Before he could exit WeChat, Gui Ying sent another message: [This young master wants roasted duck and bubble milk tea. Bring some back. This young master wants the roasted duck and bubble milk tea from the restaurant near your office.]

Gui Xiaoxu chuckled at the message.

Dialing a number, he waited for the call to connect before saying, “Prepare roasted duck and bubble milk tea for my cousin. Buy from the restaurant near the Gui Group’s headquarters.”

When the steward heard this, he couldn’t help thinking, ‘It seems Young Master Gui Ying loves sweets. I should inform the chefs to prepare more desserts and sweet drinks at home.’

Hearing this, Feng Wu stopped what he was doing and turned around. Smiling at Bai Hanyun, he said, “Good morning, Fairy Bai. Brother Hua just sent us breakfast. This subordinate was about to take it out.”

Bai Hanyun walked up to him and saw a variety of food she liked on the kitchen counter. Noticing that Feng Wu was almost done, she said, “I will help you bring these out.”

With that, Bai Hanyun placed a big plate of steamed meat buns, a pitcher of hot soymilk, and two glasses onto a tray, then carried it to the dining table.

After she took a seat and filled the two glasses with soymilk, Feng Wu walked out of the kitchen with another tray filled with a big bowl of porridge, a few side dishes, two sets of chopsticks, and two bowls.

Sitting in front of her, Feng Wu placed everything between them and scooped a bowl of porridge for Bai Hanyun before scooping one for himself. He then waited for Bai Hanyun to take the first bite before he began eating.

Noticing Bai Hanyun’s backpack on the empty seat beside her, Feng Wu asked, “Fairy Bai, are you going out today?”

Bai Hanyun nodded and explained, “Mhm. I’m going to town today. I want to find Master Li at Gu Bao Antique Store. I’m planning to open an antique store, so I need to learn about the market prices and trends before finding a suitable store.”

Feng Wu was only good at fighting and knew nothing about business, so he could only nod while listening to Bai Hanyun’s explanation.

When she finished speaking, he asked, “Fairy Bai, can this subordinate accompany you?”

Thinking about how they had to stay at home these past two days, Bai Hanyun agreed. “Of course. With you around, I will feel safer, and Brother Hua’s workload can be lessened.”

Eager to go out, Feng Wu ate faster, and they finished all the food in less than twenty minutes.

After Bai Hanyun put the dirty dishes into the dishwasher, she said, “Done. Let’s go.”

Leaving the house, Bai Hanyun went to knock on Hua Yuyu’s capsule house. After waiting a few seconds, the door opened from the inside.

Seeing that it was Bao Shengjie who opened the door, Bai Hanyun asked, “Shengjie, is Brother Hua at home?”

Bao Shengjie nodded and stepped aside. “Yes. Fairy Bai, would you like to come in first?”

Bai Hanyun felt embarrassed to enter since it was a man’s house and politely declined. “No need. I just want to inform Brother Hua that I’m going to town.”

After thinking it over, Bai Hanyun agreed with Hua Yuyu. “Alright.”

Hearing her agreement, Hua Yuyu handed the car keys to Wang Kaimu. “Kaimu, go and drive the car out.”

“Yes, Captain.” Taking the keys, Wang Kaimu headed to the garage while Hua Yuyu and the others waited in the front yard.

They didn’t wait long before Wang Kaimu drove the black SUV to a stop in front of them. After everyone got inside, Wang Kaimu asked, “Miss Bai, where do you want to go?”
