Chapter 394: Law of Energy
Outside the Space Cube, the cosmos was far from silent.

The shockwaves of Ethan Hunt’s existence had traveled through the dimensions, reaching the gilded halls of the most ancient and terrifying powers in the Eternal Domain.

These were the Supreme Families, lineages that had once birthed Emperors of Destiny, beings who had held the fate of the entire eternal domain in their palms.

In this era, these seven families stood as the hidden masters of the world.

Even the three thousand original races, the proudest and most ancient species in history, would show some respects if a member of these families visited their domains.

Their hierarchy was simple, yet terrifying.

At the top were the Ancestors, residing in the Eternal Sovereign realm.

Below them were the Supreme Elders, the Origin Paragons, whose power was just a single step away from them.

Within the central hall of the Kizuki family, seven figures sat in a circle.

Each one was a Supreme Elder, and the air around them distorted with every breath they took.

The Supreme Elder of the Kizuki family sat at the head, his arm still regrowing from the wound inflicted by the World Tree’s light.

“That brat possesses a treasure capable of harming an Origin Paragon,” the Kizuki elder said, his voice cold and raspy.

“I felt the breath of the Source within that light.”

“If we do not eliminate him now, he will become a disaster that none of us can contain.”

“A disaster?” an elder from the void-dwelling Hoshino family sneered.

“He is a human. A bug.”

“You were caught off guard, Kizuki. That is all.”

“He killed thousands of candidates in a single strike, Hoshino,” the Kizuki elder retorted, his eyes flashing with fury.

“And the Will of the Eternal Domain itself has contacted us.”

“It wants him erased.”

“However, the Will is restricted by the laws of the Trial.”

“It can only allow beings up to the Axiom Dominion realm to enter the trial grounds.”

“Anything higher would collapse the reality structure.”

“Three Axiom Dominion generals from each family should be enough,” suggested the elder of the Storm-Callers.

“Even if he has a treasure, he is still a single person.”

“He cannot fight twenty-one Axiom generals at once.”

“What about the Ancestors?” asked a woman from the Solar-Flare family.

“Did yours give any command?”

The Kizuki elder looked away.

“I tried to contact our Ancestor, but I failed.”

“He is likely in a deep seclusion or busy with the affairs of the Higher Planes.”

“Moreover to eliminate a pesky bug like this boy, I do not wish to disturb him.”

“It would be a stain on our competence.”

“Agreed,” the others murmured.

“Very well,” the Kizuki elder finalized.

“We will send three Axiom Dominion generals per family.”

“We will corner him, trap him, and then we will divide his secrets equally.”

“Deal?”

“Deal.”

While the seven families mobilized their forces, Ethan was existing in a state that transcended the concept of a “protagonist.”

Inside the Space Cube, time was not a river, but a vast, stagnant ocean.

With the 100,000x time dilation, the outside world’s ten days were a staggering 2740 years for Ethan.

But Ethan wasn’t just sitting there.

He was using his infinite energy to fuel his Infinite Comprehension and his Infinite Clones.

Ethan’s body was like a boundless void.

Within this void, 10¹⁰⁰ clones of Ethan sat cross-legged.

This number, a Googol of clones, was so vast that if each clone were a grain of sand, they would fill the entire universe many times over.

Each of these clones possessed the World Seed bloodline.

And each clone was working.

Every five seconds, a clone would form a world seed.

It would infuse it with infinite energy.

Then it would plant it into Ethan’s foundation.

1…

100…

10,000…

1,000,000…

Years turned into centuries.

Ethan had long since lost track of the count.

His consciousness had merged with the collective work of his clones.

He felt like a gardener tending to a forest that spanned the entire multiverse.

Finally, 685 years passed within the time zone.

Ethan opened his eyes.

The light reflecting in his pupils was no longer just the light of a star.

It was the light of a Googolplex of realities.

The number of worlds within him was so high that a mortal brain would have exploded instantly just trying to think of the first digit.

“Okay,” Ethan whispered.

His voice resonated through the googol of clones.

“It is time for you to evolve together.”

He released the floodgates of his Infinite Origin Sea.

The energy consumption was beyond anything the world had ever seen.

To fuel the growth of a googolplex of worlds, Ethan pulled an amount of energy that would have turned ten thousand universes into cold, dead husks in a second.

But his energy was infinite.

As the worlds grew, something strange happened.

In physics, energy cannot be created or destroyed.

And the movement of massive amounts of energy always leads to Entropy.

It is the measure of disorder and decay.

Because Ethan was moving a Googolplex amount of energy, the entropy produced was so astronomical that it began to manifest as a physical law around him.

Gray, misty threads of decay began to swirl around the World Tree.

[Law of Entropy: 7%]

[7.00001%…]

[7.00002%…]

Ethan watched in surprise.

He had thought that after the World Tree swallowed the Creation Lotus, he would have to find a new way to study the negative laws.

But by simply doing, by simply evolving his internal worlds, the universe was forcing him to understand the cost of power.

“I see,” Ethan realized.

“Entropy is not just death.”

“It is the footprint of energy.”

For the next 275 years, he stayed in this state.

Inside his body, the world seeds were maturing at a terrifying speed.

They grew from tiny seeds into planets.

The planets birthed suns.

The suns formed galaxies.

The galaxies collided into universes.

The universes layered into Chaos-verses.

Finally, they became Paradox Domains and Dimensions.

His power was not just growing.

It was multiplying by billions every second.

He felt his physical shell becoming more durable than any Axiom Dominion weapon.

As the Law of Entropy reached 10%, Ethan’s Infinite Comprehension talent suddenly roared to life.

A golden light clashed with the gray mist of entropy.

A new realization struck him like a thunderbolt.

If Entropy was the footprint, then there had to be a foot.

If there was a law for the decay of energy, there had to be a law for the Source of Energy itself.

He fell into a deep trance.

This time, it wasn’t just 10¹⁰⁰ clones working.

It was his entire existence.

1,000 years later, a new notification appeared in his mind.

[Law of Energy: 0.01%]

BOOM!

The moment those words appeared, the entire creation shuddered.

Both the Negative Plane, the Presence’s domain, and the Positive Plane, the One Above All’s domain, trembled.

The stars in every galaxy flickered.

The gods of lower realms fell from their thrones in terror.

The Law of Energy was a Genesis Law.

It was the fundamental building block of the Cage.

To comprehend it was to hold the key to the cage’s lock.

In the highest heavens of the Positive Plane, a being of absolute light, One Above All, opened his eyes.

His expression, usually one of serene indifference, was now clouded with a rare emotion.

Confusion.

Simultaneously, in the void of the Negative Plane, The Presence paused his creation of a new reality.

He turned his gaze toward the center of the Eternal Domain.

“The second taboo has been broken,” The Presence whispered.
