Martial Arts Worlds - Chapter 786
Chapter 786: Martial Gods
Gaoh swung the chain, wrapped it around Imperius’ neck, and sent him flying through the air.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Xerxus fired his revolver—the kickback after each shot pushed him back—as he was using more and more of his martial soul’s strength on those bullets.
Each bullet was also a creation of his martial ability, and he could make them stronger by sacrificing some of his energy.
It consumed his stamina greatly, but in return, those bullets could kill everything that they touched!
Gaoh spun the chain around. It was so fast that the chain looked blurry. And he deflected all the bullets.
The bullets harmlessly bounced off.
‘He isn’t even using his Martial Ability to completely dominate us!’
Xerxus thought with an ugly expression.
In that moment, Imperius jumped through the air, crossed his arms, and released his collection of corpses.
They were every person that he had ever killed, and there were close to a million!
The million-strong corpse army stomped down the land—their eyes burning with green flames—they let out gurgling sounds like zombies.
“Never-Ending Mist!”
In that moment, Gaoh waved his hand and the million-strong corpse army got shrouded in a thick mist.
Within the mist, there were strange creatures that started eating the corpses, and the army got quickly subjugated.
“That mist… Is that your doing?”
Xerxus asked in shock.
There was a mist that had always been “protecting” the Dead World from any invaders, and nobody knew where it even came from.
“Yes. That mist is a creation of my power.”
Gaoh said.
…
In the forest.
“…What should we do?”
Yara asked in fear.
“Simple… Fight!”
Sabbath screamed and attacked the eight-eyed Kouketsu with his heavy-looking pillar. It came crashing down on the massive man.
Kouketsu grabbed the pillar, crushed it in his fist, and punched Sabbath as if he were nothing but fly.
Sabbath flew through the air, going through trees, and smashed into a mountain wall. His body looked broken.
“Ugh… Gagh…”
He coughed out blood and struggled to get up but collapsed back down onto the ground.
“We can’t possibly fight! Let’s try to get to the ship!”
Lambert Ward shouted.
In that moment, Miseria danced past him—the thin-bladed sword of hers moving through air—and it separated Lambert’s head from his torso.
“Lambert, no!”
Antigone screamed.
He was another of Xerxus’ students, and she grew up with him, and he was basically her big brother.
Now he was dead just like that!
This was the last straw, and every member of the Martial Order just scattered and went their own way.
They couldn’t possibly fight against True Immortals!
It was a death sentence.
“No… NO!”
Yara screamed as Kouketsu stomped her like a bug, and Genevieve watched with a horrified expression as her beloved daughter died.
Yara had just become engaged over in Gamarah Kingdom and was about to marry the love of her life.
Genevieve had watched her grow with that childhood love of hers, and was happy to see them finally seal the union.
Instead…
Here that love ended.
“…You!”
Genevieve screamed and attacked Kouketsu with anger fueling every strike, and she kept pummeling him in the chest.
Her fists broke upon contact with his unbreakable skin, blood splattering everywhere, and even her bones sprouted sharp points that pierced through her skin.
“Ahhh! Dieeeeeeeee!”
Genevieve screamed with tears of blood running down her flesh.
“…”
Kouketsu looked at her as if she were nothing but a nuisance and stomped her like a bug, crushing her under his foot with a satisfying crunch.
Genevieve was a powerful Martial Emperor, but even she died like nothing in front of True Immortal.
Miseria chased after Liora and cut her down mercilessly. It was an absolute massacre, and nobody could do anything to stop it.
…
“Huff!”
Valerian and Sven arrived at the cliff and saw the ship below the cliff, shaking against the waves.
“What should we do, master?”
Sven asked.
“Jump!”
Valerian shouted and jumped down the cliff with Sven blindly following after him, and they crashed into the sea.
They then climbed back into the ship and looked up to the cliff with shaky gazes.
“What should we do?”
Sven asked.
On one hand, he already just wanted to leave and leave everyone else to their own luck, but on the other hand, it didn’t seem right.
“…Tch.”
Valerian was also conflicted about what to do, as others were currently keeping True Immortals busy, so it was the perfect time to leave.
In that moment, one of the ship’s doors opened, and someone walked out, drinking some liquor from a bottle.
“Ah… The drink from the humanlands. It’s pretty bland and shitty, honestly.”
Twisted said and tossed the bottle over the board and looked at the two frightened men with a chilly smile.
“What’s up? You really thought it would be that easy to leave, hmm? Think again.”
“…That guy”
Valerian’s legs lost their strength, and he crumpled to the ground, his eyes wide with fear. He had never been so shocked in all his life.
“M-Master, this overwhelming energy… What the hell is this?”
Sven asked, and he slowly peed his pants as he couldn’t handle the overwhelming energy that Twisted was giving off.
“T-That guy is beyond True Immortal… He has reached the Martial God Stage… Is he Dead World’s strongest warrior?”
Valerian asked in shock.
“Me? Stronger? Nah… I am only tenth in Black Knights rankings, haha.”
Twisted said with a grin.
“Tenth? That’s bullshit! You are a martial god; there is no way there are people stronger than you. It is impossible!”
Valerian screamed.
“…But it is true. I am a False God, which is the first rank in the Martial God Stage, and there are other fellow Black Knights who’ve reached the Demi God and True God ranks… hehe.”
Twisted said with a giggle.
Valerian and Sven were stunned.
They had never heard about more than one Martial God existing at times, and what Twisted was saying was that there were at least ten of them in Dead World?
Even more?!
It broke their understanding of the reality.
“And now… It is time for you two to go to sleep.”
Twisted touched their faces, and they screamed and struggled, but eventually, he removed their heads from their bodies.
Crack!
