637: I’m Listening 637: I’m Listening Chapter 637 Grey let out a breath as he glanced up to look at the warrior.

“Can you strike up a meeting with them for me?” “Huh?!” Dame muttered in confusion as he raised an eyebrow at the Supreme Magus.

“A meeting with the Crimson Lotus Clan?

Why do you want to meet them?” Sigh!

“I just want to meet the clan that decided to partner up with an unknown being to sell his product, and I kind of have something to discuss with them.

It is urgent, and I cannot tell you right now until I meet them myself.” Grey replied calmly as he stared at the warrior in front of him.

“So what do you say?

Is it possible to set up a meeting?” ‘Damn, what can I do huh?

Alba also requested a meeting with him a while back and I purposely delayed it, but now he seeks a meeting with her himself, so I guess I can inform them.’ Dame sighed inwardly as he rubbed his temples with a small frown on his face.

“Yeah sure, I can do that.

When do you want to meet?” He finally asked.

“Tomorrow, if possible.

They can choose the location, but the day should be tomorrow.” Grey replied sternly.

“I do not care if they have a mission tomorrow or not, it better be postponed.” “Sheesh, you are now acting like the boss here.” Dame muttered with a chuckle as he turned around.

“This can work, but one thing you should know is that,” “Huh?” Grey muttered as he saw the warrior tilting his head his way.

“Keep your arrogance to yourself when you meet with them.

Do not offend the leader of the clan, she is powerful.” Dame completed his words as he shut the door behind him and walked away.

“Oh really?” Grey whispered with a smirk on his face hidden beneath the mask.

“I have dealt with people more powerful than that.

I think I can manage.” Sigh!

Grey let out as he pulled the mask off his face and dropped down the hood of his robe, letting his red hair flow freely as he lay on his back on the bed.

“Luckily, even though everybody knew I did not have the mark of this world, nobody complained.

Ever since the tournament, the principal has not been seen again so the decision of what should be done to me has not been made yet.

And according to Yami sir, I might get killed if anybody realises I do not have the mark.

Damn it, before I get executed, I need to take down those damn leaders as fast as possible.” Grey muttered as he clenched his hands in the air, staring at the ceiling in deep thought.

‘Which is why I requested this meeting.

According to Dame, the clan consists of seven members and each one is strong on their own.

If I can get the help of the Lotus Clan, find a way to level up my ki and magic more, I could have a solid shot against the leaders soon.

But will the Lotus Clan accept to help me though?

What would bind them to agree?

Why would they risk their reputation and position just to help me?

Hmm, I need to think of a way to turn this meeting in my favour as soon as possible.’ Grey thought with a deep frown on his face as he now rose up from the bed and decided to meditate.

__ ‘I wonder why the Supreme Magus demands a meeting with the Lotus Clan.’ Dame thought as he could be seen outside the inn, heading somewhere as fast as he could.

‘Damn it, I wonder why the Lotus Clan do not have a definite base.

Locating them is always a hassle for me since I have to check several places.’ the warrior spat inwardly in anger.

‘Or maybe I should check up on Ash, at least he has a definite place, and with his help, I can locate Alba.’ “Or wait.” Dame mumbled as he suddenly halted in the middle of the street and quickly dragged his palm across his face.

“Fool, have you forgotten what today is?

Tch, I know where she would be by this time.” With that thought, Dame changed his route and began walking somewhere else with a bit more urgency in his pace.

A few minutes later, he could be seen walking into a bar.

Pushing the door open, he did not even bat an eyelid at the other customers scattered around the room as he quickly glanced up toward the VIP area.

The smell of strong alcohol and the low chatter filled the air, but he ignored all of it.

Without hesitation, he began walking toward the VIP section.

Before Dame could say or do anything, a bulky warrior standing in front of the staircase that led upstairs stepped in his way.

Just as he opened his mouth to speak, a voice called from above.

“Oh Dame!” A feminine voice shouted.

“Hey you!

Let him go, and never stop him from coming up here again as long as we are here, fool!” “I am sorry, miss.” The bulky man apologised immediately and stepped out of the way, letting Dame climb the stairs without resistance.

Soon enough, Dame stood in front of seven chairs arranged loosely around a table with drinks placed in front of them.

On one particular seat, Alba could be seen with a drink in hand, her crimson hair cascading down her shoulder blades as her fierce brown eyes locked onto Dame.

“We were not expecting you today,” Alba began as she watched Dame walk toward them until he grabbed an eighth chair and plopped it next to the table.

“Is there any problem that you came all this way to see me?” “Or probably his dad has sent him on another suicide mission.” Killian chimed in before bursting into laughter and so did the others, their amusement bouncing across the table.

“That incident is not something to laugh about.” Dame sneered with a deep frown, the memory still bitter in his chest.

“Oh really?!

But I think it is quite funny though.” A younger woman at the table who stood around five foot seven with long pink hair commented casually.

“Lilly!” Dame snarked sharply as he glared at the young woman.

“So, what actually brings you here?” Another man at the table asked.

His arms were so bulky that it looked like stones were mounded on them, and his stare was fixed on Dame with curiosity.

“It is not any major issue, Brook, just that it is something of a little importance to Alba.” Dame replied as he turned his gaze back to the leader of the small clan.

“Huh?

Of importance to me?

And what is that?” Alba asked as she continued chugging her drink, though her eyes did not leave him.

“The Supreme Magus.

He seeks a meeting with you.” Dame casually dropped the words and Alba froze mid drink.

Her brown eyes widened as she slowly dropped the bottle, a smirk crossing her lips with a spark of interest lighting up her features.

“I am listening.” She muttered.
