Chapter 273: Dimension Master
“Why would a seventh-dimensional being try to control Earth? Or did he have something else planned?”

Ethan was thinking deeply in his room.

He was still far from the power of a seventh-dimensional being, yet he was genuinely impressed that his system could protect him from such a terrifying existence.

“Thanks, system.”

[You are welcome, master.]

Ethan sighed, feeling a bit bored. The silence of his chamber felt heavy, so he thought about going out to visit more worlds within the Prime Reality.

Exploring new realms always fascinated him, as each world carried unique powers, laws, and mysteries. Absorbing those different powers made him stronger, more adaptable, and more unpredictable than anyone else.

However, two problems immediately came to mind.

First, the rulers of the Prime Reality might detect him if he started traveling again, and if that happened, they would definitely attack him.

Second, if that seventh-dimensional being decided to send his pawns to Earth while he was away, there would be no one left strong enough to defend the planet.

But Ethan quickly realized something important. That being was working in secret. It was unlikely that he would attack openly, as it would reveal his plans. However, Ethan’s family might become a target if the being acted through his pawns.

“Looks like they should stay in the battlefield as long as possible,” Ethan muttered.

Different worlds offered him different forms of power. Every world had its own rules, energies, and treasures, and Ethan wanted to visit as many as possible to enrich his arsenal. One day, he would ascend to the higher dimensions, and when that time came, he wanted to be as strong as he was now—if not stronger.

He instructed one of his shadow army to ensure his family remained inside the battlefield for safety. Once everything was arranged, he left the barrier. It was a one-way barrier, anyone could leave, but no one above Tier 18 could enter.

Ethan was ready to activate his Dimension Master form the moment he stepped outside, expecting an ambush. But to his surprise, no one attacked him.

“What’s going on? Did no one find out about me? Or are they simply not taking me seriously?” He frowned. “Do they think I’m not worthy of their caution or elimination?”

The thought irritated him deeply. He felt insulted.

“Maybe I should destroy a few universes to remind those bastards of who I am,” he smirked in his mind and then he left again.

Still, his assumption was wrong this time. It wasn’t that the rulers didn’t want to track him down, they simply couldn’t. His existence had transcended their perception. Only a Tier 25 or higher being could locate him now, and those entities had their own cosmic problems to deal with.

Ethan, unaware of this, flew through space while humming softly. Stars and galaxies blurred around him like streaks of silver light.

He decided to find a new world to visit, hoping to gain another powerful gift or law from it.

He soon left the universe and entered the vast Chaos Sea. But just as he was scanning the area, a colossal Chaos Beast lunged at him.

“Holy moly! I almost forgot that this Prime Reality also has a Chaos Sea in this Chaos Verse. So that means Chaos Beasts too,” he said, grinning. “If Nexus could absorb some powerful Chaos Beasts, he would evolve further.”

Nexus, his general of the shadow army, wasn’t very helpful to him anymore. Compared to Ethan’s current level, it was weak.

“Let’s hunt,” Ethan said calmly.

He spread out his mental domain, which had reached an unimaginable level—27 trillion Paradox Domain power. Scanning this entire Chaos Verse was effortless for him.

The power scale of this realm was much higher than the other Chaos Verses he had explored. The strongest being here was a Tier 24 Chaos Beast.

“That guy’s too strong for now. I’ll hunt some weaker ones first,” he said with a smile.

But his smile faded almost instantly. The space around him suddenly locked down. Even teleportation became impossible.

“Senior, may I know what you want from me?” Ethan asked, pretending to be calm and innocent.

He knew immediately that a supreme power had arrived. Normally, he could easily escape from a Tier 23 or even Tier 24 existence through teleportation, but this time he was trapped.

“Anomaly, you finally decided to leave the barrier. Come with me if you don’t want to die,” an ancient, thunderous voice echoed throughout the Chaos Sea.

“Damn that old bastard,” Ethan thought, his expression still calm.

“Senior, what are you talking about? What anomaly?” he asked, still acting as if he was clueless.

“Don’t play games with me. If you don’t come willingly, I’ll have to force you and that won’t end well for you,” the ancient voice warned again.

Before Ethan could respond, another majestic voice cut through the air.

“No, no, big guy, calm down. He should come with me. What would he do with an old fossil like you?”

The space trembled again.

“So these ancient fossils want to capture me? Why? Because I overturned the river of destiny in the Prime Reality?” Ethan smirked. “Looks like I’ll have to teach them a lesson.”

Five or six more powerhouses appeared, each radiating oppressive energy that distorted the surrounding Chaos Sea. All of them demanded Ethan to follow them.

Ethan’s patience was running out. He was about to unleash his ultimate weapon when suddenly, everything stopped.

Time stopped. Fate stopped. Karma stopped. Life and death themselves froze.

Someone far superior had arrived.

“He should come with me. None of you can handle the anomaly properly,” a voice spoke, calm yet filled with absolute authority.

It was the voice of a ruler, one whose word was law. There was no room for negotiation.

“Palace Master, as you wish. We will leave,” the others said in unison.

As they withdrew, a vast portal opened in front of Ethan. A gigantic hand emerged from it, reaching out to seize him.

Ethan sighed. “Dimension Master.”

Boom!

His aura erupted like a cataclysmic storm, shaking the entire dimension. His perception expanded rapidly tenfold, hundredfold, a thousandfold, spreading across creation itself.

Soon, his awareness covered one trillion Paradox Domains, yet the entirety of reality still stretched beyond.

While Ethan was transforming, the rulers were frozen in place, their faces twisted in horror.

“What is this aura? Has he really stepped into that realm already?” one of them stammered.

“It’s not fair! I was on the verge of entering that realm myself. If I had, I could have unified the entire third dimension!”

The Palace Master, a Tier 26 peak existence, trembled. He had been unable to break through because the dimension itself refused him permission to become its master.

But Ethan… Ethan had stepped into that realm effortlessly, as if destiny itself had opened the path for him.

His power continued to soar. His perception expanded beyond 100 sextillion Paradox Domains, until finally, he touched the very edge of reality. The Prime Reality contained about 100 septillion Paradox Domains, yet Ethan’s consciousness had already surpassed it.

He was no longer bound by any dimension. Ethan had transcended the Prime Reality itself—now gazing over the entire Third Dimension like a god watching his creation.
