Chapter 301: Sofia
“Your Majesty, the Valeria Empire from the south has sent us a letter. They said it is very urgent.”

On the grand throne sat the emperor of the Aurion Empire.

Surprisingly, he was just an eighteen-year-old young man or at least he looked like one.

“Read it,” the young man ordered calmly.

“Yes, Your Majesty.”

The messenger started reading the letter.

“To the Emperor of the Aurion Empire, Your Majesty,

Our empire has the most capable healer in the human realm. He is capable of reviving the dead, I have seen it with my own eyes.

We asked him to go to the Aurion Empire, but he is very arrogant and refuses to leave. He demanded that the patient be brought to him instead.

We would have forced him, but he has a brother—the Sword God of the Divine Palace. We cannot defeat him, and while he is here, we cannot touch the healer.

I told the Sword God about the Aurion Empire, but he said he will go to war if any empire dares to interfere. I am sending his official letter as well.”

The messenger then read the letter sent by the Divine Palace to the Valeria Empire.

The entire room fell silent.

“What do you think we should do?”

The young emperor looked at everyone before him.

“Your Majesty, this is clearly blasphemy toward our empire. We should send an army to destroy the Divine Palace and then force that doctor to come here,” one minister said.

The young man smiled.

“How do you know that the emperor of that empire is telling the truth?”

“Your Majesty, do you think the emperor is lying to us just to make us kill his enemy? Can a little emperor from a small empire have that kind of courage?” another minister asked doubtfully.

“Who knows? He is not one of us. We can’t believe him blindly. Maybe he wants his enemy dead, even if it means his own death. There could be many other possibilities. Go, send her to find out the truth.”

As soon as the emperor said that, the entire room fell silent again. It was as if he had said something he shouldn’t have.

“Your Majesty, you want to send her for such a small matter?”

The young man on the throne smiled.

“Perhaps you would like to send the Ancestor then?”

Instantly, everyone stood from their seats and knelt on the ground.

“We would never dare to even think that!”

“I’m just joking. Go and inform her. This Sword God surely seems problematic.”

In the largest forest of the Aurion Empire, there was a small, peaceful house at its center.

“Master, I’ve learned the Primal Chaos Breathing Technique. Can I start my cultivation now?” a young boy asked eagerly.

The middle-aged woman beside him was the most beautiful woman in the empire—perhaps in the entire human realm.

She smiled softly.

“Why are you so eager to start cultivation?”

“So that I can become strong soon and protect you if someone tries to harm you,” the little boy said earnestly.

“Is that so? Do you think there’s anyone out there who can harm me?”

“No, Master, but the Ancestor is said to be stronger than you. Though I don’t really understand the power scale people talk about when they describe you two.”

The woman’s beautiful face carried a hint of sorrow.

“That old man left his throne about two billion years ago when a cosmic demon threatened to destroy humanity. After killing that demon with just a gentle tap of his finger, he never moved again.

He is indeed stronger than me.”

Suddenly, the woman looked outside.

“Why are they coming here?”

Soon, a group of five people appeared in front of the house. They were the five most powerful individuals in the empire, yet their bodies trembled as they stood before her. They had come to deliver a message.

“Your Highness, His Majesty has sent a letter and requested that you read it,” the leader said with great difficulty.

“Why is that brat contacting me suddenly?” the woman thought.

With a wave of her hand, the letter vanished from the man’s grasp and appeared in hers.

“Aunt, I heard there’s a healer who can even revive the dead. But he refuses to come to our empire and has a powerful brother. If we send our soldiers, they’ll die needlessly. I was hoping you could go and bring that healer here.”

The woman’s gentle expression turned cold. She snorted softly.

“Huh? Refused to come to our empire? I would very much like to meet this healer and his brother.”

“Aren, keep practicing. Once I return, I’ll give you permission to cultivate.”

The little boy nodded and went inside his room.

She was none other than Sofia the Supreme, the second strongest being in all of humanity.

Sofia vanished from her place and appeared in the palace.

“Eryndor, are you sure you want me to take action? If the Ancestor becomes angry with me, you’ll have to handle him. You’re the only one he truly cares for.”

“Aunt, my instincts tell me that if I send my soldiers, none of them will return. That’s why I want you to handle this personally.”

“Alright then. I’ll leave now.” She vanished once again.

In the Sun Kingdom,

Rey was practicing with the sword that Ethan had gifted him two years ago. He had discovered that the sword was also a legacy weapon, on par with the 99-Floored Legacy Tower where he once took the trial.

He didn’t know where Ethan had found it, but it was truly worthy of the Sword God.

Suddenly, an unfamiliar aura entered his detection range. It was vast and unrestrained.

In an instant, the presence appeared before him.

“Are you the Sword God? The brother of the best healer in the empire?”

Rey heard a melodious voice in front of him.

But he didn’t have time to admire it, because she hadn’t come with good intentions.
