Chapter 361: Chapter 361: Clearing the Six-Armed Demon
Immortal Art, Spatial Compression!
Johnnie only took one light step on the Void Sword, and in an instant, he appeared silently behind the Six-Armed Demon.
When Johnnie raised the Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword, the Six-Armed Demon in front of him had no idea of the danger, still staring wide-eyed at the spot where Johnnie had just been.
A flash of light, and the special effect of the Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword — “Destroying the Evil” — was activated. It ignored the demon’s physical defense.
Nine Heavens Tribulation Lightning came down from the sky, hitting the Six-Armed Demon with lightning speed.
Lightning flashed, thunder roared, and a hideous head fell to the ground, spewing warm blood.
Johnnie moved his wrist slightly, shaking off the blood from the sword.
The whole process was precise, deadly, fast, and elegant.
At that moment, Lisa’s expression still showed worry. She was both shocked by Johnnie’s power and frightened by the Six-Armed Demon.
Earlier, she had fought alongside other divine powers from the Haldrem Empire against the Six-Armed Demon. She knew its strength well — it was at the same level as The Lesser God, and she would never be able to beat it.
When she saw Johnnie, she suddenly felt hope.
But that hope was too bright, too beyond her imagination, and it left her a bit confused.
“Damn it, let’s attack together!” One of the Six-Armed Demons reacted quickly. Seeing its companion killed instantly, it immediately tried to call the others to attack Johnnie together.
But before it could finish speaking, Johnnie took another step, and appeared behind it with the Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword in hand.
“What, when, how could he be so fast!” The Six-Armed Demon realized the danger and was terrified. It quickly used all six arms to protect its vital areas, trying to fight back.
But he waited for a long time, and Johnnie’s Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword never came down.
Only then did he realize something was wrong. He spread out his six arms and looked toward where the other Six-Armed Demons were.
One by one, the heads of the Six-Armed Demons fell from the sky, along with their lifeless bodies. They dropped like ripe fruits, hitting the ground with a heavy thud.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
Each sound meant another companion was killed — completely defenseless.
The last remaining Six-Armed Demon’s pupils stretched to their limits. His eyes, full of fear, reflected Johnnie turning slowly and smiling at him.
“Run.” came a voice like that of a demon.
The last demon trembled and, without hesitation, turned and flew away into the distance.
It was terrifying. So terrifying!
Earlier, the strong people from the Universe Continent had attacked them — but it was like scratching an itch. The so-called elemental laws of nature couldn’t hurt them at all.
Even when they used physical attacks, it was hard to break through their defenses.
For a long time, the Six-Armed Demons had been crushing the strongest warriors of the Universe Continent.
But today, this demon saw true terror. Their powerful defenses seemed to vanish completely.
That human, holding a long sword, could disappear and reappear in an instant. To kill one of his companions, he just needed to take one step and swing his sword.
One step. One strike. One death.
How terrifying was that!
He had to run!
When the power difference wasn’t too big, he could still try to fight back. But now, not even fighting back was an option. He felt that if he stayed where he was, he would die right away!
The only way to survive was to run — no matter what.
Just as this Six-Armed Demon was thinking that, Johnnie suddenly appeared in front of him.
A bright flash of sword light filled the sky, flashing again and again, full of a quiet, deadly calm.
“Human, don’t…” The Six-Armed Demon tried to beg for mercy, but before he could finish, the sword light flashed once more. His body was instantly swallowed by the light.
The sky turned dark with thick clouds, and the world went quiet for a moment. Then, it was suddenly lit up by the bright light of Nine Heavens Tribulation Lightning!
Thunder rolled, lightning flashed, and with the last scream of the Six-Armed Demon, Johnnie slowly landed in front of Lisa and the others.
“Are you okay? Where are the others?” Johnnie asked gently.
Lisa didn’t answer. She was completely stunned. Only when Johnnie spoke again did she suddenly snap out of it and said quickly:
“I’m fine. The mechanical domains were being chased by the Six-Armed Demons. I don’t know where they are now.”
Johnnie nodded. Without the power of the Way, the Divine powers from the Haldrem Empire were no match for the Star Raiders.
He had spent some time in the Dark Hollow Cave, meditating on space power. That might have delayed things a bit, so the mechanical domains probably hadn’t fallen yet.
