Chapter 303: PLANS BEHIND THE CURTAIN
“Ha. You plan to depend on a blade that’s nowhere to be found to deal with potential enemies? Interesting to know,” King mocked subtly, his words laced with dry amusement. He raised an eyebrow, leaning forward slightly to meet Chen Ye’s intensity.

“That’s the reason our priority should be getting that blade back,” Chen Ye yelled, his frustration boiling over. He slammed a fist on the table, the wood vibrating under the impact, shards from the broken cup scattering further.

“Good luck getting it. Let me know when you have decided to take this a bit more seriously. I will be waiting at the accommodation you provided to me, or I might just be gone and allow you guys to fend off how to deal with the unnecessary situation all by yourself,” King explained, his tone firm and unyielding. He rose to his feet once more, waving his hands at the duo in a casual farewell gesture, the motion light and dismissive.

King arrived at the villa provided for him by Chen Ye, though grudgingly, as a temporary stay.

The building stood elegant and secluded, its walls adorned with intricate carvings that glowed faintly in the dim light, surrounded by manicured gardens that whispered in the gentle breeze.

Taking a deep breath to steady himself, he collapsed onto a plush sofa after ensuring he was not being watched.

The cushions sank under his weight, enveloping him in soft comfort, the room’s serene ambiance a stark contrast to the tension he had left behind.

“You look exhausted. How stressful must the task be?” A voice was transmitted to King through his very own shadow, emerging like a whisper from the darkness pooling at his feet.

The shadow rippled faintly, as if alive, carrying the words with an intimate, ethereal quality that filled the quiet villa.

“Emperor,” King responded respectfully toward the bearer of the voice.

He sat up slightly on the plush sofa, his posture straightening instinctively, the soft cushions shifting beneath him as he acknowledged the presence hidden in the shadows.

“It’s alright. We can speak freely. I have isolated the space around us. No one will be able to pick up or sense our presence,” Aaron explained, his voice emerging smoothly from within King’s shadow. The isolation wrapped around them like an invisible veil, muffling the outside world and turning the room into a secluded bubble of secrecy.

“Won’t that raise suspicions with my mana signature gone?”

“Nope. I have taken care of that part. Your signature still remains, albeit the only one,” Aaron assured King.

The words carried a confident tone, the emperor’s mastery over such manipulations evident in the seamless execution, leaving no trace of alteration in the ether.

“So? Were you able to convince them?” Aaron inquired, his voice shifting to a more strategic edge.

He was already laying the groundwork for the next course of action, his mind several steps ahead in the intricate game they played.

“Not quite. But I’m close. One of them proves quite difficult to influence. And he’s the one that has the final say.” King leaned back again, rubbing his temples lightly, the exhaustion from the day’s verbal sparring evident in his weary expression.

“Alright. Try your best to convince them. If possible, they should seek assistance from the other cultivators. We can move to the next phase afterward,” Aaron informed King. The instructions were clear and precise, outlining the path forward with the emperor’s characteristic foresight.

King nodded his head in acceptance, fully understanding the task he had been provided. His eyes narrowed slightly, mentally mapping out his next moves amid the villa’s serene quiet, the weight of the mission settling over him like a familiar cloak.

Aaron left the shadow of King afterward, withdrawing his presence smoothly. Everything returned to normal in an instant, the isolated space dissolving without a ripple, leaving King alone in the dimly lit room once more.

Back in the sanctuary, following the system’s advice, Aaron merged the multiverse of Primordial Terra and Primordial flames into his continuum. The process unfolded with a deep, resonant vibration that echoed through the vast expanse, leading to even further expansion that stretched the boundaries like an ever-unfolding tapestry of creation.

It led to the birth of terrestrial planets not easily broken down, their surfaces forged from unyielding rock that resisted cosmic forces with stoic endurance. Vast landscapes formed, mountains rising like eternal sentinels, valleys carving deep with resilient stone that defied erosion and time.

The merger also sparked the birth of celestial stars always burning intensely, their cores ignited with flames that roared in perpetual fury. These stars blazed with unquenchable light, casting radiant glows across newly formed voids, their heat forging nebulae into vibrant cradles of life.

As well as strengthening the continuum overall, the fusion wove threads of flame and earth into its fabric, making the entire structure more robust. Timelines intertwined with greater stability, universes pulsing with enhanced vitality that promised endless growth and unbreakable harmony.

Aaron carried out some tests with Norton afterward, channeling the essence through various feats. He summoned shadows that danced with fiery edges, bending space with earthen solidity, noticing the increased strength of the essence in every application.

Utilizing Norton, he could portray strength similar to a pseudo-galactic rank. His commands carried cosmic scale, shattering test barriers with effortless might, the essence amplifying his will to levels that warped reality around him like a gravitational pull.

Aaron spent some time bonding with his family and friends, cherishing the quiet moments amid the sanctuary’s serene beauty. Laughter filled warm halls, stories shared under glowing skies, rekindling deep connections that grounded his vast ambitions in simple joys.

Before returning to the conquest of nebulas, he ensured all was well within his domain. Each day thereafter, Aaron conquered a nebula, his presence descending like an inevitable shadow across the stars, claiming vast clouds of gas and dust with unyielding resolve.

And each time he did it, he performed some interesting actions. He created several clones in great numbers, their forms multiplying like echoes in a void, each one a perfect replica pulsing with his essence and intent.
