1304: Where Is The Den?!!!

1304: Where Is The Den?!!!

Fang pointed at the den while Sloth sighed, recalling the scary experience he had when he tried to take the last two Chimeras down with Fang and other strong masters.

“We can’t let that thing gush out more Chimeras,” Sloth paused, feeling a little hesitant before adding, “do you know of a way to… Do something like… Move this den, and take it out with you?” “Man, if he had a way, he would have used it already…” “Sure, I’ll take it away,” before Fang would continue his words, William simply said before throwing the weird looking ball in his hand, “I’ve taken it away, see?

Happy now?” The moment he threw that ball, he felt like he was just throwing it casually, but the ball got attracted to the den like a needle to a magnet.

The ball hit the den, smashed into small pieces like glass hitting a rock.  The two strong masters watched the ball smashing into small parts, then the small parts got attracted again towards the den, before getting smashed into much smaller pieces!

The process repeated itself for a few minutes.

And under the watchful gazes of the masters here, even under the keen spirit sense of Sloth and Fang, the smashed pieces vanished.

And with it, a flash of bright light appeared, one that was strong enough to blind even the strongest masters and spirit senses.

“…” The two old men looked at the empty space where the den was.

The den was gone, and before anyone would say anything, William leisurely walked towards the den location, grabbed something from the ground, before turning to grab the deadly bomb, then walked away from this area.

“Where are you going?” Sloth suddenly woke up from the depth of his amazement, “and where is the den?” “I took it away as you wanted,” William stopped, turned to look at Sloth while putting on an innocent puzzled expression on his face, “didn’t you want it gone?” “You…” Sloth couldn’t say anything back to him.

Just thinking about that den of scary flying monsters falling in the hands of the Fox Guild made him want to snatch that thing off William’s and bring it back with him to the king.

But he still didn’t know how William did it, or where he hid that den.

He didn’t know if William had any control over the den or not.

He didn’t know anything and couldn’t find a way to ask.

“I’ll leave everything here for you two,” William resisted the urge to laugh at Sloth’s funny expression, “make sure to wait for my signal.

We’ll need to work on this place, fortify everything here.

So make sure to have the upper hand and finish the war for good before I come back.” “You…” Fang stopped Sloth from continuing what he wanted to say, “he knew war can’t end this easily.

But we need to have control over the course of war till he returns, that is something we need to secure for the plan to succeed.” “Which is?” Sloth looked at Fang as if he was looking at a crazy old man.

“We need to fortify the portal area here, so the bomb wouldn’t reach us.

So, we need to work on every corner in this place… I thought this point was easy to guess, right?” “…” Sloth stopped his argument at this point and just watched William who kept walking towards the exit from this place without looking back for even once.

Sloth and Fang then turned to handle the ongoing war here, organising the masters, putting plans, and intervening if the situation required.

William didn’t simply leave without doing nothing.

The moment he walked away from Fang and Sloth, he started to spread his spirit sense and analyse the entire situation.

His friends were indeed at the forefront of the entire war.

He didn’t know what happened to let them move to such dangerous spots, but so far they were doing just fine.

Even if they were fighting against formidable enemies, those enemies were lacking in numbers, were lacking in leadership, were even lacking in morale.

All this helped William’s friends to have the upper hand in most confrontations.

Rarely the situation required the assistance of a stronger spirit master, someone of Sloth and Fang calibre.

And those masters never delayed in stepping in to help.

After fighting for all this time in this war, the strong masters list shrunk by a great deal.

Still there were many masters around, and they were too exhausted after fighting on the frontline for all this time.

All this changed the moment the Fox Guild stepped up and took the responsibility of the frontline.

This gave those stronger and older masters a chance to recuperate.

At the same time, the stronger masters also looked in amazement towards how well those youngsters performed!

When they saw the Fox Guild young masters stepping up, no one of the older generation trusted their ability to hold the line.

But after an hour, it was clear to anyone that those youngsters could do it!

William saw lots of the formations he taught his friends and top guild masters being used to hold the frontline.

He also spotted grenades, landmines, and even his arrows, the early version before he upgraded it.

Seeing all this made him smile in content.

His training and the long experience he gave to his friends weren’t wasted.

On top of that, he loved how they acted without his orders.

They examined the situation, adapted to the stressing needs, put a plan and executed it to secure their victory.

At this moment he felt like a real master watching his disciples mature after a long time of hard training and pure dedication.

“I hope my instructions will help you evolve more,” William didn’t give random comments, but focused more on giving directions towards future development of this war.

William knew the enemies wouldn’t pose much threat, not unless a huge development would occur, something like sending a new leader to the army or using a deadly weapon.
