Chapter 356: Trapped!?
The guardian felt a chill down her spine, her majestic blue wings quivered under Eryke the Seventh fist. Her instinct blared in alarm at the mere gaze of him.
It felt like if she spoke a lie then she would die mercilessly.
She opened her quivering lips and said “I…”
“If you lie, then you are dead.” Eryke the Seventh spoke mercilessly, his cold gleaming pupils looked at her calmly.
“I… I…” The Guardian shuttered, too fearful to speak.
‘Hmm, what should I do with her?’ He thought in his heart. There were two choices for him, either to kill her or carry her around.
But it seems like there was very little benefit that she could provide for him right now…
“Answer it.” Eryke the Seventh spoke with more murderous eyes while observing her.
“I don’t know…” She spoke with a quiver.
“Good, that’s the right answer.”
Bang!
He slammed his fist right at her head, directly squashing her skull until only a meagre amount of blood stains and mucus were left in place. Her limbs failed around helplessly like a fish out of the water before she went still, all her movements coming to a halt.
Her heaving chest halted!
“Hmph.” Eryke the Seventh scoffed, “Although you spoke the right answer, that doesn’t mean that I will let you live.”
There was no reason for him to keep her next to him, besides he felt something wrong with her, there was a seething anger hidden beneath her exterior, even when she spoke with fear, that anger of hers couldn’t be hidden at all.
There was definitely something wrong with her even when he saw her with his True Eyes, her soul seemed to be in a strange state of anger, neither was it good or evil.
Eryke the Seventh took one last glance at the corpse of the woman before he shook his head with a sigh and was about to go away.
At this time, a strange red miasma spread out of the dead corpse, quickly covering a span of a thousand miles, engulfing him as well.
“What the hell is this?” Eryke the Seventh looked around with vigilance.
Even though he didn’t feel any particularly harmful in this red miasma, he wasn’t one to wait for something to happen.
He ran, as fast as possible, using every ounce of his strength to try to get out of this place, jumping through the magma lake and landing on patches of soil.
Unfortunately, no matter how much he ran, he still was engulfed in the red miasma, it seemed to stretch infinitely in front of him.
At the same time as this happened, he started to feel an unbearable urge of anger that originated from his very soul. The unbridled rage overtook his mind and Hive Mind didn’t help either, he was completely helpless at this moment.
‘This is the same thing I felt from that woman.’
Eryke the Seventh looked at the sky, his eyes narrowed, for a split there, he could have sworn that he sensed something, a gaze that looked straight at him.
Verifying his conjecture, his ears twitch as he heard laughter near him, the tone felt extremely familiar.
“That woman?” he turned towards her corpse, at least where her seemingly dead corpse should have been and there was absolutely nothing there, startling him to the extreme.
“The miasma came from her…”
He felt a faint regret, maybe he shouldn’t have killed her, now he might be in even more trouble right now.
But letting her follow him or letting her go might have been even more troublesome for him so it wasn’t like his action was illogical.
“Haha, thank you for freeing me, little mortal.”
Suddenly, a loud sound rang from the miasma with a sneering tone, it came from every part of the miasma, as if this entire thing was completely alive.
Hearing the familiar voice with that uncontained anger within it, of course, Eryke the Seventh was able to tell who she was.
“I thought I already defeated you.” he spoke calmly.
“You did defeat me but you also killed the vessel that contained me and now you have let out the unbridled wrath.”
“I see, now might as well tell me how I can defeat you as well.” Eryke the Seventh joked.
“Hmph, you cannot escape from my miasma human, now die by your own anger in anguish.” Her tone rang out sneeringly.
There was some truth in her voice, for now, Eryke the Seventh didn’t have any option for him to escape out of this place and he seemed to be almost completely helpless here.
So with nothing left he could do, he just sat in the place, cross legged and closed eyes, trying to calm the anger inside him.
“Huh, what are you doing?” She spoke with a questioning tone.
“Since I can’t escape this place then I will just stay here in silence.” he answered before going back into meditation, unmoving from his position.
It seemed like she couldn’t do anything to him other than making him angry but that was the most pointless thing that he has heard of.
What would even making him angry do?
Even though his hive mind couldn’t exactly suppress all of the anger but he could keep his mind in sanity, so there was absolutely nothing that she could do even if she kept him here.
“Human, aren’t you afraid?”
Eryke the Seventh completely ignored her.
“I can remain here for an eternity but you will die in a few decades, you must have trained very hard for you to gain such strength, are you going to abandon it all in a few decades.” Her voice came in a cold tone.
‘I wonder how long I have to stay here.’ He thought while calmly handling the wrath inside of him.
While Eryke the Seventh was in a conundrum, Zarek was facing a lot of trouble.

Ahhhhh–
In the house of Demi-gods, a loud, shrill scream rang.
