Chapter 347: Chapter 347: The Cruelty of Bio-Humans, Johnnie’s Anger
Outside the Thunder Pool, hundreds of Lightning Spirit Race people were controlled by Bio-Humans. Black vines were tied around their bodies, making them unable to move or fight back.
“What’s going on? Where is Lord Wyatt?”
“Lord Wyatt? Ha! That guy made a deal with these damn Bio-Humans. He attacked Lord Levin and now these Bio-Humans are capturing our people. All of this is because of Wyatt!”
“Oh no! Didn’t Lord Wyatt say he would lead all of the Lightning Spirit Race out of the Thunder Realm? He promised more resources and a better future for our people!”
“Believe everything he says? You really are stupid.”
Many of the captured Lightning Spirit Race people started blaming each other. Especially those who once supported Levin, they thought everything was because of Wyatt.
The arguments and accusations grew louder and louder, until a surviving Thunder Pool guard suddenly shouted.
“Enough! Lord Wyatt is dead. So is Levin!”
All the Lightning Spirit Race people fell silent at once, their eyes wide with shock as they looked at the guard.
As the guard explained what had happened, they finally understood the truth.
One person shook their lips, not wanting to believe it. “No, that can’t be true. Even if Levin used the Nine Heavens Thunder Dragon, he wouldn’t die!”
“How could that be? He was the strongest in the Thunder Realm!”
“It can’t be true. It just can’t be.”
At that moment, Cedric, who was giving orders to the Bio-Humans, stopped and walked over to one of the Lightning Spirit Race people.
With a look of disgust, Cedric said.”Oh? Strongest? If it weren’t for the restrictions in your world, we could have already taken over this place completely.”
“Spit!” The Lightning Spirit Race person couldn’t move, but he could only spit at the ground.
Cedric suddenly froze, shocked. He reached up and wiped the saliva off his face.
In an instant, his arm split into hundreds of black vines, like big, wriggling worms. They quickly wrapped around the Lightning Spirit Race person who had spat at him and swallowed him whole.
With a sickening sound of tearing and blood splashing, Cedric looked around with a dark expression.
“Everyone here will die. And after we take over this world, everyone else will become nothing more than dirty, worthless insects under our feet!”
“No one can stop us from taking over this world completely.” Cedric said, his voice firm.
All the Lightning Spirit Race people fell silent. They looked at the dead body of their friend on the ground, then at the Bio-Humans around them. A deep sadness and anger filled their hearts.
At that moment, one of the Bio-Humans grabbed a little Lightning Spirit Race girl, only five or six years old, and brought her forward.
“Sir, most of the Lightning Spirit Race have been caught. We’re only left with a few weak children.” the Bio-Human said to Cedric.
Cedric slowly bent down in front of the girl, smiled, and patted her head.
“Good girl. Where are your parents?”
“They… they were taken by you. Mom told me to hide.” the girl answered, trembling.
Cedric smiled again, stood up, and grabbed the girl by her hair, lifting her up. He waved her around in front of the captured Lightning Spirit Race, like showing off a prize.
“Who is your parent?” Cedric asked with a smile.
All the Lightning Spirit Race people glared back at him, their eyes full of anger.
“I see. It looks like your parents are already dead. That’s a shame.”
“Then I guess I’ll send you to join them.”
Cedric said, and tossed the girl onto the ground near the Thunder Pool.
Immediately, a Bio-Human came over and gave her a black seed to eat.
Soon, the girl screamed in pain and helplessness, crying out over and over: “Dad, Mom, where are you?”
“Ow, it hurts… uh, uh…”
The little girl’s body started to change violently. Black vines shot out of her mouth, wrapping around her body tightly.
As she struggled, she accidentally touched the bodies of some Lightning Spirit Race people who had been killed by the Bio-Humans.
Her eyes suddenly widened. There, among the dead, were her father and mother!
She shook their bodies, trying to get a response, hoping for comfort.
…
This sight filled all the Lightning Spirit Race people with anger, but they were all trapped and couldn’t do anything.
Cedric watched their angry and helpless faces with satisfaction. He smiled and waved his hand, telling his subordinates.”Bring the other children here too.”
After saying that, Cedric walked toward the little girl, who had turned into a black monster. He pulled out a sharp knife and stepped on her back.
He grabbed her hair like a farmer would with a chicken, lifting her so that her neck was facing the Thunder Pool.
Then, Cedric slowly placed the knife against her neck, smiling as he looked at the Lightning Spirit Race people.
