Chapter 145: Orc Dungeon — An Alliance
A few days later, in the office of Amazon’s mayor, the news anchor could be seen speaking through the TV.
“One of the biggest dungeons Amazon has ever seen has opened in the forest, covering a distance of a thousand miles. The top guilds in Amazon, Pagoda and Justice Guilds, along with the Greyhound Corps, the best Agent unit in Amazon, have been deployed to clear the dungeon. Every citizen is advised to refrain from violent actions and be at peace, as the presidents of these guilds, along with their best teams, are currently making sure there will be no dungeon break.”
While listening to the news, which he already knew a week before now, the mayor sighed, looking out the floor-to-ceiling glass wall with his hands clasped behind him.
His predecessor was executed by being exiled to one of the most uninhabitable dungeons on earth, and now he was facing the crisis of a thousand-mile dungeon.
“How many times has a dungeon of this size appeared?” he asked his personal assistant.
“This will make it the third. If it were to turn black, half of Amazon might be wiped out before reinforcements come,” the personal assistant replied.
“Let’s hope Redwyne can clear this threat as his guild has been doing in the past.”
“The Pagoda Guild’s power is massive. The power of the branch president is enough for us to be at peace. This will pass, I assure you, Mr. Mayor.”

A vehicle parked before a crowded spot, and a woman clad in armor made from beast parts stepped down. The symbol of three claws was etched to her breastplate, and the same symbol was proudly worn by two hundred individuals in the vicinity.
They were currently at the outskirts of the forest. Isadora Sinclair, branch president of the Justice Guild, who had packed her hair into a ponytail, looked around and steadied her gaze on the government agents.
Clad in their blue coats with four rows of silver buttons and a beret, all of them also had seven-feet-tall greyhound dogs. Most giant dog summons were usually low tier, but these ones were Elite tier, with a few High tiers.
And these summons received both military training and survival training with their summoners in the dangerous expanse of dungeons, forging this elite unit.
These agents, almost a hundred of them, carried modified automatic rifles with 5.0 daggers.
Isadora’s eyes went to the leader of this elite corps, who sat in an armored truck. The door was open, and he was also examining the Justice Guild members when his eyes met Isadora’s.
Isadora narrowed her eyes while Dominic raised an eyebrow. Isadora couldn’t help it, this was a gray-skinned man with a huge muscular build.
An exaggerated one, which could only be achieved by enhancing muscles with stored mana. Dominic also had short white hair and prominent scars across his face.
Lying beside the armored truck was a nine-and-a-half-feet-tall American bully. It was pure muscle and terror.
Dominic approached Isadora, his size dwarfing the guild president, but Isadora held a confident smile as she stretched out her hand, and Dominic took it.
“It’s a privilege to fight side by side with the best Agents in Amazon,” Isadora smiled. “I heard we’re going to see Orcs there. Those kind love battles. I hope you’re prepared,” she said lightly.
Dominic chuckled after the handshake. “You guilds use dungeons to enrich yourselves. We, on the other hand, have trained for anything. Orcs are one of the many.”
“I see,” Isadora smiled in response.
As they entered the dungeon, all three hundred summoners found themselves in a forest, not the Amazon rainforest, as the trees here were massive and much taller, with the average tree being around two hundred and fifty feet tall.
The trees had adequate spacing between themselves and little grass, though they could spot some places where boulders sat, some covered with moss.
A large group of four hundred Pagoda Guild members with armbands bearing Pagoda’s insignia were gathered. Some had weapons, some did not, but different kinds of summons were out.
Their leader was a beardless man in his mid-forties. He had scales all over his body and black long claws, though the scales stopped at his neck.
At their arrival, he turned his head from the sky, where three wyverns roamed, to them and smiled a bit.
‘Rowan Redwyne. The sole Tri summoner in Amazon with three king-tier wyverns. I heard his personal strength alone makes him equal to a Throne Tier,’ Isadora noted inwardly as Rowan, the branch guild president of Pagoda Guild, approached them.
In the entire Amazon, there were about a dozen or more renowned dual summoners, but just one Tri summoner, and he was one of, if not the most, powerful men in Amazon.
“Isadora. Dominic. You’re finally here,” Rowan said, extending his hand for a handshake when the earth trembled as something fell a good distance away.
“What’s that?!” someone gasped.
All of a sudden, Rowan’s green wyvern cried out as a spear lodged through its right wing into its rib. It came crashing down as the other wyverns cried ferociously and breathed flames.
The trees were set ablaze, but the trembling of the earth increased.
Those with healing summons hurried toward the green-scaled wyvern as the other two flew down due to the number of spears being launched into the sky.
Loud sounds of trees breaking and heavy footsteps grew closer and closer until a green-skinned Orc engulfed in flames burst out of the flaming ruins.
The agents unleashed a rain of bullets, shooting down the already burning Orcs. But after bringing down twenty of them, the others that came this time were not in flames, some held shields, and their numbers were in the thousands!
Bullets trailing with flames tore through Orc hides, but their numbers were so great they eventually closed the gap.
Giant dogs pounced at them in groups, allowing the agents to shoot them down. Rowan blasted fireballs that incinerated his targets as he led the Pagoda members, while Isadora’s summon, a huge sloth, simply yawned, and a dozen Orcs felt fatigued. They felt so slow, weak, and tired that some fell asleep on the spot.
As more Orcs grew weak, the sloth grew faster, its claws cutting through them as it moved like a phantom.
“Hold them! They’re just mindless muscles!” Rowan bellowed courageously as his wyverns dominated the battlefield, but his eyes soon met a black Orc in the midst of red Orcs with white patterns on its skin.
“Juslisk vi akogei!” it said. “Legkshe revati skegei ahu!”
“You mock us. We shall offer you as a sacrifice to the great Chieftain,” a woman from Pagoda Guild interpreted with trembling eyes as the black-skinned Orc, an Esper, summoned hundreds of the red-skinned Orcs, all of whom were Lord tiers!
While the state of the raid had changed, a golden-haired young man finally arrived in Amazon in a gray hood and a face mask.
