Standing by the bed, Hua Yuyu looked at Ouyang Zhuangyu’s pale face.

After a moment’s hesitation, he removed the oxygen mask, pried open Ouyang Zhuangyu’s mouth, and fed him the pill. When he was done, Hua Yuyu quickly put the oxygen mask back.

Turning to Feng Wu, he asked, “What now?”

“We wait,” Feng Wu said calmly.

With no other choice, Hua Yuyu and the others stood silently, watching Ouyang Zhuangyu closely, afraid to miss even the slightest change in his condition.

Two minutes later, just as Wang Kaimu was about to lose patience, Bai Hanyun suddenly exclaimed, “Look! Brother Ouyang’s complexion has improved!”

Following her words, everyone hurried toward the bed. Standing around it, they called anxiously, “Zhuangyu, can you hear me? Zhuangyu!”

After a few calls, Ouyang Zhuangyu’s lips parted slightly. A few seconds later, his weak, hoarse voice, tinged with annoyance, echoed in the room.

“Please make way,” the chief doctor said as he entered the ward.

Seeing the doctors arrive, Hua Yuyu and the others stepped aside.

Bai Hanyun stepped back, secretly pulled Feng Wu out of the crowded ward, and asked in a low voice, “Feng Wu, do you still have this medicine?”

Feng Wu shook his head and replied, “This subordinate gave the remaining pills to my Master. My Master thought they belonged to me and refused to take them, so this subordinate had no choice but to keep one and hand over the rest to Master.”

Seeing her frown, Feng Wu asked, “Fairy Bai, do you want more of this pill?”

Bai Hanyun didn’t hide her intentions and nodded. “Mhm. You might not know, but Brother Ouyang and the others almost died protecting me from those assassins before. If we can give them some of these pills, they will have a better chance of survival during missions.”

Hearing this, Feng Wu fell into thought while Bai Hanyun sighed.

After a moment of thought, he said, “Fairy Bai, if you want them, this subordinate can try to trade for some from Young Master Gui Ying after we return to my world.”

Bai Hanyun’s eyes lit up at his words. “Really? Do you think Gui Ying will trade with you?”

In response, Feng Wu nodded. “This subordinate has a way to make Young Master Gui Ying willingly trade the pills with us.”

Noticing the confidence in his calm tone, Bai Hanyun smiled and said, “Then I will leave this matter to you. If you can get more pills, we can share them with your brothers and Feng Xiyan as well. Just tell me what you need and I will try my best to get them for you.”

“This subordinate will do his best to get more pills from Young Master Gui Ying.” Feng Wu answered with determination in his eyes.

While the two were making plans on how to cheat more pills out of Gui Ying, far away in the Bu Gui Pavilion’s headquarters, Gui Ying suddenly felt cold and sneezed.

Rubbing the back of his neck, Gui Ying muttered, “Someone must be plotting against this young master.”

Putting down his phone, he sat cross-legged on the bed. Closing his eyes, his fingers moved as he calculated fate.

A few seconds later, he opened his eyes.

Rubbing his chin, Gui Ying thought, ‘Since she wants to meet me, this young master should go and meet her.’

Having made up his mind, Gui Ying looked toward one of the surveillance cameras in the bedroom and said, “This young master has something to do. Don’t worry, this young master will be back later.”

Leaving those words behind, Gui Ying got out of bed, straightened his clothes, and snapped his fingers.

A second later, he was shrouded in black and purple mist. In the next moment, both the mist and Gui Ying disappeared.

A few seconds later, when the sensors detected no movement in the room, the alarm went off.

Soon, someone pushed open the double doors of the bedroom and looked inside. Not finding Gui Ying, he shouted, “The young master has disappeared! Quick, find him!”

While the bodyguards searched for Gui Ying throughout the Bu Gui Pavilion headquarters, Ke Ting entered the CEO’s office in a hurry.

“Boss, we just received a report that Young Master Gui Ying has disappeared from his bedroom.” Ke Ting reported.

Upon hearing this, Gui Xiaoxu froze for a second and then quickly checked the surveillance footage. After reviewing it for a while, he saw Gui Ying speaking to the camera.

Reading Gui Ying’s lip movements, Gui Xiaoxu rubbed his brows and said with a hint of relief, “He went to take care of something important. Let the bodyguards know.”

“Yes, Boss,” Ke Ting replied, then turned to leave.

Just as he took a step, Gui Xiaoxu suddenly added, “Tell the chef to prepare his meal.”

Nodding at him, Ke Ting responded, “Understood.”

Left alone in the spacious office, Gui Xiaoxu sighed again and fell into deep thought.
