Chapter 324: Preparing to enter the dungeon
When they were discussing this, Alex returned as well after hearing the alarm.

“May I ask what an inverse dungeon is?” he asked the moment he arrived.

Rose looked at Alex with narrowed eyes. How come this kid did not even know about the basic knowledge about dungeons and awakened an SSS grade talent? Everyone learned about them in school, and inverse dungeon was a major topic.

Before Rose could mock him for his ignorance, Erina stepped up beside Alex and explained everything in a brief but clear way.

Alex’s eyes widened after hearing it. His reaction was not from fear but from excitement.

His system had already given him a task. He needed to sign in inside the inverse dungeon.

“I would like to go too. My future wife is going there to risk her life, so there is no way I will sit back here.”

“Umm, Grandpa, who is his future wife? Is it Mina? Or Kate? Perhaps Freya?” Rose started listing some of the beautiful maids who would also join her in the dungeon expedition.

Alexander felt his face heat up. His innocent granddaughter had no idea Alex was talking about her. He could not bring himself to correct her. Rose clearly had nothing but disdain for Alex, even after learning he had an SSS rank talent.

Alex, however, looked at Rose with confusion.

The moment he saw Rose, his stomach fluttered with butterflies. He could not focus on anything else after that.

He was a normal boy from a normal world. He had never seen someone so beautiful in his life.

He fell in love with her the moment he laid eyes on her.

Rose stared at Alex like he was a fool.

“Kid, someone as pathetic as you is far below my league. You should try with Freya instead. I saw her staring at you with those creepy eyes.” Rose spoke casually.

The maid named Freya immediately turned red.

“Young Miss is so good to me.”

Alex felt the world no longer made any sense. What was this girl talking about?

“Lord Samael, does she not know about my talent?” Alex looked at Samael, who was looking at the roof. He suddenly found the roof very interesting.

“How come I never noticed this roof is so beautiful, hmm?” Samael muttered. He feared his sister far too much.

He had told Alex that earlier in the heat of the moment, but he regretted that instantly. He had still hoped Rose might soften after learning about Alex’s talent. But after seeing her reaction just now, there was no chance she would accept that idiot.

Ethan, on the other hand, was struggling not to laugh. If it was the bubbly Rose, she would have declined politely. If it was the cold Rose, she would have ignored him totally. But this Rose completely crushed him.

Ethan did not hate Alex for trying to court Rose. It was not his fault. Rose was incredibly beautiful and Samael had foolishly told him he would give Rose’s hand to him. No wonder a toad wanted to eat swan meat after that.

Rose looked at Ethan.

“Hey, lackey, come here. You will hold my sword inside the dungeon. It is too heavy for someone as beautiful as me to carry.”

Rose did not know why, but after Ethan ignored her earlier, she felt an odd urge to pull him closer or simply force his attention.

This time, Ethan did not ignore her. He definitely planned to enter the dungeon with her. He would not let her go alone.

“Alright, I will hold your sword if you speak to me respectfully. Call me Ethan,” he said.

Rose felt a spark of happiness inside, though she did not let it show.

“Alright, I will show you some respect for this mission only, Kid Ethan.” She walked away humming softly.

Ethan could only shake his head.

“Why do I feel Rose is interested in that kid in a strange way?” Eva wondered.

Erina remained at Alex’s side.

“Do not feel bad, Alex. I am sure if you give her some time to get familiar with you, she will treat you kindly. She is a good person,” she said, trying to comfort him.

Alex looked at Erina with teary eyes. She suddenly appeared like an angel. He wanted to hug her and cry, but he held back.

Alex turned to Alexander.

“Sir, I still want to go inside. Brother Ethan is going too. I will stay with him. I am sure Miss Rose will protect him and that means I will not be hurt.”

Alexander thought for a moment and then nodded. He could not keep Alex locked inside the house forever. Alex needed to face the world.

“Alright, get ready. We will leave in fifteen minutes.”

There were fourteen boys and girls in the Aurelion family who were under eighteen.

They were all cousins of Samael and Rose. And there 5 maids and servants too who were going to enter with them.

Rose wore an exquisite black battle suit from head to toe.

Everyone else wore similar suits. Only Ethan and Alex did not have one.

Samael handed them each a suit.

“Wait, Brother, I will give Ethan’s suit. He is my lackey, so he should wear what I choose for him.”

She brought out a sleek black battle suit.

“Is that the Pandora series battle suit? The same one Rose is wearing?” one of her cousins asked in shock.

“Yes. That is the second Pandora suit meant for her future husband. Grandpa bought both suits for her from the Pandora company specially. Does that mean she and that F ranked guy…?”

Alex overheard their whispers and stared at the suit with hungry eyes.

Ethan looked at him with disdain.

Alex shut his mouth on the spot. Men really were dogs. The moment they saw a chance, they betrayed without hesitation.

Rose did not care what anyone said. Husband or not, no man alive was worthy of her. She simply wanted to keep her lackey safe.

After everyone finished preparing, they boarded a flying ship. In ten minutes, they reached the center of the city where the gate had appeared.

Everyone disembarked.

Ethan saw many young people wearing various battle suits, all of them showing clear nervousness.

Suddenly he spotted Elindros and twenty young hunters behind him.

The moment Elindros saw Ethan, his killing intent erupted violently.

But before it could reach Ethan, a supreme pressure crushed it instantly.
