834: Tear 834: Tear The Overseer, seeing that everyone had finally settled and that their wandering thoughts had come to an end, simply continued speaking.

“We have discovered that they crossed into our Galaxy through a tear in reality.” As he spoke, the enormous holographic projection shifted, the screen displaying the image of a rift in the very fabric of existence.

“Although we have yet to determine how this tear came into being, we have located three of them across different points in space through the Divination abilities that were employed prior to this meeting.” His words triggered a new wave of frowns.

Yes, all of them possessed the capacity to tear through reality, but they also understood that reality existed in layers, many, many layers.

The mere act of teleportation was, in essence, a micro”‘tear in reality, a brief slice through space that allowed one to appear elsewhere.

This meant that even someone at the Mortal Mana Rank could tear reality if they truly desired.

But as everyone knew, the layers that made up reality were not equal.

The tear created by the invaders from the Divinora Galaxy was a completely different magnitude, one that linked two entirely different Galaxies.

Such a feat necessitated an extraordinary level of power.

Even the Aetherian Race, whose innate abilities allowed them to manipulate reality with a mere thought, had never achieved something on this scale.

“Have we closed any of these tears in reality?” a voice boomed, resonating throughout the hall as Michael finally spoke.

Heads turned toward him instantly.

Though Michael felt the weight of their collective gaze, he remained unbothered, unflinching, and utterly composed.

His calm eyes remained fixed upon the Voidwalker, awaiting a response.

“No,” the Voidwalker answered, his single word slicing through the air.

Several within the hall frowned immediately.

“What the fuck have you been doing that you, or anyone who knows about this, haven’t closed it until now?” Riven demanded, a deep frown creasing his face.

A tear of this magnitude could not remain open.

If left unchecked, these so”‘called Angels would continue pouring into their Galaxy unimpeded.

The smile on the Overseer’s face vanished.

He stared at Riven, his eyes hardening with a silent warning, as though daring the Calamity Demon to speak to him in such a tone again.

Riven received the message clearly, yet he didn’t react.

He neither apologized nor repeated himself.

He simply leaned back, expression blank, waiting for an answer to his question.

Seeing that Riven the Calamity Demon refused to rise to provocation, the Overseer exhaled lightly before continuing.

“Not everyone can even approach the spatial tear.

The space and void surrounding it are extremely unstable.

Those who attempted to go near died before they could even reach the tear in order to try closing it.” His voice paused briefly, as though giving them room to comprehend the weight of what he had just said.

“But even those who managed to reach the tear could not close it, nor could they cross over to the other side.

Since they are the ones who opened the tear, it is expected that they would have taken precautions.” The Overseer’s tone remained steady.

“However, although we cannot close it, we have stationed forces near all three tears.

Should any of those white feathered birds attempt to cross into our Galaxy, they will either be intercepted and captured.” Silence settled over the hall once more, a heavy, contemplative silence, before being broken again.

“Shouldn’t the Voidwalker or the Aetherian Race be able to close it?” Mitchelle suggested, her legs elegantly crossed as she leaned back in her seat.

“The Voidwalkers are masters of Space and Void, while the Aetherians can manipulate reality with sheer will.

If anyone could close such a tear, it should be one of them.” The Overseer’s eyes shifted toward Mitchelle.

He remembered her.

In truth, he had thought about her for the last three years, not with lust or affection, but with an unspoken wariness.

She had done something no one else had ever accomplished: she had crossed into his personal Void Dimension without his knowledge.

No other being had ever managed such a feat.

But she had.

“We attempted that method already,” the Overseer replied calmly.

“Both races tried, and both failed.

According to one of the Seers, we need someone who possesses both Space and Time affinities, or two individuals, one with Space and the other with Time.

And I believe I need not explain the level of strength they would require.” His words carried a somber gravity, the kind that made several within the hall tense.

Another wave of frowns spread.

Two of the most powerful races in existence had tried and failed.

Space affinity was not exactly rare, many present could manipulate space to a notable degree, but Time was another matter entirely.

Only a few among them possessed Time Affinity at all.

The eyes of the assembly shifted toward Aaaninja, the Time based Celestial.

He was their best candidate in terms of Time, but did his power reach the level required to close a tear linking two Galaxies?

All doubted it.

Their gazes then drifted toward Null Anthony, known to possess both Time and Space affinities.

But, as always, they dismissed him from their considerations, convinced he had not yet attained the realm of strength needed.

Their attention shifted to Lucian and the enigmatic woman named Aura.

But ultimately, all of them sighed.

To them, the younger generation, while certainly talented, was nowhere near the level required to mend fractures in the fabric of reality itself.

If only they knew how wrong they were.

A thought flickered through the mind of the First Supreme Monarch.

He possessed both Time and Space affinities.

He was powerful, undeniably so, but he was not sure he possessed the power needed to close all three tears.

Planetary level beings far stronger than him had perished simply by drawing near.

Attempting this would be a chance, a possibility, but one laced with the certainty of death.

He could feel the scrutiny of several higher”‘ranked Planetary beings from top”‘tier and mid”‘tier races.

They were assessing him, evaluating him silently, wondering whether he might be capable of performing the impossible, given they had witnessed him wield both Time and Space in battle.

The First Supreme Monarch maintained his composure flawlessly.

His expression gave nothing away.

He sat in perfect poise, appearing indifferent, as though he were merely listening, yet his mind spun rapidly with calculations, doubts, and possibilities.

Then their eyes shifted once more, to Charles Evander.

Perhaps, if all else failed, they would ask him to summon the Spirit King.

But before resorting to that, several among them would undoubtedly travel to the tears themselves after the meeting, convinced they were powerful enough to close them by sheer force of will or mastery.

Powerful?

Certainly.

Powerful enough to close tears in reality?

That remained an uncertain, and perhaps deadly, unknown.
