Chapter 431: The Gui Clan’s Secret (1)
In the surveillance camera room, two guards saw Gui Ying suddenly disappear from the suite. Without changing his expression, one of them picked up his phone and dialed a number.

A few seconds later, he said, “Boss, the ancestor is going out to play again.”

Receiving the report, Ke Ting calmly responded, “Got it.”

Ending the call, Ke Ting turned to Gui Xiaoxu.

Before he could speak, Gui Xiaoxu asked, “Gui Ying is going out again?”

Ke Ting nodded, then Gui Xiaoxu added, “Let him go. He must be bored staying at home all the time.”

Hearing this, Ke Ting raised his brows slightly and responded, “Understood.”

Meanwhile, Gui Ying followed Bai Hanyun’s aura and traveled to the suburbs of Fu Cheng Town.

A split second before he appeared, Feng Wu sensed a heavy yin energy approaching at a very fast speed. Without hesitation, he drew his sword.

As his sword pointed to the empty spot beside Bai Hanyun, Gui Ying suddenly appeared and saw a sword placed on his neck.

Raising his brows slightly, Gui Ying looked at Feng Wu and clicked his tongue. “Feng Wu, we didn’t see each other for a few days, and this is how you are going to treat this young master?”

Seeing that it was Gui Ying, Feng Wu withdrew his sword and calmly responded, “Young Master Gui, you shouldn’t have appeared like that. If not for this subordinate’s skillful control, you might have died the second you appeared here.”

Gui Ying rolled his eyes at Feng Wu’s words and threw him something. “Take it. Count it as this young master’s gift for you.”

Opening the cord of the small jade bottle, Feng Wu poured out the contents and saw the pearly white pills. Looking at Gui Ying, he asked, “Young Master Gui, what is this?”

Gui Ying smiled and lazily explained, “It’s Rejuvenation Pills. Consuming it can restore your stamina and internal energy to peak conditions. For people who train their internal energy and often stand on the battlefield, these Rejuvenation Pills can save their lives in an emergency while battling enemies.”

Sitting beside him, Bai Hanyun raised her brows and curiously asked, “Gui Ying, since when have you become so kind and generous? You are not planning something bad again, are you?”

Sensing her doubt, Gui Ying snorted and lifted his chin proudly. “This young master has been kind and generous since this young master was born.”

Bai Hanyun chuckled at his childish behavior, then asked doubtfully, “Really? I don’t think you have ever been so generous toward me before.”

Glancing at her, Gui Ying snorted. “Hmph, it’s because you are the one who was unkind toward this young master at first.”

Rolling her eyes at him, Bai Hanyun retorted, “You stole my merit. Why should I be kind toward a thief?”

Recalling his dark past, Gui Ying quickly took something out of his spatial ring and threw it toward Bai Hanyun. “Alright, alright. Take this. Stop complaining.”

“What is this?” Bai Hanyun asked as she opened the small box.

The moment she opened the box, Bai Hanyun saw a few talismans inside. Turning to Gu Ying, she asked, “Why do you give me these talismans?”

Gui Ying pouted and sighed, “It’s so boring here. This young master wants to go back. Fairy Bai, when will you send this young master back?”

Listening to his complaints, Bai Hanyun said in confusion, “There are so many entertainments and delicious food here. How could it be boring?”

Gui Ying rolled his eyes and muttered, “That brat indeed gives this young master delicious food and phone, but he spends all his time working and has no time to bring this young master out to look around.”

Looking at Bai Hanyun, Gui Ying groaned and added, “Fairy Bai, you don’t know—mushrooms almost grow on top of this young master’s head already. If this young master stays in that bedroom for a few more minutes, this young master will turn into a mushroom myself!”

After Gui Ying finished his complaint, Bai Hanyun burst out laughing. “Ha ha ha ha!”

Displeased seeing Bai Hanyun laughing so much that she was practically rolling on the couch, Gui Ying harrumphed and crossed his arms. “Fairy Bai, are you polite?”

Wiping the tears off the corner of her eyes, Bai Hanyun gasped for breath and replied, “Gui Ying, I just realized that you are very funny.”

Unhappy with her words, Gui Ying rolled his eyes again.

Seeing this, Bai Hanyun said, “If you keep rolling your eyes, your eyes will look like dead fish’s eyes.”

Gui Ying snorted at her, then asked, “Enough with the laugh. Just answer this young master’s question. When can we return to my world?”

Bai Hanyun took a few deep breaths to calm down, then pondered for a moment before saying, “I still have a few things to do here, and we still need to wait for the Yang Mirror to accumulate enough merit before he can open the space portal.”

“Calculating the time, it should take a few more days before I can go back to that world.” Bai Hanyun paused, then asked, “Why? Are you in such a hurry to go back?”

Seeing that Gui Ying had fallen silent, realization flickered in Bai Hanyun’s eyes. “No way—do you actually have something important to do back in that world?”

Gui Ying glanced at her, then replied, “This young master needs to return so this young master can save my granduncle’s last descendant. He doesn’t have much time left, and every second of delay lowers his chance of survival.”

After listening to his explanation, Bai Hanyun’s curiosity grew, and she asked further, “Since it was your granduncle, his descendant should be someone from that world. How could they be living in this world instead?”

Knowing she wouldn’t help unless he told her the truth, Gui Ying sighed and explained, “The reason you encountered the Yang Mirror in the first place was because my grandfather begged the Yang Mirror to send my granduncle to another world.”

“Why? Isn’t living in that world better for members of your clan?” Bai Hanyun asked in confusion.
