Chapter 709: The Warning
<God of Infinity Fragment (???)>

<Description: One of the 7 necessary fragments to ascend to the status of the God of Infinity.>

Staring at the second fragment, Rael could only let out a chuckle.

Burger was long since gone, and Rael just hoped Burger hadn’t figured out how to sever the connection between the two because of how pissed he was.

Anywho…

<Dragon Heart – Tier 3 → Tier 4>

<Your body’s physical abilities have been enhanced exponentially.>

<Your body’s mana-controlling abilities have been enhanced exponentially.>

<All Dragon-Based skills/abilities cost 60% → 70% less DTP.>

<Your flight speed increases by +500% → +1000%>

<Your fire breath is infused with the power of your Laws.>

<(NEW) You may put a curse on your treasure which harms any who try to take it from you.>

“…What?”

He made sure he was reading it right.

And clearly, he was, because no matter how many times he read it, it still seemed like shit.

It was some voodoo with treasures and stuff. But then again… he could place some of his treasure on a world and maybe mark it as his?

That would put a curse on anyone who’d enter…

At times like these, Rael wished Burger was around, but he’d only be able to talk to Burger in an hour or so when he finally calmed down.

Regardless of that though, the requirement for the 5th Tier was not that difficult.

<Dragon Heart – Tier 4>

<In order to reach Tier 5, you must have an audience with the Dragon King and be acknowledged by him.>

Since he was going to the Dragon Realm anyway, Rael figured that this was going to be the easiest out of all the missions.

So with that in mind, Rael closed all the tabs and finally flew downward.

The Chop-E’s both greeted him with nods.

Despite all that had happened, they seemed pretty chill and not that talkative.

Smiling in satisfaction, Rael turned toward Reili, who sat on a nearby bench with his arms crossed.

But once he felt Rael’s gaze, he let out a scoff.

“Took you long enough. What if I was an enemy? I would’ve killed you while you had your guard down.”

Rael rolled his eyes.

“If you saw my status screen, you would probably eat your own words. Anyway, what’s up? I didn’t expect to see you come to me willingly.”

“Of course not. I found one of those people you mentioned. They were in a nearby galaxy. I thought of approaching them, but then they immediately vanished.”

“And you, A Grade 9, can’t catch up to a Grade 6?” Rael mused.

“Hey, bastard. I can’t follow them if they use the Law of Space. I barely even know the principles of that Law,” Reili replied, crossing his arms. “Besides that, what do you want me to do? Should I just keep staying here even though they know where we are?”

Rael thought about it for a moment, then nodded.

“I believe you’re capable enough to defend this world by yourself. But if you sense them again, don’t hesitate to kill them instantly.”

After all, Rael couldn’t exactly give a shit about the heroes, except for the fact that they were somehow his enemies.

“Fine…” Reili sighed.

Rael stared at him for a moment.

“Anything else?”

“Nothing worthwhile. Your other wife stopped by a few days ago before leaving again,” he said.

Zafira was here?

Rael smiled slightly.

“Good. You may leave now and go do whatever.”

Reili didn’t wait even a second before vanishing out of sight.

As for Rael, he sat down on the same bench Reili had sat on and opened up the group chat.

<Rael Sutekh: Zafira, you were here? You could’ve said something.>

After a few seconds, she replied.

<Zafira Sutekh: Oh, it’s nothing. Your sister insisted that we grab some things before going back to training.>

<Rael Sutekh: You’re also training…? When will you be back?>

It took a few minutes to get a response this time.

<Zafira Sutekh: Your sister said that I should come back whenever I’m ready… I guess I’ll come back soon.>

Hmm…

<Rael Sutekh: I’m going to the Dragon Realm now, so I’m not sure when I’ll be back. Though when I am, I promise I’ll take you on a date.>

As it stood, Rael felt like he had spent a lot more intimate time with Lilith than Zafira, and for that, he felt extremely guilty.

After all, Zafira was someone who he cared about deeply, and she was also the first person he ever loved.

So although he was a terrible husband so far, he would make sure to make it up to her.

<Rael Sutekh: Focus on yourself. Lilith has also begun training with her father, so she’s going to be out next year at the earliest.>

<Zafira Sutekh: I see… In that case, I’ll focus more on my training. If you need help, please tell me. I’ll get there in a heartbeat.>

Before he could reply, she said:

<Zafira Sutekh: Your sister is nagging me again, so I’ll go back to training. Be safe, and I love you.>

With that, the chat went silent again.

Rael stared at the ‘I love you’ for a few seconds as a warm smile appeared on his face.

Just then, an overly annoying voice rang out inside his head.

[Sup. I’m back. I had to sleep with the Spirit Queen of Water because of you,] he said.

What…? I mean, congratulations? Shouldn’t you be thanking me instead? Rael mused.

Burger scoffed.

[As if I would be thanking you for my own competence. Either way, are you ready to leave now?]

I think I am. This world is pretty well guarded, so it should be fine.

With those thoughts, Rael quickly adjusted his clothes, fixed his hair, made sure his wings were in tippy-top shape, and lastly…

[Oh, don’t you dare enter the Dragon Realm with those shitty pigeon wings. They hate angels.]

Rael’s expression crumbled.

He thought the wings were kind of cool.

But oh well, he simply got rid of them and glanced ahead.

<Ding!>

<Would you like to enter the Dragon Realm?>

<Yes / No>
