Chapter 641: Chapter641-Daniel’s Plan
Daniel had originally believed that Inner God Daniel would be completely erased.

After all, the destruction of Backworld should have marked the absolute end of that existence. An Inner God who lost his foundation, his world, and his ascension path should not have been able to persist in any meaningful form.

Yet reality proved otherwise.

From what Daniel could now tell, Inner God Daniel’s consciousness had not vanished at all. Instead, it was continuing to manifest—surviving in another form.

And as if to confirm that realization—

Another avatar of Inner God Daniel suddenly appeared behind him.

There was no warning.

No spatial ripple.

No energy fluctuation.

No prelude of any kind.

In the very next instant, a streak of black sword light materialized behind Daniel, thrusting straight toward his back, aiming directly for his heart.

This strike was several times faster than the previous attack.

Its power was also far more concentrated—compressed, refined, and sharpened to an extreme degree.

Yet Daniel reacted as though he had eyes on the back of his head.

He did not turn around.

He merely shifted his position sideways by a single step.

Rip—!

The sword light grazed past him, slicing through the edge of the time-space tunnel. A corner of the luminous passage was severed, and violent void turbulence rushed in—but before it could expand, the tunnel’s own radiant structure repaired itself instantly.

“Good speed,”

Daniel commented calmly as he turned around to face the reappearing Inner God Daniel.

“But still too slow. This isn’t the strength you should have.”

Inner God Daniel’s face twisted with rage.

His expression contorted, veins bulging as he raised the [Destruction Blade] once more.

“Then let me show you what true power really is!”

He roared.

This time, he abandoned all technique, all finesse, all restraint.

He poured everything he had into the blade.

A massive, jet-black beam of destruction erupted forth, thick as a collapsing mountain range, slamming toward Daniel like the wrath of a dying universe.

Wherever the beam passed, the entire time-space tunnel shook violently, trembling as if it might collapse at any moment.

Faced with this world-ending attack—

Daniel still only raised one hand.

His palm opened.

Within it, a vortex composed of countless rotating runes appeared out of thin air, layered upon one another in impossibly complex patterns.

The black beam slammed into the vortex.

There was no sound.

No explosion.

Like a clay ox sinking into the sea, the attack vanished completely, swallowed whole without leaving even a ripple behind.

In the next instant, the vortex reversed its rotation.

A black beam—just as massive, just as terrifying—was reflected back at a speed far greater than its original trajectory.

BOOM—!

Once again, the avatar of Inner God Daniel failed to evade.

The terrifying energy struck him directly.

His body disintegrated layer by layer within the beam, dissolving into nothingness until not even a trace remained.

Gone.

Just like that.

Had Crossbridge truly defeated that terrifying being so easily?

Faer, Aurelia, and the other gods stared at the scene, stunned beyond words.

The Inner God Daniel who had seemed so invincible moments ago—was gone in an instant?

Daniel gazed at the spot where the avatar had vanished.

His brows furrowed.

“No… still too easy.”

He could feel it.

Inner God Daniel should not have been this weak.

Moreover, although the interval between the two avatars’ appearances had been extremely short, their strength had increased noticeably.

Which meant—

Something was happening behind the scenes.

What exactly had Knowledge Daniel done?

What was he plotting?

Daniel closed his eyes.

His vast mind power surged as he pushed [Mental Deduction] to its absolute limit.

Countless images, fragments of information, causal chains, and branching possibilities flashed through his consciousness—like a film being fast-forwarded billions of times in a single heartbeat.

When Daniel opened his eyes again, an icy sense of danger rose from the depths of his soul.

He had seen a future.

A terrifying one.

A future in which Knowledge Daniel and Inner God Daniel fused—merging into an existence that surpassed even the concept of an Inner God.

An existence beyond known divine hierarchies.

Yet even after witnessing that possibility—

Daniel did not panic.

Instead, his concern shifted elsewhere.

Compared to himself, he was now far more worried about Faer and the others.

These ordinary gods would be completely useless in the coming conflict.

Worse still, they might be annihilated instantly—collateral casualties in a battle far beyond their level.

Having reached that conclusion, Daniel made a decision without hesitation.

“We have to leave. Now. Immediately.”

He turned toward Faer, Aurelia, and the other gods and activated his Divine Authority.

[Divine Authority I – Infinite Grant]

“I’m lending you my power.”

As his words fell, streams of golden light flew out from his body, embedding themselves into every god present.

“This is [Space-Time Traveler]. Use it. Follow me.”

Before Faer and the others could even react, they felt a strange new force awaken within their bodies—an unfamiliar sensation that made traversing time and space feel effortless.

“Why are we running?” someone shouted. “Didn’t you already kill him?”

“That was only a clone,” Daniel replied sharply. “The real trouble is coming.”

He offered no further explanation.

His body transformed into a streak of light as he shot deeper into the time-space tunnel.

“Move! We must accelerate!”

Although the gods were filled with questions, the unprecedented seriousness in Daniel’s expression made one thing clear—

This was not a situation where hesitation was acceptable.

They immediately activated the power they had just received.

Humm—!

In the next instant, every god’s speed increased by more than a thousandfold.

Their figures stretched into blurred streaks of light, instantly leaving their previous location far behind.

“This… this speed—!”

Aurelia stared at the rapidly reversing scenery around her, her face filled with disbelief.

“He can directly share his skills with us? And with such terrifying effectiveness?”

This ability completely shattered their understanding of Divine Authority.

After the initial shock, the gods began to relax.

At this speed, even if the real Inner God Daniel gave chase, he would be left eating dust.

At the rear of the group, the Luck Goddess Luke glanced back, ensuring there were no pursuers before shifting her gaze forward.

That was when she noticed something odd.

There was no tension on Daniel’s face.

No urgency.

No strain.

On the contrary—his expression was radiant with barely suppressed joy.

He looked… excited.

Luke felt a strange thought surface in her mind.

If they were truly fleeing for their lives, Crossbridge should not be wearing that expression.

Unless…

At the front of the group, Daniel was indeed exhilarated.

Running away?

No.

He was merely testing his Divine Authority.

And the results were obvious.

They exceeded his expectations by a tremendous margin.

Especially when he saw how much his old companions had grown in strength after receiving [Infinite Grant], Daniel could not stop the smile from spreading across his face.

It was now clear that his power had far surpassed that of ordinary gods.

Even against an Inner God, he might not be without a fighting chance.

Yet even so, Daniel had still not found the true upper limit of his strength.

With that thought in mind, he maintained their speed.

Under his guidance, the gods followed him—

All the way back to the ancient era.

This was the beginning of everything.

At the same time, Daniel linked his consciousness with the gods, briefly sharing fragments of his plans and intentions.

And as they traveled—

Daniel reached into his inventory space.

He retrieved a batch of specially modified Seed of the Planes, long prepared for this moment—

And prepared to distribute them to every god present.
