“Was that thing alive or something?” Eryke the Seventh muttered. If it really was, then what kind of a thing was that?

Just thinking about such a monstrous being made a chill shiver down his spine. That did be beyond his possible comprehension after all.

Anyway, shaking his head, he focused back on his reality.

The high temperature in the surrounding assailed him, causing a small blister to appear in his hand. Forcing his eyes open, he could finally observe.

Tall jagged volcanic mountains, so tall that it seemed to pierce heaven itself lay in front of him. The Magma river flowing out from its peak and winding around the mountains, covered the entire place.

With barely any patch of land to even stand in place. A scene that felt straight of hell was playing out in front of his eyes right now.

“What the hell is this place?” Eryke the Seventh swallowed nervously, the burnt smell wafted into his nose causing his lungs to thrum in pain.

Just as he was contemplating his next course of action, a blue panel appeared before him.

“This…” he didn’t expect to earn such a boon so easily. Although the million destiny points wasn’t something that did help him right now but he was a happy camper for taking it without hesitation.

Then his focus went to his title <Achiever>, another blue panel appeared in front of him again.

“What does it even mean?” He tilted his head with a frown on his face, a little confused in his heart.

At this moment, a beautiful woman appeared before him in blue robes, her long blue hair rustled in the wind and her cold blue pupils looked at him without a hint of emotion. She was stepping on the air itself, taking it as a staircase for her beautiful pale feet.

There were two long, majestic wings behind her back. Her pupils were cold and calculating as she looked upon Eryke the Seventh.

“Who are you?” Eryke the Seventh spoke with a calm tone. Even though his ears were almost bursting apart, that didn’t mean he was completely helpless, at this moment, his most powerful weapon was his body.

“I am one of the Guardians of this hell.” She replied and moved her sleeves slightly. Instantly the temperature dropped rapidly, in a moment under the widened eyes of Eryke the Seventh, the ice had already reached him and the entire place froze around him.

“Shit.” That was barely the thought he could muster before his entire skin was already covered in frostbites, trying to freeze him alive.

“A living cannot enter hell, this has been an unspoken rule throughout eternity and you dare to enter?” Her voice was extremely cold, filled with hidden anger, “Outsider, it is your honour to be killed by me.”

Eryke the Seventh tried to move his muscles but the layers of ice were already wrapping around him and obstructing him to even move around. His beating heart was coming to a halt.

“Ahhh.” he roared, his heart pumped like crazy and he mustered every fiber of his strength in his body, trying to fight the cold around him and it worked. The layer of ice around his body started to break down.

“You…” the cold woman was stunned before she could react, the ice broke apart revealing the ferocious Eryke the Seventh.

He pressed his legs against the ground, propelling directly towards her at full speed.

The guardian extended her hand and the temperature dropped, icy veins flowed from her palm directly to Eryke the Seventh.

“The same trick won’t work twice.” he grinned, clenching his five fingers before delivering a firm strike against it.

With his brutal strength, the ice started to break apart, cobwebs appearing all around it before it all started to fall apart, his fist travelled unhindered as it landed right on her beautiful face.

Bone snapping sound echoed in place, her cheeks caving under the pressure, she was sent through the air leaving a trail of blood and crashing into the ground.

The ground was directly destroyed as if a meteor had struck.

“Ho?” Eryke the Seventh landed on the ground with a light thump right after, he looked at the devastating scene before, “I didn’t expect her to be this weak…”
