Chapter 396: Perfect Timing
While the Yang Mirror was confused by Bai Hanyun’s coughs, she was speechless at his insensitivity.

“…” He’s really a pig teammate. Can’t he understand that I don’t want him to talk about the warehouse robbery?

Bai Hanyun complained inwardly, completely forgetting that the Yang Mirror could hear her thoughts.

Unhappy at being called a pig, the Yang Mirror bounced angrily in the air and snapped, “You scolded me again! I’m not a pig!”

Realizing her mistake, Bai Hanyun cleared her throat and coaxed him, “Alright, alright, it’s my fault. I shouldn’t call you a pig when you are worried about me.”

The Yang Mirror paused, then said with a hint of pride in his voice, “It’s good that you know. Now tell me, why did you call me out?”

Reminded by the Yang Mirror’s question, Bai Hanyun said, “I want to send some supplies from my Qiankun Pouch. I wonder if you can transfer them directly into Feng Xiyan’s Qiankun Pouch.”

Hearing this, the Yang Mirror was silent for a while before replying, “It’s not impossible, but my cultivation is too low right now to establish a space tunnel between the two worlds through the Qiankun Pouches. Although I can ask my wife to help, it’s still difficult with our current cultivation.”

Bai Hanyun pondered his words, then asked, “So you mean that as long as your cultivation is higher, it wouldn’t be a problem?”

The Yang Mirror hummed. “Mhm.”

Knowing it wasn’t possible for now, Bai Hanyun nodded in understanding. “I got it.”

After saying that, she tapped the Yang Mirror’s frame twice. A second later, golden particles shrouded it, and its surface cleared.

Seeing this, a slight smile appeared on Bai Hanyun’s lips as she called softly, “Feng Xiyan, are you there?”

On the other side, Feng Xiyan heard her soft voice echo in his ears.

Glancing at the generals, Tuluo Cheng, and the nine tribe leaders, who were discussing their conquest plan around the sand table, Feng Xiyan decided to walk away.

Standing farther from the others, he answered gently, “Yun’er, I’m here.”

When Feng Wu heard Feng Xiyan’s gentle voice, his jaw nearly hit the floor.

Staring at the mirror’s dark surface, he took a deep breath and thought, ‘Is this really my Master? If Yi Bai were here, I can’t imagine what she would write in her secret notebook.’

While Feng Wu’s mind crashed from shock, Bai Hanyun asked, “Feng Xiyan, what are you doing right now? Are you busy?”

Feng Xiyan glanced back at the serious discussion behind him, then lied without blinking, “I’m not busy. What’s wrong? Do you miss me, Yun’er?”

Standing in front of Bai Hanyun, Feng Wu looked up at the ceiling and thought, ‘Heaven, Master is lying! Can I listen to this conversation? Should I run before my Master realizes I’m here?’

Unaware that Feng Wu was thinking about how to save his life from being silenced later, Bai Hanyun calmly explained, “I just bought another batch of supplies for you and want to send them over. Can you receive them now?”

Listening to her, the gears in Feng Xiyan’s mind turned at a fast speed.

‘This is a good opportunity to show the nine tribe leaders where the supplies come from, and to reinforce the belief that Heaven protects the Feng Army.’

Having made his decision, Feng Xiyan replied, “Yes. Give me a moment. I need to go to the warehouse first.”

“Alright.”

After receiving Feng Xiyan’s answer, Bai Hanyun stood up and said, “Feng Wu, let’s go to the backyard.”

“Yes, Fairy Bai.”

Grabbing the Yang Mirror, Bai Hanyun led Feng Wu to the backyard.

At the same time, Feng Xiyan returned to the sand table and said, “Fairy Bai just contacted this general and said she has prepared another batch of supplies for us.”

Hearing this, Zhan Qi’s eyes lit up.

It had been some time since Fairy Bai sent supplies. Every time she sent supplies, there would be some surprise for them included.

Curious about what kind of surprise she had prepared, Zhan Qi raised his hand and said, “Great General, please let this subordinate accompany you to the warehouse.”

Feng Xiyan was satisfied with Zhan Qi’s initiative and nodded. “Alright.”

He then looked at the others and said, “Then you guys continued. This general will receive the supplies first.”

With that, Feng Xiyan walked out of the tent, followed by the excited Zhan Qi.

Seeing this, Rong Hou looked at the other generals and asked, “Should we go with the Great General or wait here?”

Xue Ruhong pondered for a few seconds, then a faint smile appeared on his lips.

Looking at Rong Hou and the other tribe leaders, Xue Ruhong said, “Since the Great General isn’t here, we can’t continue our discussion anyway. Let’s go and see what kind of supplies Fairy Bai has sent us this time.”

Intrigued by his words, Rong Hou nodded. “General Xue is right. Then let’s go take a look.”

With his agreement, Xue Ruhong led the group toward the warehouse.

When Feng Xiyan noticed them following, he chuckled inwardly. ‘General Xue is as sharp as ever.’

Twenty minutes later, they arrived at the Feng Army’s warehouse area. After the last batch of supplies sent by Bai Hanyun, Tan Pengtai had expanded the area and built more underground warehouses to store vegetables and fruits.

Seeing Feng Xiyan and Zhan Qi approach, the captain guarding the warehouse area stepped forward and clasped his fists.

“This subordinate greets the Great General and General Zhan.”

Feng Xiyan nodded and asked, “Is there any empty warehouse left to store supplies?”

The captain nodded. “Answering the Great General. We currently have a few empty underground warehouses and more than a dozen empty storage houses for dried goods.”

Noticing Feng Xiyan’s silence, the captain quickly explained, “There have been a lot of refugees arriving lately, and the supplies are being consumed faster than usual.”

Listening to his report, Feng Xiyan couldn’t help but think that Bai Hanyun’s timing was perfect.
