Chapter 1898: Easily recruited
Once Dorothy realized the change that came over her, she didn’t waste any time in testing that change.

The first thing that she did was use that corruption energy to summon something.

In the past, she would need a sample of corruption energy to actually summon one of these corruption energy monsters. But this time, it seemed like she was able to control the corruption energy that naturally came from her to create this corruption energy monster.

Though the one thing that came to mind was…

“Small, this thing really is small.”

It wasn’t the same size as the other corruption energy monster that she created, but it was still without a doubt a corruption energy monster. It seemed like she wasn’t able to draw out enough to form a proper monster with how small it was.

But the fact that she no longer needed external corruption energy was a worrying thing…

The summoning seemed to come from the corruption energy that was naturally coming out of her, even though it should have been suppressed.

After observing for a bit, I finally started to understand what it was.

It seemed that before this, the corruption energy that had been inside of her had been a bit too intense. It was a bit too strong that she wasn’t able to control it properly, which was why she couldn’t use it like this.

But now that it had been suppressed, it was as if there was some kind of cover that had been placed on the corruption energy that was inside of Dorothy.

Though if it was just a cover, then it would have boiled over and exploded eventually. It wasn’t as if this corruption energy inside of her could have been contained forever just by covering it up.

The miracle healer naturally knew this as well, which was why he must have created a gap in the suppressive net. Or it was better to say that this was the reason why it had been a net in the first place.

There was still corruption energy that could escape, but it wasn’t as wild as it was before.

Since it was no longer as wild as it was before, that meant that she was able to control it much more smoothly and pull out more of that corruption energy.

So that was why it seemed like she was stronger even though she had technically become weaker.

The only reason that she wasn’t able to use that power before was because it was out of her control since it had been so wild.

Though if she really wanted to use that power, it wasn’t as if she couldn’t have used that power. It was just that if she had, she would have completely lost control of herself and have become a slave to the corruption energy.

Right now, she was in a position where she was able to take control of this corruption energy.

As expected, this miracle healer really was quite the talent.

“Do you want to come with me?” I asked him all of a sudden.

The miracle worker didn’t seem like he was listening to me when I said this as his eyes were on Dorothy still.

But in the end, I raised my hand and gathered the divine energy that pulled his attention back.

That was when I asked the same question as before.

“Why would I do that? If I come with you, would I still be able to do whatever I want?” The miracle healer said with a snort that made his position clear.

But I wasn’t bothered by this as I said, “You’ve seen her condition right? This isn’t something that is happening to her alone, this is something that is happening all over the continent. It’s a problem that all races face and we need someone like you to help us solve this.”

The miracle healer narrowed his eyes when he heard this, but it didn’t seem like he was completely convinced yet.

So I added, “I’ll give you as much budget as you want to study this thing. I’m sure that it must be hard to obtain the things that you need to do your research.”

“And who are you to give me that?”

I started explaining who I was, but then I realized that it wouldn’t really mean anything to him since he was someone that locked himself up in this place.

“You’re really the king of the Kite Kingdom?” The miracle healer said in a surprised voice.

Though I was more surprised since it seemed like he recognized me.

I didn’t know why he would know who I was, but at least this made things simpler.

“I am. That’s why I can give you all the funding that you need.”

Though it wasn’t as if I would be the only one that was providing this funding.

After all, his research would without a doubt be something that would help the entire continent.

So the entire racial alliance would be paying for this, not just the Kite Kingdom.

Lin Fan was certain that he would be able to get that money from them.

Though it seemed like the miracle healer was still hesitating a bit.

“I’ll let you study him.” I said while raising Zeldir who came with us.

Zeldir clearly seemed unhappy when I said this, but I just ignored the way that he looked at me as I raised him up for the miracle healer to see.

“Deal!” He said without any hesitation.

It almost seemed too easy with how he had been recruited.

But the moment that we came, I had already seen the way that he looked at Zeldir. It was clear that there was something that the miracle healer had wanted from him, which was why I was able to convince him this easily.

If it was something that the miracle healer wanted, it could only be his own research.
