209: 209:The Knight Of Light 2 209: 209:The Knight Of Light 2 When the evil descended and the skies were filled with darkness, everyone had already given up.

People trembled, clutching each other with tears streaming down their faces.

“It’s over…” “We are done for…” “If I had given a few more moments I would have confessed!” “To whom?” “To your mother!” “What!FUCKKK!” “Nooo!” “Shut up!” Julia roared at the top of her lungs.

Her voice cracked but her gaze was fierce as she glared at everyone around her.

“How can you lose yourselves like this?” “Sir Ethan is fighting for us.

If you can’t fight alongside him, then at least support him.” Julia shouted while her hands were trembling and her breathing was uneven.

Despair overwhelmed everyone’s minds.

They could not see what was happening anymore because the battlefield was swallowed by complete darkness.

Yet the presence of the nefarious being was enough to shake their souls and make their knees weak.

Just when they were on the edge of breaking down, a blinding flash of light erupted from the battlefield.

“Huh!” someone gasped.

The bright light exploded outward, shaking away the darkness.

The sky lit up like a second sun bursting into existence.

Then, what they witnessed next was something they would never forget for the rest of their lives.

Julia and Roen’s eyes almost popped out as they stared in shock.

Their mouths hung open and they could not even breathe.

Gigantic pillars shot into the sky and a colossal figure made of pure light slowly manifested.

Its form was hazy and blinding yet majestic enough to make every heart tremble.

“Lord…” “It’s the descend of God…” “Oh Almighty…” The people from the Church of Light instantly fell to their knees and started praying with trembling voices.

Tears rolled down their faces as their hands clasped tightly.

It was a heaven-defying scene.

The knights from the Baron estate, however, looked completely dumbfounded.

Their expressions twisted in disbelief and horror.

“What the fuck?” “Are you kidding me?” “Isn’t the head of Church of Light the Goddess of Light?

So what God?” One priest coughed nervously and spoke while wiping his sweat.

“It’s same.” “What the fuck is same?” “Shut up if you don’t know anything.

Almighty had no gender.” “What?” The people from the Blank estate reeled back, unable to process the absurd situation.

BOOOOOOOM!

ROARRRRRR!

From far away in Vancouver City, all the survivors saw a massive blast of light erupt into the sky followed by an earth-shaking draconic roar.

The roar spread through the clouds and forced away the darkness that had been suffocating the world like a curse.

Shockwaves blasted across the air, followed by a chain of thunderous explosions.

The ground trembled violently under their feet.

Buildings shook, windows rattled, and dust billowed through the streets as people desperately tried to keep their balance.

The world seemed to pause and hold its breath before slowly settling.

The suffocating pressure vanished.

The air lightened and the silence that followed felt almost sacred.

Roen stood among the frozen crowd.

His senses had cut through both the darkness and the overwhelming light.

His fists tightened and his eyes glowed with emotion.

Then he suddenly shouted at the top of his lungs.

“We won!” People slowly turned to him in shock.

They blinked like they had misheard.

“What did he say?” “We won?

Really?” Seeing their doubt, Roen’s smile widened and he raised his arms high into the air.

His voice cracked with relief and joy.

Julia could not control herself anymore.

Tears burst down her cheeks and she jumped into Roen’s arms, hugging him as tightly as she could.

“Brother, we won… we won…” “We really won!

Come on, we can cheer now!” Roen shouted again, filled with trembling excitement.

His words lit a spark in everyone’s hearts.

The tension that had been crushing them slowly faded.

People sobbed and shouted and hugged each other, unable to confess.

…

At the battle site.

Ethan slowly descended to the ground.

His body swayed weakly and he fell forward, collapsing onto his knees.

His breathing was rough and shallow.

His chest burned and his vision spun.

It was not only Emma who was stunned.

Even Ethan himself stared blankly, shocked and confused, wondering what the hell had happened to him.

He looked down at his shaking hands.

He touched the scale covering the side of his face with trembling fingers.

Sadly, he did not have a mirror, so he could not see himself clearly.

During the fight, he felt as if something had possessed him.

He felt as if he had acted on instinct while receiving sudden enlightenment from somewhere far beyond.

His hand reached out and grabbed the insignia hanging around his neck.

He could feel that it had played a major role.

During the last slash, he felt the blessing of light and the insignia communicating with him, as if an external force had suddenly appeared and helped him.

“Are gods and goddess really watching me…” he whispered.

The realization was frightening.

He looked down again and saw that the insignia had become dull.

“It has lost its power… Sadly… this needs to recharge.” “System, what was this feeling?” [Your Draconic Bloodline reacted.] “You mean!” His heart raced as he opened the system panel.

Name: Ethan Blank Status: Lord of the Blank Estate Species: Human [90%], Draconic Bloodline [10%] Aptitude: Warrior [B], Magician [B] Rank: Early King Knight, Late Advanced Stage Mage Partner: 4 Children: 10 Lifespan: 350 years Ability: Bloodline Convergence €“ 2nd Stage [SSS] “Oh… It reached 10%.” Ethan murmured, stunned.

‘System..That human part..If I keep evolving will I lose my human genes.’ [No..] [It will change but it will stick at 30.] [Also, the percent doesn’t show genes rather powers of that species..So no matter what power reaches 100%,at the end you still be a human.] “Ethaaaa!”Emma stood frozen nearby, staring at him with wide eyes.

“This power…” she whispered.

A chill ran down her spine as she remembered the destructive force that shook the sky.

Nothing about it seemed human.

Especially the changes in him “Eth…No,Lord Ethan… You…” Ethan gently raised his finger to his lips.

His voice was weak and tired.

“Please keep this a secret.” Emma gulped hard, struggling to find words.

Her hands shook.

“Also, can you please help me… I don’t think I can stand for a while.” Emma rushed forward to support him.