“You can’t do anything. This world will soon belong to the Bio-Humans. No one will come to save you.”
“Look closely. You won’t believe what’s about to happen.”
As he spoke, many of the Lightning Spirit Race people instinctively tried to close their eyes, not wanting to see what was about to happen.
Just as Cedric was about to cut the girl’s throat, the surface of the Thunder Pool suddenly erupted. A long sword shot out at lightning speed, slicing toward Cedric’s head.
“Clang!”
The Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword hit Cedric’s knife, cutting it into pieces that flew in all directions.
The sword didn’t stop. It kept moving, attacking Cedric’s head without slowing down.
Cedric quickly raised his arm, using the black vines covering it to block the attack from the Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword.
Then, the sword quickly flew back and hovered above the Thunder Pool.
Cedric narrowed his eyes and stared intently at the sword, shouting.”Who’s there!”
All the Lightning Spirit Race people widened their eyes and stared at the Thunder Pool, hoping to find out who was inside.
Could it be Lord Levin?
One person looked at the sword and spoke in a hesitant voice.”Is that… our clan’s sacred weapon, the Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword?”
“Lord Levin is still alive! No one in the Thunder Realm could make this sword recognize them, except him!”
“You’re right! It’s Lord Levin! He’s still alive!”
“We’re saved! The Thunder Realm is saved!”
Cedric’s face was serious and tense. He hadn’t found Levin’s body, so he couldn’t be sure if he was really dead or not.
Under everyone’s watchful eyes, a hand suddenly shot out from the Thunder Pool and grabbed the Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword.
Johnnie, with Lumi by his side, appeared before the crowd.
“It’s not Lord Levin! It’s a human!”
“A human? How is that possible? How could a human have control over the legendary Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword?”
“Oh no, we’re doomed. There’s no hope left.”
“Has Lord Levin really died?” At once, most of the Lightning Spirit Race people lost all hope, while only a few still looked at Johnnie with eyes full of expectation.
Behind Johnnie, Lumi looked around and finally locked eyes on the little girl who had turned into a black monster.
“Tula?” Lumi spoke, clearly recognizing the girl.
The girl turned around in shock, looking at Lumi with tears in her eyes, and suddenly burst into tears, completely breaking down.
“Lumi, Dad is dead. Mom is dead too.”
“I feel so bad, Lumi.”
The little girl cried as she tried to approach Lumi in the Thunder Pool.
Lumi immediately tried to stop her, but it was too late.
As the girl’s black body touched the Golden Thunder Essence in the pool, a thick cloud of black smoke suddenly erupted.
Then, the girl was violently thrown backward, spitting out black blood.
“Why is this happening? Tula isn’t a monster… she’s not…” The girl stared in shock at the black blood on her hands and the Thunder Pool that had attacked her. Her small eyes were full of confusion.
At that moment, Cedric suddenly spoke, laughing maniacally.
“Hahaha, you’ve become a real monster. There’s no way for you to return to your old self. Even if your parents were alive, they wouldn’t recognize you as their daughter anymore!”
“Shut up!” Lumi was furious and tried to attack Cedric.
But before she could, Johnnie had already moved. The Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword transformed into a flash of light and shot toward Cedric at an incredible speed.
But as it flew halfway, it suddenly trembled and changed direction, flying toward the Lightning Spirit Race girl.
Behind the girl, a black vine silently appeared.
Pop!
Crack!
The sound of the vine piercing through flesh, followed by the sound of the sword cutting through it, echoed through the air.
Tula, the Lightning Spirit Race girl, stood there in shock, staring down at the large hole in her stomach, her face filled with fear and panic.
She looked toward the bodies of her parents, and slowly fell to the ground, her small hands covered in black blood. She whispered, trembling, in a desperate plea:
“Dad, Mom, Coco isn’t a monster… don’t leave Coco.”
“Tula… Tula is so cold…”
In the end, her small hands, covered in black blood, dropped weakly to the ground.
Cedric laughed out loud, pulling his black vines back as he said.”Hahaha, human, your reaction was fast, but you almost failed to stop me.”
“Unfortunately, no one can stop me from killing the one I want.”
He even stepped onto Tula’s body, lifting his big foot and stomping down with all his strength.
When Johnnie saw this, his pupils first shrank violently, then rapidly expanded. His eyes fixed on Cedric, his mouth slightly open, and a choked, uneven breath escaped his throat.
In an instant, his eyes were filled with blood, the veins on his neck burst out, and his facial muscles stiffened like never before.
A hoarse, guttural scream erupted from deep within his throat.
“Die! Die for me!”
