Chapter 279: Hunter Guild
Since when Rose heard Ethan’s bold words earlier about letting her do anything she wanted and that he would protect her, her heart was beating like a war drum.

Ethan patted her head. “Don’t worry. I think you will, but even if you don’t, I’ll make you so powerful that no one would be able to hurt you anymore.”

Rose felt a sweetness in her chest when she heard this.

“Thank you,” she muttered slowly.
