Chapter 256: I want you to work under me
The entire island was in panic mode. Ethan wanted to know how this entire occurrence would be dealt with.

The entire world economical heads were present here.

The Kaiju arrived at the surface and roared.

Bob pissed in his pants instantly. “Mr. Kane please save me,” he started wailing.

Dave looked at Ethan. He was the son of an arms dealer, so he was not a crybaby like Bob.

“Mr. Hunt, what is the situation? Can you assess the strength of the monster?”

Ethan was surprised to see that Dave was very calm in this condition.

“Mr. Johnson, you sure are calm in this condition. And the monster is very, very powerful. My guess is, it is at least a Martial Emperor or above level monster.”

This time Dave’s face turned pale with fear.

A Martial Emperor was a myth to normal people, even if they had money. They were simply not worthy to see a Martial Emperor. As for Martial Saints, some people on earth even worshiped them as gods.

So it was a fair fight. The tycoons who were on the island were all hiding behind their protectors and the protectors fell into panic. The battle impact was so great that it almost blew them apart.

They were holding their ground with great difficulty.

Alexander came to Ethan and said, “Young man, I would like to talk to you privately, if you have some time.”

It was a surprise for everyone, Alexander was a person who had Martial Grandmasters as his guards, so him talking to a rookie demon slayer this politely didn’t add up to their sense.

Ethan nodded and looked at Dave.

“Mr. Johnson, if you don’t mind, can you wait a bit?”

Dave instantly nodded his head.

Then Ethan and Alexander entered a private room in the palace.

As soon as they entered the room, the room automatically locked up.

Ethan knew it was Alexander who did it. But he didn’t say anything.

Alexander looked at Ethan’s eyes and said calmly, “You are a cultivator and not a demon slayer. Am I right? And you are a pretty strong cultivator.”

Ethan just gave a smile and said, “I don’t know what you are talking about. I am a demon slayer, you can ask the Association, Earth Hashira Ryo would vouch for me.”

Ethan looked surprised, “How do you know so much Mr. Bellingham? Are you also a cultivator, playing business tycoon?”

“Alexander Bellingham, a mere Martial Saint is not even worthy to carry my shoe and you are threatening my family? How bold you are. Probably you have lived long enough and don’t want to live anymore?” Ethan asked calmly.

Alexander wanted to beg for mercy but under this pressure all his muscles were frozen up and he couldn’t even open his mouth. He thought he would die today.

But then the pressure was suddenly gone.

“I want you to work under me. If you are up for the task, then I’ll spare your life.”

“Yes sir. I will,” he didn’t even think before answering.
