Chapter 1352: The Dark Master Base Battle!
“I get what you mean, but…” she looked around, before adding, “we can’t leave them now or else they’ll hit your beloved girl and her master force!”

“Yes, that’s why I’m thinking of leaving you behind,” it was William’s turn to show such a playful expression on his face, the same she kept showing up since the battle started.

“That’s not fair!” she puffed her cheeks, but William didn’t mind what she said.

“Do you think I gave you all these arrows for nothing? Hehehe!” he was feeling amused by her reaction, before he started moving like an arrow, heading towards one direction, “I won’t be able to get in touch with you when I’m down there. Make sure to kill to your heart’s content and enjoy yourself to the fullest!”

“Screw you!” She knew this was the best approach the two could take in this situation. Yet watching him make the decision for her in such a way was more like framing her with this plan, not taking her opinion into his consideration at all!

“I hate men who are full of themselves like that!!” she was enraged by his actions, and for the first time ever since this battle started, she began to seriously fight!

She vented her rage upon the dark masters around! William fought his way towards an entrance to the underground base, while finally taking a look at what she was doing.

“I don’t know why I’m feeling this bad for those dark masters,” he couldn’t help but shake his head in a helpless way, before dashing into the tunnel, “but they are dark masters, those scumbags deserve anything happening to them!”

The tunnel wasn’t that long, and in mere minutes, William finally broke into the underground base.

“It’s indeed a massive one! Don’t tell me they built it under the entire mountainous area!” He was startled when his spirit sense couldn’t cover the entire underground base. From what he saw, there were lots of forces inside the base, with tons of rooms, weapons, and supplies stored there.

“This is indeed a big base, one that operates over lots of dark masters bases in the region,” he couldn’t help but mutter these words when his spirit sense didn’t find an end for this base, “time to put an end to the dirty history of those bastards!”

The first thing he did was to brutally announce his presence using his explosive arrows. Tons of explosions erupted, sweeping away lots of dark masters without giving them any chance to fight back or even run away with their lives.

The second thing he did was to thoroughly check the base, trying to pinpoint where the big meeting and planning rooms were, trying to locate where the big leaders were.

At first, everything looked messy in his spirit sense. There were lots of dark masters running amok everywhere. Yet when he spent an hour down there, fighting his way around, he finally could tell heads and tails about that base.

“No matter how they build massive bases, the most important places are always placed in the centre,” he spotted lots of signs pointing at places he was looking for.

There were many rooms with tight defences and many masters standing on their doors to prevent anyone from trespassing. As for the big shots in the base, it was easy to spot them considering the huge number of dark masters surrounding them, listening to their orders, or bringing forth updated intel from the battlefield!

William didn’t target any of these places at first. They were deeply located in the base, away from his current spot. Not to mention he would end up getting surrounded by tons of enemies if he forced his way through.

The best approach was to kite down the enemy forces from outside, chiming the dark masters like peeling an onion.

Once settled on the right tactic to use, once he marked the most important places and targets, William started to focus entirely on fighting and killing.

He was like an unstoppable killing machine! No matter where he went, no matter who stood in his path, all he left behind was a long trail of dead bodies and tons of deadly explosions!

At some point, the dark master leaders focused mainly on stopping him! From time to time, he would face a large number of enemies, waiting for him while using different defencive arrays and even medium-sized formations!

Yet none worked against him or his deadly arrows! The fact that all of his arrows were made out of ores from the outer realm was enough to break down any defences, no matter how strong they were!

He knew the more he killed, the more he would face such tight spots. As he was taking a longer time in following this approach, he knew the enemy would start fortifying lots of places, especially the central region that he never targeted.

Yet he didn’t mind any of that. He knew even if the enemies pulled some sort of strong defences to stop his deadly arrows, they wouldn’t stop his techniques!

So, he kept going forth on this plan, while hoping things up there were going as he intended.

In fact, the battle on the surface was going way better than he even hoped for! The main turning point was when the dark master leaders decided to put most of their focus over stopping William at the underground base!

That led to most of the constant reinforcements that kept pouring non-stop in the past few hours to halt! Becky didn’t know what William did, but she was sure the sudden stop of the enemy influx was linked to whatever he did down there.

“At least he gave me a helping hand,” realising that the enemy reinforcements stopped made her heave a sigh of relief. Even if she was using deadly arrows, even if she was nimbly moving around, copy pasting how William fought earlier, it was still super tiring on her!
