Chapter 611 BANG!

A thunderclap-like sound rang out furiously, shattering the sound barrier as the Supreme Magus darted forward like a bolt of living lightning.

Appearing in front of the demon in a flash was Grey.

His speed was so immense that it stunned the demon completely, leaving it unable to react.

Like a blazing storm of elemental fury, the Supreme Magus appeared, his lightning sword crackling with lethal intent.

He swung it toward Gil in a flash, the sword streaking cleanly through the air, blazing with destructive energy.

‘Shit!’ the lower echelon thought as he barely brought his hands in front of his face just in time, but the lightning sword struck with immense force and unstoppable intent.

BANG!

The sound was deafening and destructive, the air itself shuddering violently.

Even though both combatants hovered in midair, the ground beneath them split open instantly as a gust of wind blasted outward, sending debris scattering violently in every direction.

TCHWK!

(FX for flesh being sliced open.) The lightning sword sliced cleanly through the arms guarding the demon’s face.

Blood sprayed in every direction as the demon was blasted backward from the sheer recoil of Grey’s strike.

Its severed limbs fell through the air, landing with wet thuds across the arena floor.

The demon crashed into the spectator stands with a thunderous bang, causing dust and debris to fly everywhere.

Grey hovered in the air, twin swords crackling with energy, his eyes locked on the direction where he had sent the demon flying.

Everyone watching froze in shock, mouths agape, as they stared at the demon’s severed arms scattered across the ground before glancing upward at the Supreme Magus hovering with elemental swords in hand, radiating lethal energy.

Rivock remained on his knees, tears streaming down his face as his mind spun with the flashing images of the battle.

Noelle crouched beside him, holding him gently but still watching the fight rage above them.

Thalos, Sera, and Mada stood on the ground, looking skyward.

Hope flickered in their eyes, ignited by the first clean, devastating hit the Supreme Magus had landed on the demon.

“Yeah, boy!

That’s my friend, Grey!” Liam shouted, cheering loudly from the ground with a wide grin.

He quickly wiped the sweat and tears streaming down his face as he watched in amazement.

‘Damn!

Even the combined attacks from Rivock, Mada, Instructor Sera, and Noelle weren’t enough to scratch the demon, but Grey swooped in and just sliced its arms off?

Dude is insane!’ Ray thought in shock as he stared into the sky.

‘Damn it!

That was tricky.

I felt a lot of resistance while slicing its arms.

It wasn’t easy at all, but luckily, I infused extra mana into the lightning sword.

That gave me the edge to cut cleanly through its limbs.’ Grey thought, staring at the crackling weapon in his hand with a calculated glare.

“Now let’s see how you fight without your arms!” Liam shouted, pointing toward the direction where the demon had been blasted.

A massive slab of earth suddenly hurled toward Grey, but he effortlessly sidestepped in midair.

The slab crashed into the ground with a loud bang, kicking up a huge cloud of dust and debris.

From the stands, the demon could now be seen launching itself angrily into the air, hovering with its bony wings twitching and flapping violently.

Its stumps still oozed blood as it glared at Grey, the deep frown on its face radiating pure fury.

“Armless bastard!

Hahaha!

Now let’s see you fi…” Liam trailed off, his eyes widening at what he saw next.

Loud crunching sounds filled the air-the sound of bones breaking… no!

Mending.

Dread immediately gripped everyone’s hearts.

“Shit, shit, shit!

I knew something like this was going to happen, hence I didn’t celebrate too early.” Sera gulped loudly, staring ahead to see the earlier stumps that had been bleeding stop bleeding entirely.

Then, in a rapid burst of movement, two new arms erupted from the stumps.

Liam instinctively took a step back in fright.

The demon wasn’t armless anymore; it had just regrown its limbs.

“You were all saying?” the demon asked, smirking as it glared first at Grey, then at Liam, whose face was slick with sweat.

“That won’t scare me!” Grey roared into the air.

Visible bolts of lightning crackled around his boots as he kicked off with all his might, shooting forward like a living storm of electricity, his elemental swords gleaming with raw power.

In the blink of an eye, he appeared directly in front of the demon, moving so fast he seemed like a blur.

He swung his lightning sword toward its neck, but in a surprising burst of speed, Gil ducked, narrowly avoiding the strike.

Grey wasn’t about to let this slide.

He swung his wind sword from below with all his might, sending it streaking toward the demon’s face with tremendous speed.

In a flash, the demon’s claws met the blade with immense force, creating a mini shockwave that blasted outward.

Cracks suddenly appeared along the sword’s surface.

“Take that!” Gil shouted.

Grey’s ears twitched as a silent slicing sound suddenly filled them, forcing the Supreme Magus to spin around in an instant.

His lightning sword streaked forward, clashing with what to others looked like air, releasing a burst of wind.

But Grey knew better.

His blade collided with the demon’s invisible strings, aimed to slice him in two.

Teeth grinding, he struggled to cut through the unseen threads when… Bang!

A sharp bang rang out, making Grey tilt his head to the side, only to see a powerful kick hurtling straight toward him from the demon.

‘Oh crap!
