Chapter 350: Ten Million!?
The warm yellow rays of sunlight slipped through the small gaps in the windows, gradually illuminating Eryke’s figure, revealing his long golden hair and striking blue pupils.
“Finally.” He set the book down as a sigh of satisfaction escaped his lips. “Done. I’m done with all of them. It took me a full day and night, but I managed to finish.”
Eryke rose from his seat and stretched, his face carrying a pleasant, contented expression.
His knowledge of Martial Arts, especially the Sword, had grown even more intricate now.
With it, his Sword Will had grown even more powerful, and once unleashed, he couldn’t even begin to imagine its sharpness.
If he combined it with his Fifth-circle spell, SwordHeart, the result would be even more terrifying.
He could also merge it with his First-circle spell: Aura, Second-circle spell: SoulMark and Third-circle spell: Aura Projection.
Eryke had already done so before, except with SoulMark but now he felt confident he could weave that into his SwordHeart as well.
Just the thought of a single cut instantly draining one’s vitality within mere breaths was utterly terrifying.
Even if an opponent managed to defend against the terrifying force of his Sword Will, a single injury would still drain their vitality.
Now, Eryke only needed to fix his gaze on the enemy, channeling his mana into the four spells, and they would be trapped within a dome where his Sword Will raced at extreme speed, cutting them down with ease.
And even if they somehow held their defense, the faintest wound would still lead to death by exhaustion.
Eryke felt completely overpowered now. The only ways he could imagine his own defeat were if someone somehow managed to sneak up on him with enough strength to kill him or, in the most extreme case, if they possessed sheer power great enough to overwhelm him despite all his methods.
But neither of those scenarios could be achieved by a Transcendent Martial Artist. That left only Heavenly or Divine Martial Artists.
He had never faced them, so he didn’t know their strength, whether they were weaker than him or far beyond. In truth, he didn’t even know if such beings existed in this Martial World at all.
“Still, there’s also the Million Gold Sect I have to visit.” Eryke sighed as he stepped out of the library.
There, Ma Zhilan was waiting for him.
Eryke gave a subtle nod and said, “Call Geneva and that little brat.”
“Yes.” She nodded before quickly heading off.
He watched her retreating figure with a thoughtful gaze. “Hmm, I wonder when I’ll have enough destiny points to create another clone and send it to another world.”
After a moment of thought, Eryke shook his head.
“I might be able to accumulate them if I kill those twelve Transcendent Martial Artists but Chun Ma is still in seclusion right now. So it won’t be anytime soon, maybe Drayken could do it, or Zarek.”
Growing thoughtful for a moment, Eryke watched as Ma Zhilan returned with Geneva and the little brat.
As they walked through the sect grounds, the disciples of the Sound Sect greeted him with the utmost respect.
Eryke responded only with a nod, continuing all the way to the exit.
“We’re going to the Million Gold Sect now, right?” Ma Zhilan asked with a hint of uncertainty.
“Yeah,” Eryke replied. “Although I split that building, the library shouldn’t be damaged, right?”
“Yes. Our Sound Sect maintained the remains and confirmed it wasn’t damaged in the slightest,” Ma Zhilan answered honestly. “Umm… how did you know that?”
“I could sense it,” he replied casually.
A giant Sword Will, sheathed in a scabbard, appeared behind him. Eryke and the other three quickly mounted it and soared through the sky.
This time, Ma Zhilan didn’t need to guide Eryke, so their journey was even quicker. In just a few moments, they had already arrived.
The entire city had once flourished under the control of the Million Gold Sect, but now that it lay in ruins, trade had declined sharply, and an oppressive atmosphere hung over the place.
The same was true for the Thousand Iron Sect as well.
The moment Eryke and the others landed on the sliced headquarters of the Million Gold Sect, his eyebrows immediately shot up, and he froze in place.
“What happened?” Ma Zhilan asked, noticing his sudden pause.
Eryke moved slightly and turned toward her, a smile playing on his lips. “Nothing. Nothing at all. You wouldn’t even understand if I explained it, after all.”
“Okay, if you say so,” she replied.
‘Not bad… not bad. Ten million destiny points? How is that even possible?’
[Congratulations! You have destroyed two of the top three sects, completely destabilized the Orthodox Faction, and taken control of it.]
[You have earned ten million destiny points.]
‘But how did I get so many?’ he wondered, a flicker of curiosity in his heart. ‘And why am I only receiving them now?’
He had essentially destroyed the two sects long ago, and the Sound Sect had already taken control but only after he visited them again did the points register. It left him utterly confused. What the hell was going on?
‘Maybe it didn’t register until it was completely confirmed through me.’
Anyway, Eryke now had over twelve million destiny points, enough to level up his clone to level seven and even send it to another world.
He didn’t want to hesitate. “Show me the library.”
“Yes.” Ma Zhilan quickly guided him toward the place, and Eryke settled in while Geneva and the little brat were quickly positioned elsewhere.
Once inside, excitement surged in Eryke’s heart. He hadn’t been able to level up ever since coming to this world to escape that Leviathan, but now his confidence was at an all-time high and he could even level up his talent again!
There were certain advantages to sending other clones to another world. Even if they couldn’t earn destiny points themselves, they could share their skills and titles with him, granting him terrifying abilities as well.
