“So Luna… I saw you launched it up today.” Vanessa’s was the first one to start a conversation and Lucius was grateful for it… The table was getting a bit boring.

She cleared her throat and dabbed at her lips with a napkin. “The drone business… how did it go?”

Luna smiled.

She was completely relaxed here… surrounded by people she trusted and cared about.

Even with Emilia still under the table for reasons best left unexplored, the mood was good.

Alexia sat near Vanessa listening closely, and Elara had her hands folded neatly on her lap.

“It went well,” Luna said proudly. “The buyers thought I had forgotten about the project because of all the recent events that happened lately, so they were happy to see it finally launch. I’ve also received a lot of good reviews. As of this evening, we’ve hit a total of 120,000 new orders.”

Vanessa’s expression brightened instantly.

“That’s great to hear.” She began smiling in approval. “But with that kind of volume, I’m not sure you’ll be able to do much with a basement anymore.”

Luna laughed softly. “Yeah… I was thinking the same. Even if this basement is big… it simply won’t cut it.”

One thing Lucius admired about Vanessa was her business mind.

Even during dinner, her mind was always working.

She had managed to take over an entire Guild from her brother and maintain it even without his help.

It wasn’t surprising that she noticed Luna’s problem so easily. Lucius hoped Luna would learn from her.

Vanessa continued, her voice taking on that confident tone Lucius liked.

“If your business keeps expanding, you’ll need more than that little lab downstairs. The number of orders you’re pulling in now won’t fit, not even if you stack them up to the ceiling.”

Luna nodded, tapping her fork lightly against her plate. “That’s right. We weren’t even able to fit today’s deliveries completely. We had to do it in batches from outside.”

Alexia chimed in with a small smile. “I told her the same thing earlier. It’s time to think bigger.”

Luna nodded. “Exactly. And with the extra help we got from the Council, it’s possible. But if we’re going to continue, we’ll need to expand and make new types of drones… not just the same models over and over.”

She paused, thinking for a moment before adding, “And maybe not just drones either. I could start producing necessities too. If I can get licensing for my body suit, I could make and sell it as a product. Imagine it… an item that allows unawakened people to enter a dungeon and fight safely, even if it’s just with repulsers. It would change everything.”

Lucius blinked.

That was actually a brilliant idea.

He hadn’t even considered the potential that her suit could have outside of combat. “That’s not bad at all,” he said, resting his chin on one hand.

Vanessa nodded firmly. “It’s a smart move. If you pull that off, Luna, you’ll not only have drones… you’ll have an entire gear brand.”

The others at the table exchanged impressed looks. Elara even smiled softly, and Alexia gave a small approving nod.

“That’s nice,” Vanessa said. “Keep thinking of more ideas. GRIMMAW will support you as much as possible.”

Hearing that name made Luna’s chest warm.

Vanessa set down her glass and looked around the table.

“At the end of the day, we all are family. Yes, we belong to Lucius in one way or another…” she smiled, “…but that doesn’t change the fact that we’re family, and a family supports family.”

Her words immediately made the room a bit warmer…

The maids who were clearing the side dishes paused briefly, smiling at the sentiment.

Luna’s expression softened. Even Alexia, who usually hid behind her professional demeanor, looked visibly touched though she wouldn’t show it out loud.

‘Family huh?… Except for that cunt of a brother, I’m not sure I have anything to call a family.’

Lucius was proud and he smiled to show it… They were mature and he liked it, if everyone helped each other, it would boost his Retirement plan even more.

Then something moved under the table.

Lucius blinked and looked down.

A soft hand brushed against his palm. He froze for a moment before realizing exactly whose hand it was.

Emilia.

Of course it was Emilia.

The crimson-haired woman, who had dropped her spoon moments ago, was now under the table… and judging from the way her hand was inching higher, she wasn’t there for the spoon anymore.

Lucius gave a low sigh with his eyes narrowing slightly.

She leaned closer until he could hear her whisper from beneath the tablecloth. Her breath tickled the air.
