it didn’t take long for us to find the pests.

As expected, they were corruption energy monsters.

But before I could actually do anything about them, Dorothy suddenly went forward again and raised her hand to gather corruption energy. Before I could react, there were corruption energy monsters that had formed around her.

I couldn’t help narrowing my eyes since I knew that she didn’t have this much corruption energy previously.

It seemed that absorbing the patch of corruption energy had really caused a few changes in her body.

To the side, I could also see the way that Max was looking at those corruption energy monsters. It really seemed like he wanted to dig into them and study them…

After summoning these corruption energy monsters, Dorothy waved her hand and said, “Teach the bad ones a lesson.”

The corruption energy monsters that she summoned understood her order and charged at the corruption energy monsters that were in front of us.

Those corruption energy monsters were surprised to see that there were fellow corruption energy monsters, but it didn’t seem like they were planning to do anything to them.

It seemed like they thought that these corruption energy monsters were allies.

But in the end, they were attacked by these corruption energy monsters that Dorothy summoned.

Corruption energy monsters were creatures that moved on instincts to begin with, so their instincts kicked in the moment that they were attacked. It wasn’t as if they would just allow themselves to be attacked without retaliating at all.

Though it certainly was a strange scene seeing the corruption energy monsters fighting each other like this.

With the way that they looked at the corruption energy monsters that Dorothy summoned, It even seemed like the corruption energy monsters that were being attacked were asking, “Aren’t we on the same side?”

It didn’t take long for Dorothy’s controlled corruption energy monsters to take down the other ones.

After all, one side was moving with coordination and the other side was just moving at random.

It really didn’t seem like they would be able to match the corruption energy monsters that Dorothy summoned at all with instincts alone.

In no time at all, they were beaten down.

After they were beaten down, the corruption energy monsters that Dorothy controlled seemed to absorb the corruption energy that these corruption energy monsters were made of.

I didn’t say anything during this since I wanted to see what would happen after the corruption energy monster that Dorothy summoned absorbed those other corruption energy monsters.

Once those other corruption energy monsters were gone, the one under Dorothy’s control turned around and looked at her before slowly coming over.

I couldn’t help gathering my divine energy just in case something happened.

But in the end, it seemed like I was underestimating Dorothy.

When they came over, they took out balls of corruption energy that they seemed to hand over to Dorothy.

It wasn’t hard to tell that these had to be the corruption energy that they absorbed from the other corruption energy monsters.

It was as if she was the queen bee and they were the worker bees that gathered nectar for her…
