1302: Fang’s Timely Help 1302: Fang’s Timely Help Sloth wasn’t the problem, the Chimeras were!

And to add more to their troubles, that encirclement was formed of masters showing their backs to the direction Sloth and Chimeras were coming from.

In other words, if the Chimeras reached that side, it’d be a one-way slaughter.

And Sloth would end up having what he wanted!

Seeing how crazy the enemy started to respond, Sloth evilly smirked.

[Tell me you are free to help me now] as he ran out of options, he had to lean once again on Fang.

[This soon already?!] Fang acted surprised, making Sloth want to punch him in the face.

[I gave you an hour!

Isn’t it enough!!] Sloth wanted to shout back, but he had no room to even turn his head towards Fang’s direction!

[Ok, give me a few more minutes…] [Now!

Do it now or I’ll die!] Sloth shouted on the top of his lungs.

There was no hope for him, but Fang intervened.

And before he’d continue his words, bolts of lightning rained hell on the heads of his enemies!

[Relax, I was just looking for those bastards who gave you all this trouble] Fang voice rang in Sloth’s mind while the enemies around him were getting rammed heavily by lightning.

When Sloth looked around using his spirit sense, he could see lightning arcs hitting different spots away from here.

“Those bastards… They are the ones who gave me all this trouble earlier!”  It was obvious what Fang did.

He wasn’t delayed for nothing; he waited all this time to dig out the ones giving orders and orchestrating the attacks on Sloth.  [Thanks man, I owe you one] a minute didn’t pass, and Sloth felt the sudden decline in the attack intensity.

The attacks that rained down like there was never tomorrow, ended up to be sporadic and lacked accuracy.

“Now I can do like that kid used to,” Sloth laughed as he knew there was no one to stop him now.

And as Fang gave him such a golden chance, he didn’t intend to throw it away or waste a single second.

As a cheetah, he started jumping and moving around as fast as he could, while throwing a few attacks from time to time towards the Chimeras.

“That’s it,” from far behind, Fang watched the increasing pace of Sloth, “keep it up, breach through them and bring back more masters to help.” He kept an eye over Sloth, just in case another tight spot emerged and needed his help.

Luckily such a situation didn’t happen again, and it was all thanks to Fang.

Fang didn’t know that he targeted not just the ones who kept giving Sloth a hard time, but literally most of the enemy remaining higher-ups in the entire war.

That single move didn’t just impact this area, but without realising it, Fang already affected the entire war zone.

That was why the intensity of fights everywhere started to heat up in favour of this world’s masters.

With lack of proper orders and instructions, the enemy masters had to rely on their instincts and experience, a thing that didn’t give them any advantage at all.

That made their responses sluggish for any sudden moves, like how they couldn’t rearrange their lines properly to stop the unstoppable Sloth and Chimeras.

That also explained how they couldn’t respond to William’s friends attempts to penetrate through the encirclement and reach to where William was.

All of sudden the situation flipped again.

And this time, Sloth, Fang, William’s friends, and other top tier masters made everything in their powers to keep it this way!

“Follow me!” The moment Sloth passed through the tight enemy lines, he gave the order to this world’s masters to follow him.

At the same time, he made sure he’d wreak more havoc at the disarrayed enemy forces, by driving Chimeras towards them.

Sloth needed five hours to pass through the enemy lines, and during which one Chimera fell, and the other two didn’t look any better.

That wasn’t bad news for Sloth, as he kept thinking how to deal with these behemoths after getting rid of the enemies here.

“The main problem is in that damned den,” he muttered to himself, while recalling William’s plan.

And he felt lucky to have William work here, or else they’d have to deal with a growing number of these scary beasts.

“Don’t stop moving forward,” as he expanded the gap to a good distance, he started to give orders to masters coming to their aid, “press forward, push the enemy back, and get to where Fang and William are!” “Aren’t you coming with us?” Someone shouted, and without turning to see who, Sloth kept moving towards any large group of enemies he could find.

“I won’t,” he muttered to himself, while returning to feel more pressure, “I need to keep those things occupied, best to kill more enemies using their help.” Sloth started to play William’s role, chopping more enemies with time passing.

At the same time, reinforcements started to pour into Fang’s direction, making the latter heave a sigh of relief.

“At last,” Fang looked around till he found Sloth, “and that old man still has some conscience in him.

I feared he’d just bring the Chimeras here to kill them, but luckily, he has better foresight than I expected.” As things started to look good at last, Fang left the task of handling the enemies to the fresh masters and focused over what William was doing.

After all these hours, what Fang saw was the same.

William was flashing fast, creating afterimages, while doing multiple tasks at the same time.

“I thought after all this time, I’d find lots of items laying around William.

But… Has he stored the things he made already into rings?” This was the only explanation he’d found, and yet it still felt remarkable.

William had to work in such a hectic way for hours and stored what he produced into rings.

He didn’t want any stray attack to hit his precious formation cores, or worse for the enemies to take notice of what he was doing here.
