Magus Supremacy - Chapter 658
Chapter 658: Feeling Empty
CHAPTER 658
Thud!
The sound filled the air as the man fell heavily to the ground while the wind swords dissipated into nothingness.
Grey remained perfectly still, staring at the empty space ahead, refusing to move an inch.
His gaze was unwavering, fixed and cold.
‘Strangely, I don’t feel anything.’ he mused inwardly as his hand crept slowly toward his chest while he surveyed the bodies strewn across the floor.
‘I don’t feel sadness for what I did, nor do I feel anger at myself. I am just… there. Hollow.’
Sigh!
He let it out softly as he slowly tilted his head back, staring at the ceiling above.
Through the mask, a single tear slid down his cheek, landing silently on the floor, yet he did not even notice it.
“I wonder,” he muttered coldly, his voice barely audible, “is this what power and strength makes one feel like? It’s as though I’m gradually losing what makes me human.”
He glanced down at his hands, and an image flashed across his mind so swiftly that his eyes widened in shock.
His palms were dripping with blood, soaked in crimson, gleaming under the dim light. The image sent a shiver down his spine.
Shaking his head, he dismissed it, and his hands returned to their normal, clean state.
“I honestly hope I don’t encounter something that will make me completely snap and become utterly emotionless, otherwise…” he mumbled,
His voice trailing as he looked back to the man on the ground, whose mouth hung open in silent agony, tears still in his eyes, blood steadily oozing from his abdomen.
“I feel pity for my future foes.” Grey whispered under his breath, shaking his head slowly, his eyes scanning the room.
Ash froze immediately, his entire body stiffening, heart hammering violently in his chest.
‘Am I… scared? Even Alba doesn’t instill fear in me, and yet, just looking at the Supreme Magus, I feel terrified? Damn it!’ Ash spat inwardly, clenching his fists so tightly his knuckles turned more pale.
‘Come to think of it, is this why he is so confident? Is this why he feels certain he can take over the Aetherian faction? Is it because of his unusual powers? Wait… did he just say he has family waiting for him both in this world and another?
What does that mean? Does it imply he is not from this world?’ Ash’s eyes widened, his realization hitting him like a thunderbolt, leaving his mouth slightly ajar.
‘Now, time for the next phase.’ Grey thought as he turned his gaze toward the remaining fifty men, groaning and trembling in pain.
Most were currently unconscious, sprawled across the floor in defeat.
Without wasting a single second, he walked calmly toward one of them, crouching directly in front of the fallen man.
‘I promised to make you all experience a world of pain that would make you beg for death instantly, right?
The first batch already felt emotional torment. Now, it’s time for the rest to feel physical agony.’ Grey’s teeth ground back and forth in restrained fury, his chest rising and falling slowly as he prepared.
Without hesitation, he placed his hand directly on the man’s head, closing his eyes and inhaling deeply.
When he exhaled, the man screamed in sheer agony, a cry of pure terror that echoed through the room.
An invisible force seemed to leave the man’s body and enter Grey’s, sending waves of searing pain coursing through him, a sensation he had never experienced before.
‘Some abilities are learned, honed through effort, while others are blessings of the universe.
For instance, my new power to steal and drain Ki from living beings.’ Grey thought as the man on the ground continued screaming, his body convulsing uncontrollably in horror.
His voice rang out so loud that the other unconscious men immediately stirred awake, only to freeze in terror as they saw the Supreme Magus crouched in front of one of them.
Before their wide eyes, the man’s body began to shrivel, his eyes sinking into their sockets, hair gradually turning white, while Grey continued to draw out his Ki, stealing his very life force in the process.
Dread instantly settled over the remaining men like a heavy fog.
Witnessing this, they tried to gather their strength and make a desperate break for it, only to be flung back down with a collective yelp as they crashed onto the floor helplessly.
Looking down, they noticed their kneecaps had been shattered during Grey’s earlier assault.
They had assumed his strikes had missed, but now the horrifying truth revealed itself.
The Supreme Magus had deliberately incapacitated them so he could do this.
The first man, now completely lifeless, lay on the ground, all spark of life extinguished from his eyes.
“Now, who’s next?” Grey asked callously, turning his gaze toward the men who screamed in unison, the sheer horror and dread coursing through their hearts.

Meanwhile, downstairs, Killian stood in disbelief at the spectacle he had just witnessed.
‘Huh? Did my sword really do that?’ Killian wondered, confusion clouding his expression as he stared down at the red sword.
A sudden coughing sound drew his attention, and he turned to see Osric slowly rising, wrists bleeding faintly.
‘Wait! That was just flames… I could sense some Ki within that attack.
So, when I infused the sword with Ki, it ignited into fire, striking Osric and managing to break through his Ki defense. Incredible,’ he analyzed inwardly, a mixture of astonishment and awe crossing his features.
Osric opened his mouth to speak, but loud bangs erupted around them, accompanied by cries of agony.
Turning, the two warriors saw the Behemoth clan men fleeing in pure terror, while the Supreme Magus chased them with relentless speed.
Grey moved faster than the eye could follow, decimating the fleeing men one by one with brutal efficiency.
Each strike was precise, merciless, and devastating.
‘His abilities… they are not of this world. Who is he truly?’ Osric thought, his hands trembling—not from fear, but from sheer frustration and fury. ‘He is no human. He is a demon!’
“I will!” Osric shouted, anger flashing in his eyes as he surged forward toward Grey. Killian reacted instantly, dashing to intercept him.
Swinging his red sword upward from below with full force, he unleashed a massive Ki slash that rocketed toward Osric at nearly point-blank range, the air around it crackling with deadly energy.
