After a moment her sight cleared, though a sharp headache throbbed through her skull. She forced herself to stand and looked around. The scene left her completely stunned. Many of the workers and servants lay knocked out on the ground. Even several guards were unconscious.

It took her a few seconds to gather herself, and then she noticed a clear pattern. Anyone below the Late Beginner Stage had been flattened by the impact.

Her eyes narrowed as she turned toward the distant training building. That was where the force had come from. And sure enough, everything inside her snapped at once.

“ETHAAAAAANNNNN!” she screamed in anger.

She hurried forward, knelt beside him, and reached for him with trembling hands. She slipped an arm around his shoulders, guiding him gently down to rest against her support.

“Ethan, stay with me,” she said softly, her worry overtaking every other emotion. She held him firmly yet carefully, keeping him steady as he fought through the pain that had shaken the entire estate.

She looked toward the collapsed workers outside and then back at Ethan who wasn’t responding.

After staying still for a moment she whispered,”Are you done acting?”

Ethan felt goosebumps and started to sweat.

“I see…You won’t wake like this.”saying that Sophia’s hand moved.

The next moment fierce screams erupted.
