Chapter 260: Maxim died
Alexander was observing everyone from above.

Those from the Holmes family who were already captured were all from the servants’ family.

No person from the direct bloodline was captured yet.

But he was worried for another reason. If he started killing his family members while catching Maxim, then he would become a human nuclear bomb, which could destroy the entire humanity in mere minutes.

“What to do? If I don’t act quickly, Maxim would be out of my hand, and if he went crazy, then…

But I will have to catch him. That supreme existence is waiting.”

He was under tremendous pressure now.

7-8 billion normal people had no idea about the supernaturals of the world. They wouldn’t even know how they had died.

The cultivators normally didn’t kill normal people, as that would earn them negative karma. If all their good karma was gone and their negative karma became the dominant one, they would fall into the demonic path.

Their senses would be lost. They would turn into mindless killers.

But what if Maxim’s whole family died? Would he still remain in his sane condition? Of course not.

He needed a solution as soon as possible. At least the information on where Maxim was at this point.

But if a Martial Saint wanted to hide from another Saint, would it be possible for the other one to find him?

But what if the other one had someone backing him up who was a system user, and that system knew every piece of information there was to know?

Ethan also thought of that same possibility that Alexander thought of.

So he just asked Maxim’s information from the system, and he got it.

When Alexander was on the verge of breaking down under pressure, a little piece of paper appeared in his hand.

He was stunned when something appeared in his hand out of nowhere.

He even got a little fright, thinking someone had sneaked something into his hand.

With the fastest speed, he opened his hand and saw a piece of paper.

Alexander opened the folded paper slowly and instantly bowed toward an unknown direction.

That person surely was someone above the God Realm.

The paper contained a little information—it was the information on where Maxim was right now.

Oymyakon, Russia.

It was an extremely cold place in Russia, as well as low populated.

“So, that’s where you are hiding,” Alexander thought to himself.

Now everything depended on him. That being even gave him the location; if now he couldn’t capture Maxim, then he should really die.

He called the other three Martial Saints and five Emperors, then they all headed toward Russia.

They would have to hurry. If Maxim had any kind of suspicion, he would flee on the spot, and who knows? He might start a massacre.

Ethan was in his room when he looked outside. The grandfather of his was really getting older. His growth had stopped already.

Ethan could tell his identity and heal him, but that would make the rulers of this reality know that someone from this reality had made contact with someone whose identity they couldn’t find out even with the law of karma.

So Ethan was waiting to handle everything through Alexander.

As for why he revealed his power to Alexander, it was because he had already integrated with the law, so he had some sort of right to know some secrets, which wouldn’t create a problem for Ethan.

Anna knocked at Ethan’s door.

“Do you want to go out with us? Erina wanted to go out to eat,” she asked from outside.

Ethan opened the door and said, “Okay, mom. Let’s go.”

“Okay, get ready. We will leave in 30 minutes,” Anna left after saying that.

Ethan got ready and went out.

Erina also came out from her room.

“Brother, let’s have ramen today. We couldn’t have that day.”

Ethan wanted to stop her, but it was late. Anna heard her.

“Which day?” she asked.

Erina became petrified instantly.

She was about to speak when Ethan started talking.

“It’s nothing. Two days ago, a person from a ramen shop came to advertise that he would treat 100 people for free. Erina wanted to go, but I forbade her.”

Ethan’s word was always convincing, so Anna didn’t doubt much and went inside her room.

Erina’s face got some color after that.

Ethan gave her a light slap on the back of her head.

“Sorry, brother. I almost blew up.”

Ethan gave a light smile, “Be careful from next time.”

“Thank you, brother.”

Anna came out from her room, and the three of them went outside with their car.

The village they were in was close to Tokyo, so they didn’t take long to reach Tokyo, the most populated city in the world.

“Brother, I want to watch the new Demon Slayer movie.”

Ethan coughed a few times and looked at his mother.

Anna asked, “What Demon Slayer movie?”

She didn’t know there was an anime named after the demon slayers.

“Mother, it’s an animated movie. Let’s go. I am sure you will enjoy it.”

Anna said, “You two go and watch then. I have an important job to do. I’ll pick you from the theatre.”

“Sure.”

Both of them nodded.

Anna left them, and the two of them went to watch the movie, but Ethan immediately saw there were three Viscount-level vampires in the front row.

“Marcus and his family vanished from here. Duke Lina is very angry. We need to find out information as soon as possible.”

“So these three are searching for that vampire. Where are they coming from anyway? The entire solar system is in an alternate reality. So are they creatures from Earth? Maybe Earth has some secret realms or something,” Ethan thought to himself.

“I really want to scan the entire planet, but that would ruin the fun of mystery for me.”

Then both of them sat in their seats and started watching the movie.

In the meantime, Alexander and others arrived at the location.

There were some people, around 300-400.

Now they were thinking about how to save these people.

Maxim would surely attack these people if he were cornered.

“You three, be ready to save everyone. I am going to attack him now.”

Alexander had already located the place where Maxim was right now, as the paper had the house number too.

Boom!

He attacked without hesitation.

“Maxim, your fate is sealed. You should complain about your luck to clash against someone you shouldn’t have.”

“Alexander, you bastard. How did you find out my location? Even if you did, should you be ruthless to me? We are friends for thousands of years.”

Alexander snorted coldly, “And yet, you concealed such crucial information from your old friend. So what can I do for you?”

Maxim also attacked. Alexander saw a young man in the basement of this house. That young man should be his main target, as he was going through the process of merging a new martial spirit right now.

Alexander caught Maxim’s shoulder and flew into the atmosphere. He didn’t want to battle with him here.

Though Maxim wanted to resist, some external power was helping Alexander. He felt really weak right now.

Ethan’s clone used some of his mental pressure on him to make things easier for Alexander.

After they went to space, they battled throughout the space.

But Ethan’s clone was not interested in the battle. He was more interested in the young man who was merging his martial spirit.

He smiled and appeared in the basement.

As soon as he appeared, Sherlock’s merging process instantly went berserk.

The real owner of the martial spirit was here. How could it not want to go to him?

Sherlock puked blood. His mind went messy, and he died without even knowing why he died.

The twelve-winged seraphim appeared from his body and started floating in the air. It was a magnificent martial spirit.

Ethan absorbed the spirit into his body, and countless memories started to merge with his brain.

This spirit was really a cheat-like power. If he had not been stripped away from this martial spirit, he could still have become a Supreme powerhouse in the future.

Its main job was to absorb its enemy’s cultivation and refine it, then add it to its owner.

He was really an anomaly. But who knew? If he had this martial spirit, then maybe he wouldn’t have got the system.

He wouldn’t keep the martial spirit for himself. It was now useless to him, but he would give it to his sister. With this cheat-like thing, she would become powerful very soon.

His job was done, and he took over Sherlock’s face after destroying his body.

The battle in space was almost over. Maxim was not a match for Alexander.

He killed him and came in front of Ethan, who was now closing his eyes as if still in the merging process.

Alexander took Sherlock and flew away. He needed to go to Japan now.
