Chapter 293: Thoughts And Ideas
The robots moved with steady rhythm across the empty store floor, following Liam’s instructions without pause.

Some hovered near the ceiling, scanning the beams and running blue lines across the edges. Others carried shelves, tables, tool sets and support frames.

The taller humanoid machines marked locations for equipment, storage racks and a counter. The smaller disc-shaped ones cleaned dust from the corners and polished the floor until it looked new.

Not a single movement was wasted. The machines worked like a single unit and everything they did looked purposeful.

Liam stood near the entrance with his hands tucked in his pockets. His eyes followed the machines as they moved. He wasn’t checking for mistakes. He simply watched them and let his mind wander.

The idea of magitech sat at the front of his thoughts now.

It had appeared in his mind earlier, and the more he thought about it, the more the idea made sense. This magic universe was huge. He knew that much from what the system told him.

The cultivation universe was just as large. Both were filled with countless worlds. Some worlds were small and undeveloped like Velaris. Some were probably far ahead.

There were likely worlds that had reached the stars and built civilizations that spanned galaxies. Worlds that used cultivation or magic or something else entirely to build ships that travelled through the void. Worlds that had powers far beyond anything he had seen so far.

But Velaris wasn’t one of those worlds. This one was behind. Too behind. Their magic was crude and their systems were primitive.

Yet they had potential. He could see that much, as their world was stable.

To Liam, that meant opportunity.

He knew that he wouldn’t stay here forever. He knew that once he awakened, his path would be wide and dangerous and filled with places that demanded strength and skill. But he also knew something else. Velaris was his foothold in the magic universe. The place he would return to. The place he would build a base.

A small smile formed on his face.

Magitech…

It would take time but it was possible. And if it worked, it would take this world to a completely new level.

He thought about the Lucid that he would make for this world. Velaris needed something that would let people learn. They needed to grow. They needed ways to improve their magic, their skills, their knowledge, their strength.

The Velaris Lucid would be a pure learning device. One people would wear. One that would connect to the mind and feed them knowledge. And as long as they understood the basics, they would learn anything.

Combat techniques, language, runes, spells, science, forging, alchemy…

Anything.

And not only that, this world’s version of Lucid would let people speak to each other through it. They would be able to talk across cities, across kingdoms and even across secret realms. Nothing would block the connection.

A full communication network.

The thought made him smile again.

Then would come e-commerce. He would build a marketplace. A place where people could buy anything through Lucid. Spells, potions, herbs, tools, scrolls, food, anything. It would be slow at first because he needed the device to gain trust and popularity. But once people accepted the device, the rest would follow.

He also needed the finance idea he had been planning. A banking system. A safe way to store money. A way to make payments through the Lucid. A system that worked across borders and kingdoms.

The foundation of everything.

He nodded slightly to himself. The plan was clear now. He would take this world from walking to running and then to flying. It wouldn’t happen overnight. But it would happen.

Behind him, Chrises watched him closely as she stood near a group of robots.

One of the floating machines passed her. She reached out and placed her fingers on its metallic shell. It felt cold and smooth. She had seen artifacts before but none of them felt or looked like this. None of them moved like this. None of them acted like this.

She watched another robot extend a tool from its arm and adjust the measurement of a wall with calm precision. She could feel no magic from any of them.

It was dead. A machine without life or magic but it worked with accuracy beyond any artifact she knew.

She wanted to ask Liam a hundred questions but she saw the faraway look on his face and she lowered her hand. She had never seen someone think so hard in complete silence. She didn’t want to interrupt. So she waited quietly.

Liam blinked and finally pulled his mind back from his thoughts. He checked the time and saw that it matched Earth time.

It was time to sign-in.

He didn’t hesitate as he sat down on a crate and said in his mind, “System, sign-in.”

[Congratulations, Host, you received 100,000 Gold Coins]

[You received 10,000 Purple Grade Mana Crystals]

[You received a talent: Primordial Alchemy Sovereign]

***

“Another good day,” Liam nodded in satisfaction.

He focused on the talent and its description appeared in front of him.

Primordial Alchemy Sovereign

Description: Primordial Alchemy Sovereign grants the Host mastery over every aspect of alchemy—understanding materials, creating pills, potions, fusions, transmutation—allowing perfect results. It is the apex divine alchemy talent with limitless potential.

Alchemy… good. Very good, Liam muttered to himself, as he closed the interface.

The description was simple but he understood the meaning. This talent was not limited to one world. It was universal. It meant that he could create potions in the magic world, pills in the cultivation world and anything else that counted as alchemy across different realities.

He smiled again.

“Four sign-ins so far. Two more to go before the first weekly sign-in.”

His awakening was near. Slow, yes. At the pace of one sign-in per world per day, it felt like crawling. But it didn’t matter. He was making progress. Every day brought him closer.

He stood up and brushed off his pants.

Chrises looked at him the moment he did. Her eyes were filled with curiosity. She didn’t speak but her expression said enough. She wanted to understand. She wanted to ask. She wanted explanations.

Liam wasn’t surprised. Anyone would be curious after seeing what she just saw. The robots. The assembly process. The technology.

He gave her a calm smile.

“You’ll understand everything soon,” he said softly.

Her eyes widened a little, but she nodded.

Liam walked back toward the center of the store and watched as the robots began installing the first set of shelves along the wall. Everything was going as planned.
