Chapter 304: A Shocking Scene
The next morning came with soft sunlight over Dubai, and after having breakfast with his friends, Liam escorted them to the airport.
Today was their flight back to the United States, and today was also the day he would be having his meeting with the CEO of JP Morgan.
He had already spoken to Daniel last night and he had told him two things clearly:
To reject every email asking for meetings or any form of gatherings, no matter how casual.
And to tell JP Morgan’s CEO that he will meet him tomorrow—which is today.
That was all.
Daniel had agreed and had said that he will put everything in place for his return, but Liam told him he wouldn’t be traveling by plane.
The man froze completely. It made no sense at first, and Daniel had asked twice if he heard correctly.
When Liam chuckled and said, “Just wait for the surprise,” Daniel’s uneasiness doubled.
He knew that since Liam had said something like that, then he will really do something shocking. But he was aware that there was nothing he could do except to brace himself and prepare the entire family office for whatever insane thing Liam was about to reveal to the world.

When Liam and his friends reached the airport, their convoy was allowed to drive straight onto the tarmac.
The reason was simple: Liam had rented a private jet for their flight home. He wasn’t flying with them, but he had insisted on giving them the best treatment for their return.
To anyone else, it would have looked like he was spoiling them beyond reason. And truthfully… he was.
But he didn’t care. He enjoyed seeing them happy, and this was one of the few ways he liked spending money—quietly, effortlessly and without fuss.
The moment they stepped out of the car, their eyes went wide as they saw the Gulfstream G700 waiting in front of them.
The sun reflected off its clean white body, and its elegant wings cast a long shadow across the asphalt.
Matt shook his head slowly, a small laugh escaping him as he walked closer to the jet.
“Liam really knows how to enjoy life,” he said.
Liam chuckled under his breath. “Money is meant to be spent. If I can’t spend a couple of millions on a charter, then I’m not living up to my title as the mystery and youngest billionaire.”
His friends laughed with warm amusement at his words.
They thanked him again—probably the tenth time since he told them about the private jet. Liam waved them off each time, but the sincerity in their voices made him smile warmly.
Alex grinned and nudged Liam lightly with his elbow. “When we meet again, I expect good news from you on the romantic front.”
Liam narrowed his eyes at him, then pointed toward the aircraft stairs. “Get on the plane before I decide to send you home strapped under the wing.”
Everyone burst into laughter at the remark.
The girls waved at him when they reached the stairs.
Kristy called out, “Goodbye, Liam!”
Stacy added, “Enjoy your vacation. And take care of yourself this time.”
Liam smiled and nodded. “I will.”
He watched them board, one by one, until the door closed. He walked back toward the waiting car, and the vehicle drove off the tarmac, giving the jet room to taxi toward the runway.
A few minutes later, he saw the plane gather speed and lift into the air. It climbed steadily, disappearing into the bright sky.
Liam watched it with a small smile. Then he leaned back as the car carried him toward the hangar.
The hangar doors opened slowly, and the Black Titan stood inside, waiting in silent darkness. The aircraft looked powerful and clean under the overhead lights. The crew was already gathered beside it, ready for their flight to Macau.
The airport ground team was also on standby, only waiting for the chief pilot to request the towing truck. Everything was prepared.
This is the power of someone that has the only private A380 in the world. Especially since it’s a kid, it’s a level of power and influence that can’t be measured with just money.
Liam stepped out of the car and walked toward the aircraft. He didn’t speak to anyone, but the crew bowed their heads slightly, acknowledging his presence.
The lift platform under the jet’s entrance was lowered. He stepped onto it and it rose steadily until he reached the doorway.
He walked inside and made his way to one of the seats. After sitting down, he leaned back and gestured lightly to the nearest hostess.
“Please inform the captain that we are ready to leave.”
“Yes, sir,” she replied politely and walked toward the cockpit.
But when she turned around again, Liam’s seat was empty.
He had vanished.
She stopped walking, as her breath caught in her throat and her eyes widened slowly in horror.
Another hostess who was about to go to the galley to prepare his drinks saw it as well, and she was spooked.
Both women stared at the empty seat that Liam had been occupying only a moment ago. Their hearts pounded violently, but neither of them screamed or called for help.
They remembered every line of the NDA they signed. They remembered what Daniel had told them about Liam:
If something strange happens, you did not see it.
If something impossible happens, you say nothing.
If something makes no sense, forget it instantly.
Their faces paled, but their mouths remained shut.
This was exactly why Liam chose to disappear from the plane and not anywhere public.

Across the world, in New York City, Daniel stood inside Whitlock’s office. Both men were waiting for Liam to arrive.
Whitlock had expected Liam to be present, but when Daniel walked in alone, he raised an eyebrow immediately.
It also didn’t help with the fact that Daniel was calm.
And his confusion could only deepen when Daniel said, “He’s on his way.”
The CEO of JP Morgan blinked in confusion.
According to what he knew, Liam was still in Dubai and his plane, the Black Titan, hadn’t even left the airport. If Liam was truly on his way, it should take him at least half the day to get here. Because of that, Whitlock believed Daniel would be arriving alone and the actual meeting would be pushed to tomorrow instead.
There was also no information about Liam leaving Dubai on another aircraft.
Whitlock leaned back in his chair, staring at Daniel in silence. Every logical possibility ran through his mind.
Private hypersonic jet? Impossible.
Secret military aircraft? Doubtful.
Teleportation? Ridiculous.
Then again, Nova Technologies existed and Lucid existed. The delivery drones also existed.
Maybe “ridiculous” didn’t mean anything anymore.
Whitlock felt there was a missing piece somewhere. Something important that would explain the situation. But since Daniel didn’t look like he planned on saying anything, Whitlock decided to stop asking and simply wait for the main character of the day to arrive.
Then, the next moment arrived.
Daniel’s eyes widened so suddenly and so violently that it attracted Whitlock’s attention.
He turned toward the window with pure curiosity and confusion, and then his own eyes widened just as much as Daniel’s.
Floating in the air right outside his skyscraper window, high above New York and standing calmly as if the sky were solid ground is Liam
His hands rested casually at his sides, his clothes fluttering slightly in the rushing wind, and his expression was relaxed, as if appearing outside the window of one of the world’s most powerful financial buildings was a normal thing.
Whitlock’s mind went blank and his heartbeat stuttered for a moment and he couldn’t breathe for a moment. He was lucky that he didn’t go into a cardiac arrest at that moment.
To top it all, Liam lifted one hand, giving a small wave through the glass.
That should not be possible.
