Chapter 298: Rey got accepted
Ethan could now finish 10k cycles in a day, which meant he could get 1000 mammoth-level strength.

He didn’t know the power scale of the world, though. He would be able to know once Rey got into the sect.

The next morning, everyone was ready to go. They had a light meal at breakfast and went to the center of the city.

Park had already gathered information that the recruiting process would be conducted in two phases: first, a talent check; second, one-on-one battle.

A punch landed on Rey’s face. Rey felt like a car hit him.

“So young and this vicious? How would you conduct yourself when you become adult?” Rey heard a voice.

It was not Nick but someone older than him.

“Brother, thank you for teaching him a lesson,” Nick chimed in.

“Don’t destroy the family reputation or else I’ll skin you alive. Do you understand?” the man said coldly.

Nick instantly became frightened.

“I am sorry, brother. But it was his fault. He cursed me first,” Nick complained.

Iliana ran toward him.

“Rey, are you alright?” Tears already started coming out. She became frightened by the sudden attack.

Rey wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and stood up. He just coldly looked at the young man who hit him but didn’t say anything else. He knew he was not a match for him and if he did something out of the line, even Ethan might be implicated.

So he went back into the line and stood up. Iliana also followed him.

Nick smirked, “That’s right. You should have known your place. But that girl will belong to me and you will go to the grave, because you have humiliated me in front of all these people.”

The man who had just attacked Rey, flew away like a rag doll, then slammed on the ground and fell silent. No one knew if he was alive or dead.

Everyone looked at the attacker who had just made that young man fly away.

“No one touches my brother. I’ll make him disappear from the world.”

Ethan followed him because he became worried for him.
