Chapter 205: Fuck The Title
“Damn…” Lucius muttered as he kept spinning upward, the world turning into a messy blur of sky and wind.
If he weren’t used to getting launched like a ragdoll, he might have screamed.
Instead, he just raised an eyebrow as the clouds flipped around him like an overenthusiastic washing machine. “That had enough power to send me into orbit. I just wanted to one-shot him.”
His spin slowed as he reached the peak of his trajectory.
For a brief moment, everything seemed still. The battlefield was so far below that the dragon, the mountains, and even the awakeners looked like scattered game pieces.
Lucius sighed as gravity began tugging him down again.
He had to squint to even see the dragon. “Well, that award is gone.”
Then space trembled around his body, vibrating like thin glass.
Purple equations unfolded in the air… lines, arcs, formulas he consciously understood… They were talking about the elements, mana and everything else in this sky.
His body blurred.
“How fucking durable is a dragon?” Lucius hissed, before reality folded and he shot downward like a rocket.
…
Down below, the dragon’s heaving chest steadied.
Its wings folded slightly, and its molten eyes narrowed as it glared at Ayela, the wind mage.
Sweat dripped down her chin as she shook her hands nervously.
“No… I’m too small for your big stomach,” she stammered while floating some inches backward. “Please don’t eat me.”
The dragon leaned forward.
Ayela’s spirit left her body for a second.
Then…
BOOM.
A shockwave cracked the mountaintop as something broke the sound barrier high above.
Lucius crashed straight down onto the dragon’s face like a divine mallet, slamming the beast’s head into the stone.
The impact sent a plume of dust erupting into the air and forced the dragon to skid backward several feet.
Lucius landed smoothly, whipping his hair back.
The dragon flapped its wings, forcing itself upright with a growl.
Where Lucius’s first blow had torn the skin from half its face, the second had created a matching ruin on the other side.
Scales peeled and bones jutted out but disturbingly, both wounds were already healing.
Lucius gave an impressed whistle. “Damn, you’re persistent.”
He cracked his knuckles.
“Has anyone told you how you look like a Charizard?”
The dragon released a furious roar and shot forward with it’s fist raised like a boxer ready for a counterstrike.
Lucius matched its stance perfectly.
Fist met fist.
The resulting shockwave blasted Ayela backward and nearly knocked the drone off its stabilizers.
It caught three frames of the clash before zooming out to capture the insane sight:
Lucius and the dragon were fist-fighting.

The dragon threw a devastating hook.
Lucius twisted his body and deflected the impact with a sharp elbow block.
Using the momentum, he drove his fist into the dragon’s stomach, folding the massive creature over itself.
But the dragon snapped its tail downward again with brutal speed.
Lucius lifted his arm and caught it.
A wave of sharp wind cutters burst across the battlefield. One of them sliced Ayela’s cheek, drawing blood.
‘If it’s this sharp from this far away… then what about up close?’ Ayela thought as she trembled.
The dragon froze.
‘He blocked my tail?! That’s impossible!’
Lucius smirked. “Your tail’s very thick.”
Before the dragon could register his words, Lucius channeled mana into his muscles.
Space cracked around his arms like broken lightning. He tightened his grip, planted his feet…
And then he spun.
The world became a blur of motion.
The drone could only capture streaks of purple light and orange scales.
Lucius whirled the dragon like it was a bag of potatoes, rotating it so violently that the mountain itself shook.
Then he threw it.
The dragon shot upward like a fiery torpedo. It spread its wings mid-air, using the momentum to curve back around for another assault.
Lucius raised a brow. “Nice plan.”
He placed one hand in his pocket, casually lifting the other to chest height.
“But I have the perfect counter.”
The dragon smirked. Both its fists lit with blazing energy as it lunged downward.
Lucius didn’t move.
Just as the dragon reached him…
It slammed headfirst into an invisible wall.
Space rippled. The impact crunched loudly enough to echo across the mountains.
The dragon’s snout smashed into the barrier and bent awkwardly before its body piled into it like a collapsing freight train.
[@FireHazardQueen: DRAGON GOT COOKED 😂]

Lucius snapped his fingers.
The barrier shattered, dropping the dragon out of the sky. The beast plummeted several hundred meters and crashed with an earth-shaking explosion.
Lucius floated down after it, pushing the drone lower with gravitational pressure so it could film the aftermath.
“I’m definitely getting that Dragon Slayer title now,” he muttered, hopping lightly onto the fractured ground beside the trembling dragon. “Any final words? Oh right… can’t talk. Dragon.”
But the dragon’s voice came out small and feminine.
“P… please…”
Lucius blinked.
The dragon’s body trembled violently as it began shrinking.
Scales rippled, melted, and slid away and its bones shifted and folded.
The majestic wings on it’s back retracted.
The enormous figure compressed into something human.
Then, as the last surge of magic washed away, Lucius found a woman lying on the ground.
She was tall with long crimson hair, horns half-crumbled and scales fading into exposed skin where her body hadn’t fully reformed yet.
She was shivering but undeniably beautiful.
“P-please…” she whispered. “I just want to see my… parents…”
Lucius blinked twice.
Then immediately tore off his shirt and wrapped it around her exposed torso, shielding her without hesitation.
‘Ah, the cliche Dragon turning into a woman moment.’ He thought, ‘At least, she’s not a kid.’

Lucius stared at her with his eyes flicking for a half-second downward before he forced himself to look at her face instead.
“Your parents? What, are you… lost?”
He decided that the Dragon slayer title was not worth it… He needed to a hero in this time of need.
‘It’s definitely not because of her big chest though.’
