Chapter 1350: Dark Masters’ Attack!
“If the dark masters appeared now, things would change dramatically for them,” she turned to look at William, who was madly producing tons of arrows without taking a moment of rest, “and you are waiting for such a moment, to interfere and save them.”

“Bingo!” William muttered, before adding, “if you have time to breathe, why not help in melting down more ores? I have lots of yet to be processed ores, want some ovens?”

“I have what I need,” Becky rolled her eyes, “can’t you get satisfied by what you are doing? I can tell you made tens of thousands of these arrows!”

“Barely enough,” he coughed, before adding, “not even close!”

“Fine!” she shrugged, “as if I have anything else to do anyway. Your working speed in handling the cleansed ores is slow anyway, let me help then.”

“Want ores?” He didn’t even spare her a glance, didn’t even take out any rings to give her.

“Bastard!” she knew he wasn’t offering, but asking her to use what she had, “I’ll do with what I have then, thanks for nothing!”

William grinned without saying anything. And like this, the two of them got immersed in making tons of arrows, while bidding their time for the right moment to intervene.

From time to time, Sara and her masters would try to regroup, yet the monsters would always outsmart them, blocking any path for them to do so.

Then all of sudden, it felt like Sara gave up on this area, and decided to retreat. William and Becky saw the masters moving in tacit arrangement, retreating back, trying to leave the entire area and regroup outside.

“Get ready,” Becky suddenly said, stopping what she was doing, “I think this is the right moment for these bastards to make a move.”

“I agree,” William stopped working, took the last batch of arrows he assembled into a ring, before tossing it to Becky, “there is a good bow in there, you know how to use bows, right?”

“Any decent master knows,” she raised an eyebrow, “but what is this sudden generosity for?!”

“I always support my comrades,” William acted innocent, showing a fake hurt expression over his face, one that made Becky laugh.

“Stop it!” she inspected the ring, before her face beamed with a smile, “you gave me tens of thousands of arrows, that’s really kind!”

“There is a movement out there,” William’s face showed a serious look on it, “let’s get moving, they’ll need our help!”

He didn’t need to warn her, as Becky already spotted the small number of masters coming from the mountains and hills at the border zone of this area.

Without the need to ask, they were the long-awaited dark masters the two were waiting for. And as Wiliam took away his gears and materials, before they would start moving towards that area, the number of masters grew at an alarming rate.

They started to form some sort of human wall, cutting the retreat path over Sara and her masters. To anyone watching this, it was clear how hard and deadly the situation Sara and her faction was facing!

From one side, they were chased by relentless and brutal mutated monsters. And from the rear, a large group of unidentified masters appeared, blocking their path of retreat.

The deadliest thing in this situation wasn’t any of these two sides, but confusion. The unexpected appearance of that large group of masters in the middle of this hectic battlefield would leave behind tons of doubt inside any master.

In such a situation, having a moment of doubt would cost any master a lot! That was why the moment William moved out, he sent a single warning message over to Sara.

[If you didn’t get it by now, then let me tell you; I’m here! As for those in the rear, they are dark masters!] he simply sent this overusing spirit telepathy, while running as fast as he could with Becky on his side.

[I saw you working on something, so thought you were preparing something big for us] Sara’s voice rang in his mind, [yet… Dark masters?! Were you waiting all this time for them to appear?!!]

[I needed to lure them out first, don’t blame me for that!] he apologetically said, while he kept scanning the area up front, looking for the most ideal spot to start the massacre at.

[Never mind, it’s best for the bait to not know about the role until the right moment… Yet, what do you want us to do? I see you and that girl from the upper realm is the only masters coming from outside!]

[Keep retreating!] William gave this order without flinching, [When you cross halfway to these dark masters, stop, build two lines of defence, and hold your position against the enemies coming at you!]

Sara sounded like she was surprised by his words. [You want us to keep playing the bait? Don’t you need any help against those dark masters?!!] She couldn’t understand why he took such an approach.

[Two masters won’t attract any attention!] William simply responded by this and didn’t explain anything else. He was already close enough from the mountains and hills lining that area, and it was the time for him and Becky to announce their arrival.

“Seeing you are busy chatting with forces entrapped inside,” seeing him taking out two bows made Becky speak up her mind, “what’s the plan? Will they come over and help us?”

“Nope,” William pointed to a direction, “there aren’t many dark masters there, let’s break through them at that point.”

“Wait a minute! How come they won’t help?! This isn’t fair!!” She tried to stop him, but it was pointless. William dashed fast, starting a series of long dashes, without even sparring her a glance.

Before she would know it, William already jumped and climbed one hill. Mountains in this area weren’t that tall, and yet he picked a hill as the first target.

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*
