Chapter 357: Who Are You?
Bai Hanyun’s heart skipped a beat when she saw Feng Wu slash his sword toward the man. Before her brain could react, she opened her lips and shouted, “Wait!”

The moment she shouted, Feng Wu’s movement paused, and he shifted his hand slightly. In the next second, the sword energy changed direction and struck a massive stone boulder nearby.

Boom!

When the dust settled, the boulder had turned into rubble.

Seeing this, the man and his group froze on the spot.

“…Oh, shit. Who is this man?”

Looking at the man who was staring at Feng Wu with a mix of fear and admiration, Bai Hanyun let out a sigh of relief and asked, “Shengjie, are you alright?”

Bao Shengjie snapped out of his daze, then looked at Bai Hanyun with joy and worry in his eyes. Walking up to her, he opened his arms to hug her. “Miss Bai, I thought I would never see you again.”

Just as Bao Shengjie was about to hug her, Feng Wu raised his sword to Bao Shengjie’s neck. His eyes under the mask narrowed as he stared coldly at Bao Shengjie.

After witnessing the destructive power of Feng Wu’s sword energy, Bao Shengjie didn’t dare to resist and took a step back.

Seeing this, Bai Hanyun patted Feng Wu’s arm and said, “Feng Wu, Shengjie is my friend. Thanks to his protection, I survived when someone tried to assassinate me.”

Hearing that, Feng Wu scanned Bao Shengjie up and down twice before retracting his sword. After sheathing it, he took two steps back and stood behind Bai Hanyun.

Now that Feng Wu had stepped back, Bai Hanyun turned to the others and asked, “Brother Hua, why are you guys here?”

Hua Yuyu had been observing Feng Wu ever since he and Bai Hanyun suddenly appeared a few minutes ago. Seeing that Feng Wu was obedient toward Bai Hanyun, Hua Yuyu decided to treat Feng Wu as an ally, at least for now.

Looking away from Feng Wu, Hua Yuyu turned to Bai Hanyun. “Miss Bai, are you alright? Where have you been these days? Why didn’t you contact us?”

Bai Hanyun sighed and replied, “It’s a long story. What about you guys? Why are you here?”

“Since your disappearance, we have been searching this area multiple times. Fortunately, we didn’t give up and came again today. Otherwise, we would be missing each other,” Hua Yuyu answered calmly.

Seeing that only Hua Yuyu, Bao Shengjie, and Wu Jun were present, Bai Hanyun remembered that Ouyang Zhuangyu had drawn the enemy’s attention to give her and Bao Shengjie time to escape from the hotel.

Not seeing him here, Bai Hanyun’s heart sank as she asked, “What about Brother Ouyang? Is he alright?”

At her question, the others’ expressions changed slightly.

Noticing this, Bai Hanyun’s expression turned serious as she pressed further, “What happened to him?”

Hua Yuyu glanced around for a few seconds and replied, “Miss Bai, this isn’t a good place to talk. Let’s leave before the people from the Yu Group and Gui Group arrive.”

Bai Hanyun frowned at his words. She could understand why the Yu Group was searching for her since they had a business deal. However, what about the Gui Group? Why were they searching for her?

Bai Hanyun couldn’t understand why they were involved in this matter and was searching for her. After all, she’d only spoken to Gui Xiaoxu twice at most.

Sensing something was wrong, Bai Hanyun nodded and said, “Let’s go.”

With that, Bai Hanyun and Feng Wu followed Hua Yuyu and the others to their cars.

Meanwhile, not far from there, Gui Ying stood before a group of men kneeling on the ground.

Looking at their strange clothing, Gui Ying lightly sniffed the air and muttered with a hint of confusion and interest in his deep, smooth voice, “This is odd. They don’t have the blood of the Gui Clan, yet they carry the faint aura of the Gui Clan.”

As Gui Ying was thinking, the leader overheard his muttering. Narrowing his eyes, he asked, “Who are you? What do you want?”

The man’s question interrupted Gui Ying’s thoughts. He glanced at the leader and smiled faintly.

The moment Gui Ying’s calm gaze fell on him, the leader felt a chill run down his spine. That cold, calm stare reminded him of his Master.

After a brief silence, Gui Ying reached out to lift the leader’s chin, then leaned closer and asked calmly, “Do you know anyone from the Gui Clan?”

Knowing he couldn’t defeat the masked man before him, the leader decided to gather some information first. He tried to pull his chin free from Gui Ying’s grasp, only to find that he couldn’t move at all.

Noticing his futile struggle, Gui Ying’s faint smile deepened. “Be obedient and answer this young master’s question. This young master hates people who waste my time the most.”

Looking into Gui Ying’s eyes, the leader shuddered as he suddenly felt that death was standing in front of him. He knew that if he delayed his answer, he’d be dead in the next second.

Having no other choice, he replied honestly, “Yes.”

Satisfied with the answer, Gui Ying’s mood improved. He released the man’s chin, took out a handkerchief, and wiped his fingers.

When he was done, he stared at the handkerchief for a moment before putting it back into his spatial ring.

Watching the handkerchief appear and vanish, the leader and his team were stunned. Before they could react, Gui Ying snapped his fingers, and the invisible pressure on their bodies disappeared.

Glancing at them lazily, Gui Ying said, “Lead the way. This young master wishes to meet that person.”

When he saw them exchanging hesitant glances, Gui Ying sighed. “Forget it. It will be faster if this young master does it myself.”

After saying that, he touched the leader’s forehead with his index and middle fingers. A second later, the leader suddenly groaned in pain as Gui Ying extracted his memories.

A few seconds later, Gui Ying retracted his hand and snapped his fingers.

Instantly, black and purple mist engulfed him and the group of men in combat suits, and they vanished from the spot.

By the time the leader and his teammates recovered from their dizziness, they were already kneeling on the cold floor of the main hall of the Gui Clan mansion located deep in the mountains.
