Chapter 311: GAINING EXPERIENCE FROM BATTLE
“So? What exactly are you asking me to do, old man?” Aaron asked attentively, his frustration giving way to curiosity.

“To go and fight like you do best. But you can only attack with time and space at the same time,” Dracula instructed firmly. His voice carried the authority of ages, his robe’s hem brushing the ground as he gestured toward the horizon.

“Uhm. Don’t tell me you didn’t see what happened just now, Great Gramps. I couldn’t attack with both abilities at the same time,” Aaron complained, his tone laced with exasperation.

He gestured at the empty air where his failed attack had dissipated, the sanctuary’s serene beauty mocking his struggles.

“I’m aware. It’s good you are durable and immortal. Should reduce the risk of your actions. Sometimes, Aaron, you have to take a good beating in order to learn something,” Dracula said like it was the most normal thing he could ever utter.

His expression remained stoic, his crimson eyes unblinking amid the vast, starry backdrop.

Aaron stared at Dracula speechlessly, his hollow sockets widening in disbelief. The platform felt colder suddenly, the weight of the instruction sinking in like lead.

“You want me to go take a beating? What happened about keeping the pride of the Highborns?” Aaron asked, dissatisfied by Dracula’s decision.

His voice echoed with indignation, his skeletal hands clenching into fists at his sides.

“Of course you have to keep the pride of the Highborns. If anyone lives to tell the tale of giving you a beating, then you will receive another one from me,” Dracula warned coldly, his eyes narrowing to slits.

The seriousness in his gaze was unmistakable, the air around him growing denser with unspoken threat.

Aaron stared at Dracula speechlessly once more, unable to believe the thick skin of the man before him. The sanctuary’s endless expanse seemed to mock the absurdity, stars twinkling like distant laughter.

“What if I face an opponent I can’t defeat without going all out?”

“Then you better not meet someone you can’t defeat. I will not listen to excuses for failure,” Dracula warned sternly, his posture unyielding like ancient stone.

Aaron stared at Dracula speechlessly yet again, grumbling inwardly at the impossible standards.

The vast amphitheater felt even lonelier, the silence pressing in like a judgmental audience.

Aaron acknowledged Dracula’s demand in the end, nodding reluctantly. The weight of the task settled over him like a heavy cloak, his skeletal form straightening with resolve.

But before carrying out the instruction of Dracula, he decided to wrap up some unfinished business.

Using his omnipotence within the realm, Aaron sent a transmission to every capable fighter across the sanctuary.

His voice resonated through minds and speakers alike, clear and commanding, echoing in halls and across planets.

“War has been declared upon me by two foes that seek my fall. But as your Emperor, I will not cower or lose before my enemies, but meet them head-on and claim victory.”

His words carried the weight of sovereignty, stirring hearts with their unyielding tone. The sanctuary’s stars seemed to brighten, as if aligning with his declaration.

“But I do not wish to fight this battle all by myself. I’m giving you all a chance. Soon, clones of mine will open portals to the enemy’s galaxy and those around us. We are beginning a full-blown conquest!” Aaron finished, his voice thundering with finality.

Aaron’s proclamation filled the majority of Athanys citizens with a surging sense of thrill and excitement.

The call to arms ignited dormant spirits, the promise of battle breaking the monotony of peace.

The thought of war excited them, who had endured constant days of tranquility and routine daily activities.

Planets buzzed with preparation, weapons being sharpened under glowing skies.

“Finally. I was beginning to wonder when I would be having a nice battle,” Michael smiled, welcoming the chance for a fight with open arms. His eyes gleamed with anticipation, his form already tensing in readiness amid the sanctuary’s vast halls.

Just like Michael, every citizen shared the same thrill for the coming battle.

The air in the sanctuary hummed with anticipation, a palpable energy that crackled like static electricity, fueling their resolve for the inevitable clash.

Aaron instructed his clones to move toward separate galaxies for conquest, his voice steady and commanding amid the vast, echoing chambers of their hidden realm.

While they dispersed to claim new territories, he turned his focus inward, centering himself on the immediate task that demanded his full attention.

Each clone was to open a rift linking the sanctuary to the galaxy they had reached.

The process required precision, a delicate weave of spatial magic that shimmered like fractured glass in the dim light.

With the instructions given, each clone set off to accomplish their task.

They vanished one by one through swirling portals, leaving faint trails of ethereal energy that lingered in the air like fading smoke.

Aaron, adorning his dark cloak over his porcelain-flawless skin, felt the fabric’s cool weight settle against his body like a second shadow.

He raised his hand, channeling his power, and opened a rift to the galaxy.

The portal tore open with a low, resonant hum, revealing stars that twinkled coldly on the other side.

Aaron arrived at the galaxy. The sudden shift in gravity tugged at him lightly, and the distant hum of engines filled his ears as he oriented himself in the void.

To his surprise, the galaxy was bustling with military operations.

Massive fleets of spaceships cut through the starry expanse, their metallic hulls gleaming under artificial lights, casting long shadows across nearby asteroids.

Spaceships patrolled the galaxy everywhere, their thrusters emitting faint blue glows that trailed like comet tails.

The sheer scale of the activity sent vibrations through the vacuum, a silent symphony of organized chaos.

Sentinels and strongholds were being established, fortified structures rising from planetary surfaces with beams of energy anchoring them in place.

Forces shuttled around the galaxy, transports weaving between formations like insects in a hive, their movements precise and relentless.

“Might as well reduce the numbers of my enemies while training,” Aaron thought to himself.

A sly grin tugged at his lips as he surveyed the scene, the thrill of impending action quickening his pulse.

He held the black sphere tightly, its smooth surface cool against his palm, pulsing faintly with contained power.

Focusing on the task given, he scanned the horizon for an opportunity, his mind sharpening like a blade.

He picked out a sentinel with considerably weak foes, the perfect choice for his practice.