Time was running out. Johnnie looked at Lisa and the other Divine powers from the Haldrem Empire.
Just being looked at by him, they all instinctively lowered their heads a little.
“Let’s go. Help them.” Johnnie said, and tried to step onto the Void Sword to fly up into the sky and see where the battle was happening.
He had just moved a little, and the other Divine powers from the Haldrem Empire immediately stepped back a bit, giving him space.
When Johnnie was up in the air, Lisa was still on the ground, staring blankly at his back.
“Your Majesty, we should follow Master Johnnie’s lead.” said one of the Haldrem Empire’s Lesser God-level warriors, unable to help himself from speaking up.
Lisa looked at him instinctively. She knew this man had always been unhappy with her accepting Johnnie as her master — he just never showed it.
But why was he being so respectful now?
The Lesser God noticed Lisa’s look and suddenly felt a bit uneasy. He looked around nervously, coughed once, and then continued:
“Your Majesty, you really have a sharp eye. You saw Master Johnnie’s greatness way before us. Now the most important thing is to follow Master Johnnie and act together.”
After seeing Johnnie destroy those Six-Armed Demons with a complete and crushing victory — demons that had almost pushed them to their limits — all the Haldrem Empire’s divine powers had no more doubts or complaints about Johnnie.
They all knew that, without him, they would already be dead on the ground.
Lisa thought about this too. She looked at Johnnie with mixed feelings, wondering if she should still try to break the soul contract no matter what.
Maybe, following a strong person like Johnnie could help the Haldrem Empire grow better?
She didn’t have time to think much longer, because she saw Johnnie had already chosen a direction.
Without hesitation, Lisa quickly led the others up into the air. Including herself, everyone flew just a little lower than Johnnie.
No one had planned this — it was just a natural sign of respect for a strong person.
Soon, they followed Johnnie and found the mechanical domain fighting hard.
With Johnnie’s arrival, the situation turned around immediately. The Six-Armed Demons, who had been winning, suddenly became panicked and tried to run away.
Lisa and the others couldn’t beat those demons, but they could certainly slow them down.
Johnnie didn’t waste much time. He quickly killed all the Six-Armed Demons there. The power of Thunder Cultivation — “Destroying the Evil” — reached 55%.
Unfortunately, even after killing all these demons, the Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword didn’t get any more repair.
Johnnie still wanted to see how strong the Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword’s “Sacrifice – Destroying the Evil” ability really was.
After clearing out the Six-Armed Demons here, there weren’t many left in the entire Haldrem Empire.
So Johnnie decided to release Seth and the others from the guardian village, letting them join the fight too. After all, the old village leader had died because of these Six-Armed Demons.
Johnnie knew that Seth and the others had been burning with anger for revenge. Sometimes, that anger could make them fight even harder, but if they stayed like that for too long, it might cause mental problems.
Sure enough, when they saw the few remaining Six-Armed Demons, the younger people from the village instantly lost their temper and rushed to join the battle.
But Seth just took a deep breath, clenched his fists tightly, and shouted.”Stop!”
The others reluctantly stopped and looked at Seth in confusion.
Seth turned around and bowed deeply to Johnnie, saying.”Please, Master Johnnie, help us take revenge!”
Johnnie nodded in approval. He wouldn’t say no. Among the young villagers, Seth was the best — he had his own thoughts and was very steady. He could stay calm and think clearly.
Without the Power of the Way, if the young people just charged in, they wouldn’t be able to hurt the remaining Six-Armed Demons much.
Johnnie knew what Seth was planning — he was going to use the “Way of Heaven Divine Stele” defense formation, and he wanted to use the Power of the Way that Johnnie had.
Soon, under Seth’s command, the formation was set up.
Then Seth let go of his anger and led the young villagers into the battle.
…
The sun was setting, and the golden light painted the land in a soft red.
Many Six-Armed Demon corpses were still bleeding, giving off a terrible smell.
Seth, covered in blood, stood in the middle of broken demon bodies. His eyes were empty and confused as he looked at Johnnie.
“Master Johnnie, is it over?” he asked slowly.
Johnnie looked up at the setting sun and then at Lisa, who was still working hard. He shook his head and said.”No. We’ve only dealt with the Six-Armed Demons for now. Soon, stronger ones will come — or maybe other types of Star Raiders.”
