Chapter 276: Another version of Rose
The Moon Kingdom was very far away. At least three light years away.

Ethan was going there by walking. He didn’t want any kind of attention right now by flying at his full speed.

It wouldn’t take much time anyway.

Three days passed by without any events.

He looked at his panel:

He finally arrived at the Moon Kingdom. The kingdom was not much bigger, but it was still the size of the Earth’s solar system.

There were some forests on his way, so he killed some powerful monsters in those forests and sold them in an adventurer guild in a city. He would need money if he wanted to do anything in this world.

He paid 5000 coins at the gate of the kingdom to enter.

After entering, Ethan started walking directly toward the location.

He was currently in a country of the kingdom. He needed to go to the center of the kingdom. That was the capital.

He arrived there in no time.

In the capital, the entire city was in a festive mood right now.

He asked a passerby,

“What is the festival?”

“The youngest princess just turned fifteen, so the capital is having a festival to celebrate her birthday. She is said to be the most beautiful girl in the entire kingdom.

As she had become an adult, she is now available for marriage. Different kingdoms are also going to attend the birthday ceremony soon and they had send many princes over the last few days, so the festival is the grandest festival I have ever seen in my life.”

Ethan nodded in understanding. The normal passerby he just asked the question had the strength of a Martial Master on Earth and didn’t have any kind of energy in his body.

He was just a normal person, that’s all.

“If someone from this world could enter Earth, he would become a superman, no doubt about it,” Ethan smiled.

“So the youngest princess in this kingdom has become an adult. Is she the one I am looking for?” he muttered.

Ethan started walking toward the royal palace of the kingdom.

Though only the invited guests could join the ceremony, Ethan would use his power to enter. No problem.

But suddenly he sensed his karmic connection was coming toward his direction.

Ethan stopped mid-step and started waiting for the person to reach him.

He would soon know who he was looking for. After five minutes of waiting, a young girl was running toward him and her face was covered by the extended portion of her cloth.

“That’s the person. Who is she? How can someone in this unknown world be related to me?”, Ethan muttered.

The girl didn’t stop running and crashed into Ethan. Ethan didn’t dodge. He wanted to know who that girl was.

“Ouch, ouch! Excuse me, mister! Can’t you watch ahead when you stand on the middle of the road? Or are you blind?”

She was cursing Ethan, but the man was so stunned when he looked at her face that he almost forgot to talk.

That was Rose. A younger version of Rose. Ethan was mesmerized for a moment.

He had seen many beautiful girls in his journey, some from different races too, but none could make him like them.

But when it came to Rose, his lower body always felt hot for some reason.

Ethan didn’t even realize that the girl had already stood up and was looking at him venomously.

“Hey, are you deaf too? Can’t you hear me?”

She snapped her fingers in front of him, and only then did he come to his senses.

“Rose,” he muttered the name softly.

Instantly, the girl’s face turned pale. Her eyes widened, and there was horror in her eyes.

“Who are you? How do you know my name? Are you someone sent by my father? I am telling you, if you force me to return to the palace, I’ll commit suicide. I’ll never get married!”

She didn’t see Ethan’s face as he was making his presence very thin. No one would be able to see his face clearly.

Ethan finally understood why she was running away from the palace.

“I am not someone from the palace. Your face is similar to someone I know. Are you telling me your name is also Rose?” Ethan said nonchalantly.

He already knew this was one of Rose’s soul fragments and her characteristics were totally different from the Rose he knew.

This one seemed more cheerful and bubbly, but for some reason, she was afraid of something and was on the run from the palace.

Rose had a suspicious look on her face and she blinked.

“Are you telling me the truth? You are not someone from the palace?” she asked with an innocent look.

Ethan felt an itch in his heart and wanted to hug her tightly, but he suppressed his feelings.

This girl was too naive. She believed him instantly.

But what he didn’t know was that it was not because she was naive, it was because she felt at ease in front of him and easily felt that the man was telling the truth.

“Yes, I am telling the truth. But who are you? Are you someone from the royal palace?” he asked her.

“That’s none of your business.” She stuck out her tongue and made a face.

Then she remembered she was running away from the palace and was wasting her time with an unknown man in the street. She needed to run fast.

She again started running.

“Bye, mister. Don’t crash into anyone else on the road, be careful,” she gave Ethan a piece of advice and went away.

Ethan narrowed his eyes. A slight killing intent appeared in them.

“Should I destroy the royal family so that no one could bother her anymore?”

But then he shook his head. That was her real family after all. He shouldn’t do anything without asking her.

So he started following her from a distance. He wanted to see where this bubbly Rose was going.

The other Rose was too cold and didn’t even laugh much.

Ethan had already become infatuated with this one.

Rose was running away.

“Where should I go? I don’t know anyone outside who could help me. And if someone sees me, I won’t be able to run and would have to marry one of those bastards my brother has sent.

She was running and muttering to herself. Tears were rolling down her eyes.

The Moon Kingdom was very big, and leaving the kingdom just by running would be very difficult for her.

But she couldn’t use any vehicles or anything. After a full day of running and hiding from people, finally she was at her limit.

She sat in an alley and started crying. She was hungry and tired, but she couldn’t go to any hotel or restaurant. Besides, she didn’t have any money.

“I’d rather die than get married.” Suddenly her face turned resolute.

The royal palace had already deployed thousands of royal soldiers to find Rose.

She had already seen some soldiers checking different transports on the way.

Her eyes felt heavy. She had never done any physical training since childhood. Her brother never let her do that. He always said that would make her body manly.

Rose loved her brother dearly and thought he also loved her, and that’s why he was not letting her do any physical training and hardship. But now she knew why that bastard did that.
