Chapter 587: Chapter587-Goodbye, Luna
Daniel shook his head to steady himself, finally adapting to the scene before him.

At that moment, a dazzling gold and silver radiance suddenly fell from the sky.

The next moment, Aurelia’s figure appeared in front of Daniel.

“Crossbridge!”

However, this time, Aurelia did not immediately act. It wasn’t because she didn’t want to, but because Isabella and Elizabeth, the two sisters, stood protectively in front of Daniel.

In the next instant, the domains of three gods unfolded simultaneously, with an unmistakable competitive aura between them.

Aurelia, on the other hand, hadn’t expected Isabella to be standing there. She smiled coldly and raised her hand, retracting her domain.

While Aurelia was extremely powerful, she wasn’t foolish. Taking on two opponents—Isabella and her sister—was virtually impossible for her to gain the upper hand in.

Furthermore, she knew well that with Daniel protected by Isabella and Elizabeth, there was no point in continuing her attack. So, she decided to abandon her offensive intentions.

After retracting her domain, Aurelia looked at Daniel with a playful glint in her eyes, and slowly spoke.

“Crossbridge, I didn’t expect you to be so capable, to have both of the Isabella sisters under your command. I imagine you must be quite satisfied with them?”

Daniel’s expression remained calm, unaffected by Aurelia’s words.

“Aurelia, I don’t think we’re quite that familiar.”

“And I believe you should be more aware than anyone else of what you did to me back then.”

As Daniel spoke, the other gods who had remained in the Godfall Battlefield arrived at the scene.

Aurelia’s reaction to Daniel’s words was notably calm. She looked at him, and the smile on her face disappeared without a trace.

“Crossbridge, to be honest, I don’t care whether you remember those things. No matter how you treat me, I’m simply following my own path.”

“Whether you choose to understand me or not, it won’t change anything. I won’t seek your forgiveness.”

“I heard that in the distant East, there’s a saying: ‘People on different paths should not walk together.’ Perhaps this saying suits the current situation. What do you think?”

At that moment, the atmosphere in the Godfall Battlefield grew tense.

Both Aurelia and Daniel understood each other’s unresolved conflict, one that neither would back down from. The grudges of the past seemed to be reaching their conclusion here.

But just as the tension thickened, a voice as clear and pleasant as wind chimes suddenly rang out.

“Aurelia, sister!”

“It’s been so long since we last met, hasn’t it?”

“I think, if we can, we should let go of the past grudges and become friends again!”

Isabella’s voice was soft and pleasant, and after speaking, she even extended her arm, as if ready to reconcile.

On her face, a gentle smile appeared, one that made her seem very approachable and pleasant.

However, Aurelia didn’t immediately respond.

She frowned, unsure of how to react. On the other hand, Daniel couldn’t help but show a strange expression on his face.

Activating the Eye of Insight, Daniel saw the effect of Isabella’s divine power.

[Isabella’s Divine Power — Enchanting Aura]

Effect: As long as a brief connection is made with the opponent, all their psychological defenses will crumble instantly. Even gods are not immune to this.

Seeing this, Daniel was momentarily stunned.

He hadn’t expected that Isabella’s divine power had already grown to such an extent.

To be honest, if Isabella truly went ahead with a friendly handshake with Aurelia now, it was likely that Aurelia would end up as Isabella’s puppet!

Daniel couldn’t help but gasp. They said the more beautiful a woman is, the more dangerous she is, and today, he had witnessed this first-hand.

Despite Isabella’s seemingly gentle exterior and her desire to resolve their differences, behind the scenes, she had already planned to turn Aurelia into her ally, only to cruelly dominate her afterward!

Indeed, it seemed that no one who became a god was ever soft-hearted!

On the other side, Aurelia was naturally not going to be swayed so easily by Isabella.

She snorted coldly and disappeared in a flash.

Isabella, however, didn’t seem at all embarrassed by Aurelia’s sudden departure. She looked as if nothing had happened and smiled gently.

“Looks like Aurelia is still as aloof as ever!”

“By the way, when she sealed me away back then, she was just as cold. Hasn’t Aurelia ever been comforted by a man’s warm embrace?”

“If not, that’s really sad for her!”

As soon as she said this, everyone, including Daniel, instinctively turned away.

Now that Isabella had reached godhood, her charm was so powerful that even gods could not fully resist it. Just her few simple words had made several gods feel a faint distaste for Aurelia.

While this effect could easily be dispelled with just a thought, it was still enough to demonstrate Isabella’s formidable power.

“Crossbridge, big brother!”

At that moment, a sweet voice called out in Daniel’s ear.

Before he could react, a cute little white rabbit jumped into his arms.

Daniel froze for a moment, then, seeing Luna, he gave her a big hug.

“Luna, it’s been so long! I can’t believe how much you’ve grown!”

Meanwhile, Faer, upon seeing Daniel, smiled faintly.

After a brief exchange of pleasantries with Luna, Daniel finally turned his attention to Faer.

“Faer, there’s something I need to discuss with you.”

“The devotee you left behind became a puppet of the inner gods and betrayed you, so I took care of him.”

As Daniel spoke, he shared the details of the encounter with Faer.

Faer’s smile vanished in an instant, his expression turning serious.

The next moment, his chestnut-colored curly hair seemed to catch fire, bursting into brilliant red flames.

“Thank you very much, Crossbridge-sama. If it hadn’t been for you, I believe he could have caused even more damage.”

“Although I cherished my student, once he chose to betray me, he deserved to be punished.”

“Thank you, Crossbridge-sama!”

For a betraying devotee, there was no need to waste much breath. Neither Daniel nor Faer cared much for such a trivial incident.
